The day of my appointment she arrived 20 minutes late and rushed me through the whole eyelash process, she didn't wear gloves or a mask and her station was unsanitary. She explains all the health and safety information you need to know before you get your brows done and how to care for them afterwards. Her studio is so cute! Everything was clean, the tools she used were sterile, looked like a doctors office! She took the time to go over my desired brow shape, fullness, color. She drew a stencil on my skin of my to-be brows and very patiently redrew it until I was completely satisfied with my perfect brows. She numbs the skin with a lidocaine jelly before the procedure begins. I'll be honest, it's a bit uncomfortable, similar to waxing. After she does the first pass she reapplied the lidocaine and now it REALLY works! After that the pain was hardly noticeable. Cara was so awesome about talking you through it and distracting you! As soon as we were done I was obsessed with my new brows! But then... they got super dark (I was warned this would happen...) and I started getting nervous. I thought I looked like an angry bird, haha. But just know this will pass! The pigment oxidizes which makes it look harsh. By the end of day 5 my brows lightened probably 40%. Then I was obsessed all over again! I've had so many people compliment me on my brows and they didn't even know I had microblading done because it looked so natural. I just had my 4 week touch up appointment and I could not be happier! It's so great not having to spend 15 minutes every morning filling in my brows.
