She was so kind, patient and educated. I don't trust myself with my own brows because they are sparse and don't have much direction to them. She started with the mapping them out and make sure that I loved it before the numbing process. The process of the tattooing part only took maybe hour or less then. She took her time with the details and you can feel her do that with every stroke she made with the pen. I got my eyebrows done three years ago by Lana. Even now--without any touch-ups or makeup--they…read morelook sooooooo good. People often don't know that I've had them done. Lana was incredibly professional, thorough, and gentle. She is the right person to trust with your brows. My only regret is that I didn't have them done sooner. I already had enough brow hair before but I needed help making them more symmetrical without taking away hair (achieving a fuller/thicker appearance), and I wanted a natural look since I don't wear a full face every day. It's so easy to maintain the shape Lana created for me. I relied on Lana's expertise and trusted her recommendations. She designed my brows, advised me on the best color, and made the whole process smooth. I have a hyperactive right brow and my left eyebrow had shorter/coarser hairs with more patches. She took all of this into account when mapping out the shape. She would also have me check the shape multiple times before we started the procedure. She'll also be super honest with you about what shape suits you best. I thank god every day that she talked me out of a Korean straight brow. The whole process took about 2.5-3 hours (1.5 hour consult and then the procedure). Other places can do it faster and charge more, but do you want someone who rushes?? I certainly didn't AND I would have paid twice as much for Lana's work. It didn't hurt at all. Lana was so gentle that I remember falling asleep. I called her multiple times…read moreprior to my appointment to ask about the procedure and she was always very thorough in providing a response to me. I was referred to her by a good friend of mine who got her brows done here as well. Her studio is located in a plaza with plenty of parking so that made it a lot easier for me when I arrived. Once I entered, I noticed everything was extremely clean and sanitary which made me feel more comfortable. Katie also showed me all the tools she used and highlighted the extra sanitation steps for each part of the process. She thoroughly explained the entire procedure from start to finish, which took about 2.5 hours. I decided to go with microshading (a combo of microblading + shading techniques) because it looked most natural to me. The first step was the application of the numbing cream so that there was no pain during the actual process. Second, Katie proceeded to draw on the brows evenly and asked for my thoughts before doing the actual procedure. She was patient with me and made sure I was satisfied before moving on to the next step. Then comes the actual microshading portion, which was not painful at all! That's what the numbing cream is for! and if it wears off, don't worry, Katie will re-apply more for you. About 1.5 hours and a nap later, Katie was done drawing my brows and showed me the final result: my nice, thick, and beautifully shaped brows! I was very happy with the results. I can't wait for my brows to heal and come back for my touch-up! I would 100% recommend coming here for any brow services.
