I have been getting my eyelash extensions done at places all over the Chicagoland area and I'm NEVER going anywhere else again! Lana made my eyelashes, which are extremely fine and few, look like Brooke Shields' with mascara on! So impressed And eyebrows: I have been deathly afraid to get them waxed or threaded because of horrible experiences and allergic reactions i the past. Lana offered to tweeze them, but promised she would be very gentle if I decided to get them threaded. I figured- "hey she just did a million dollar job on my lashes. I've been to a few places before and basically begged to have my 'evil arch' removed with no luck. Lana finally listened and got rid of it! Love a place where the owner listens to your needs and helps you get there. I went during the week and sat right down, so guessing it is busier on the weekends based on other posts. Got my brows threaded and tinted here. I'm still in eyebrow rehab after many years of over plucking and they're slowly improving, but they still need some help! I usually get them waxed every few months. However, I don't think I could ever go back to waxing! The threading was so precise and beautiful and while the tinting (it might have been henna?) looked a little dark at first, in a couple days it fades to just the right shade! I'm so happy with the results. This is my new brow place for sure! Also, they took me as a walk in! I didn't have an appointment. Super awesome read more

Lana is the sweetest! I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows done and get lash extensions for a wedding. I read the reviews for this place and I immediately made an appointment. It was empty, but it could just be because I went on a Thursday morning. This was also my first time getting lash extensions so I didn't know what to expect. Lana greeted me with a warm welcome and I felt so comfortable. The ambiance was so soothing. The music playing was relaxing--not the stuff playing on radio on repeat. It was a quick and easy process and the final results look great! I went on with my day and received a lot of compliments on them. They look natural and are not heavy. Lana did an amazing job. Like many who posted here, I have followed Lana from Elmhurst to her own shop, Brows and Beyond in Addison. She is always unfailingly pleasant, patient and professional. The shop is clean and comfortable although I have hardly ever waited due to Lana's aforementioned professionalism. Been here for the first time today, and I was very happy leaving. I wanted to get my eyebrows done but didn't want to spend $20 at a place where they turn out okay half the time. So for $10 I got my eyebrows threaded and they look great. I was the only one there so she took me right away and took less than 10 minutes and wasn't painful. Will definitely be back! read more

I had my eyebrows threaded by the woman whose chair is on the back right. She did a pretty good job except cut the top of my eyebrows too short. I didn't say anything because there's no point. It's like a hair dresser who cuts your hair too much and then asks you if it's ok. It's not like they can paste the hair back on. Eyebrow threading is $8. Also had upper lip waxed, which you think would be cheaper than eyebrows but nope, $10. If you get your upper lip threaded it's only $6. Waxing is a hell of a lot faster than threading so prices are screwy. read more

Awesome! I was looking for a eyebrow place to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted closer to my house in Villa Park. Everyone that knows me knows I don't have eyebrows, they are so blonde and faded. So my normal lady I go to in Elmhurst is always booked and I can never find an appointment after 5pm. So from all the other reviews I wanted to check out this place. I love that I can also use my credit card on purchases over $20, so that is a huge win for me since I never carry cash. I called and made an appointment at 5:15, walked in waited about 2 minutes and was sat and immediately consulted on what I wanted done. The whole experience was relaxing and very professional. Just what I needed after a long day of work and being the car. I love how my eyes brows turned out. She recommended that I come every two weeks. Ill be definitely making at least a once a month appointment here. Very clean and relaxing with the calming music in the background! read more

It was the worst place I went to to get micro blading done literally butchered my eyebrows !!!! My eyebrows look horrible and paid way too much will never recommend this place!!! I went to get my eyebrows threaded there Monday and the girl who did them before wasn't there so I just decided to go to Neena. Big mistake. I specifically told her to avoid threading in a certain area on the right brow because I was trying to grow out the hairs to make my eyebrows look similar. Despite the fact that I pointed it out to her, she goes ahead and threads the area I just told her to avoid. So now my brows look more uneven then they were to begin with. As I'm leaving I realize she screwed up the arch on one brow so I had to go back and have her fix it. I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to instruct her on how to properly thread eye brows and make sure they look even. Not going back. read more

I have been here a few times now and until last time I have had a great experience. However, last time I went in there was a new, young girl. I assumed since she was working at brows and beyond she would be just as good as the other girls. Boy was I wrong. First, she threaded my eyebrows, it was the most painful threading I have ever had! I even had red scars the next day because she ripped out my follicles. Then she attempted to apply henna, and it looked awful! only the first half of my brow got colored and she had to re-do it, which did not turn out any better. I was very disappointed. Finally after having a baby I realized maybe it's time to find someone closer. She was on the phone while she did my brows. After a five months of growing them back in, I decided to try Meena. She knows what she's doing! She cleans them up nicely without making them thin.
