While we battled for insurance money, approval for work to begin, and using a GC for the bulk of the project and James for our floors, he had an order held and waiting for us. Once we got the go ahead, James had flooring at my house the next day ready for installation. Ronald, Janesmar and Junior all carried the same level of respect, attention, and drive that James has to complete our project quickly and correctly. I have recommended James to other friends who've used his company and has equally glowing words for him and his team. I hope to never need new hardwood floors again, but if 3rd time is the charm, I'll still call PeachState Hardwood!

With both times we had Janesmar leading the finishing crew. He gave us great advice on which stains to pick both times and had our floor looking fantastic each time. When we had our first floor replaced, Ronald had it done in less than a day. Both times Peach State worked fast and delivered great results. My contractor for my bathroom renovation was delayed and David held the piece of Marble for me for a couple of months with a small deposit. That was the only good thing about my experience. When he arrived at my home I asked him to wear a mask. He gave me attitude but did it. Then the initial cuts were done improperly so he had to return a few days later. Not a big deal. When he returned I asked him to wear a mask again and he said he would leave if I asked him to wear a mask as he can't do it while he was working. I told him that I was sorry it was so hard for him but that I am not willing to risk mine and my family's health for marble. He finally agreed and did the install. The job is terrible...cuts not straight, areas not glued correctly, chips in the marble filled with an epoxy that has since turned orange. I told him that day that I didn't think it was right but he said that's the way it is supposed to look. I felt uncomfortable with him in my home so I asked him how much I owed him and he said he wanted cash. I told him I don't have cash and that I would write him a check. He reluctantly accepted it and left. The next day I sent him pictures and asked if he would please come and fix it. He said he was busy but would reach out when he was available. 6 days later I reach out to him and he agreed to come by. He arrives once again without a mask and I ask him to put one on and he flat out refuses. I told him I am uncomfortable with him being in my house without a mask and he told me that his chest hurt for 2 days after I made him wear the mask last time. He then says "Woman! I am in physical pain when I wear a mask and you don't care". I then asked him to leave my property. Between the incredible rudeness and terrible product I cannot recommend this company at all! Out of all of the contractors we worked with (and there were many), Claudio and his crew from Prime Hardwood Floors were by far the best. We had several flooring contractors come out and give us an estimate to replace all of the flooring, including replacing some of the subfloor and a significant amount of leveling. Claudio was the only one who didn't complain about the complicated nature of the job, flake out on us, and/or use that as justification for a jacked up bid. Instead, he calmly and quickly offered solutions that no one else had thought of. His price was completely reasonable and he didn't nickel and dime us for small changes that came up along the way. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the work on time. The transformation has been amazing and we've had so many compliments on our floors. I would definitely use them again for any future projects.

Patrick does his best to explain, re-explain, and explain again why you need what he knows he wants to sell you; however most times I leave the conversation more confused then when I came. I was quoted a price for a door and side light from an employee who drew the diagram and put the price on it right in front of the manager. I came back two weeks later to pay for it and it was $200 more. I didn't argue or mention it because 1) I was on the phone (shame on me), 2) I totally forgot to bring the drawing of the quote and 3) I trusted that all employees would be on the same page. On the date of purchase, I was told "2-3 weeks out I would have my door." I know this for sure because I left there same day and schedule the installer to come 2.5 weeks out with a flexible 3 day window. I called two weeks later, no door. I called three weeks later, no door. I called 3.5 weeks later and got an attitude from the same sales rep saying that it would be an additional week. I drove up there a couple days later and took a picture of my door leaning against the wall. Still not put together, still no phone call with an update. I called today asking about the door and they said it will be ready this evening. 4 weeks later. I also asked about the price discrepancy and I was told "whoever you asked wasn't on the sales team, they were probably just an employee that doesn't know prices..." interesting. All and all, I wish there was another door place nearby but unfortunately there isn't (within a 15 mile radius).

They were running a special on some granite selections at the time which made my choice easier. Key points for them and other counter installers (I learned) is they will not reconnect the sink/faucet nor stove cooktops so you need secure those professionals. Also make sure you have a good way to shut off water for sink and gas if needed. Fast install and they worked with my scheduling. Nice staff. The one downside was they did not come in placing down cloths to protect space.
