No problems but the coolant put back in was green instead of the yellow. I also had them price changing the 4 spark plugs which their estimate was $504.51. I changed them myself for $70.00 and only took an hour. I have always been a customer for several years but now question the fair pricing. The work was done satisfactory but question pricing. I'm looking elsewhere now.

Vehicle was dropped off in June, here it is the 10th of October and nothing was done. He ordered a…read morepart according to him, a valve body, back in June or July, I went and picked the vehicle up and brought it to Wells and within 10-20 minutes he said it wasn't mechanical it was electrical. So I don't know what Coate's was going to do to it but it sure wasn't going to fix the problem. I think he's probably over his head trying to run a business with no help. He couldn't find our keys, we had to, then he couldn't find his own keys and he had us blocked in.

We stayed in Park city, Kentucky for about three months due to a transmission fiasco. We broke down…read morein Bowling Green and had to be towed to Diamond Caverns rv resort. We worked for quite some time trying to find someone to fix our transmission and it was difficult and frustrating! Someone at the RV Park recommended Coates and we called them. They came out the same day to take a look and give us an idea of what we needed. A little backstory, the original guy that was working on the transmission ended up bringing it to us after about 2 1/2 months in pieces, many many pieces. Seth, at Coates, came out and took the transmission back to the shop and Cliff, the owner, started working on it. We had to have it totally rebuilt. We finally were able to get it installed, we had wait on the winter weather several times and we took it in one evening after waiting for a tow. They allowed us to sleep in our RV in their lot and started working the next morning. They spent all day on our RV. Seth and Brad are worked to get it installed and didn't even take breaks! It was missing some parts so they worked tirelessly on finding what we needed. We got back on the road and now have a perfectly running transmission!!! This place is more than amazing. They take pride in their work, are friendly, and bend over backwards to make sure we were safe. They know what they are doing and are professionals. If we ever need anything in KY again, we are going back to Coates! Ask for Brad, Seth and Cliff (the owner).

If you're a POC, DO NOT patronize this business. I took my vehicle in for deer damage repair…read more Almost 2 years and $7000+ later it's still not completed. I've been given the run around for almost 2 years...nothing. There's a reason they want the ins payment for repair up front, they're thieves. They kept my vehicle for six months. I had damages on my vehicle that were not there when I dropped it off(window and doors not properly working and not to mention still didn't fix parking light that was part of the paid damage and repair from ins)IF they did $2000 worth of repair would be a stretch. They issued me a loner car for maybe 2 months (of the 6 that they had my car in their shop) and I had to use 3 AAA services on it. Yes, they were accommodating in that aspect and didn't charge me $500 deductible but NEVER said anything about forfeiting repairs to offset the deductible( apparently my $7000+ was used to repair everybody else's vehicle in shop because I'm a POC? Where's the other $5000?) They drove my vehicle too and even had their names programmed in my Bluetooth list‍. Just do not go here. I'm not even sure that they are ASE certified.I've tried multiple times to get my vehicle fixed. Multiple times "something came up" and they couldn't keep the appointment. I even took off work a couple times and they still found a way to not be there(roof repair because of storm?) At one point Chris told me I had a toll bill that needed to be paid first. I said fine, send me an itemized bill and I'll pay it just so I can get my car fixed(at this point I'm convinced they're crooks or druggies‍)Nothing!!! I've requested itemized bill of actual repairs and supplies done!! Nothing!!!!Maybe now they will answer and unblock/accept my phone calls.
