I'm very impressed. And what can I say..... that rarely I haven't had carpet in my home in over five years (and still don't want it, but ehhh that's what happens when you're a renter). I have a beautiful plush 10x10 or 12x12 area rug to cover this ridiculous hideous indie outdoor carpet the cheap owners laid. Anywho.... A van with equipment cemented in the truck, like no carrying a machine in (like the ones a the grocery store) 3. The owner himself there to do the job. 4. The owners wife there's helping him. 5. No jiving around. When Mr. Brown saw my rug, he was like oh this a rug rug lol. Like a real rug. Him and his wife set up shop, I made sure they had cold drinks (to all my helpers out there reading this... please don't offer anyone outside of your family tap water or soothing unsealed. We're in an pandemic and no on trust you!) speaking of I thought that was amazing that this company was still working during Covid! Brownie points much! Back to the topic... within 30 minutes my carpet was done. I asked what's my damage, setting as the rug wasn't what he thought. (It took a lot to clean it). Mr. Brown quoted me the same price. I thought that was mighty upstanding if him. I wouldn't have been upset if he changed more.... due to me never vacuuming the rug due to being scared to mess it up. Made an appointment to get two rooms deep cleaned very disappointed with the service done. Once my carpet was dry it looked horrible and smelled like cats and dogs in the last room he did and I'm allergic to animals. I had to call another carpet company to do the work right. And the guy told me after 24hours the tiny red stain in my carpet will disappear like seriously the red stain is still there. I have mixed feelings about my experience. I requested a basic carpet cleaning for my bedroom, living room and hallway. I was satisfied with the price he gave. One of the 2 men Stated that I should get a deep clean since I had so many stains on the carpet. Which was a one hundred percent increase. I declined. The stains he was referring to was heavy foot traffic, coffee, crystal light, and red wine. So I'm thinking nah, im good it'll come up as it did the last time had the carpet cleaned. (Which was 6 months ago) all the stains except the crystal light came up which I was surprised about and didnt noticed until the crapet dried But ok The basic is too basic. I said I needed my chair done correctly and he wanted me to call the same guy back, that did a bad job. Omg! My carpets are 7 years old and light colored. They was very dirty! I thought I would have to replace all the carpet, however, I decided to try to clean them first. So glad I did. They brought my carpet back to like new! I waited to see if stains would reappear as Ive heard in the past. Not one stain reappeared. They did an amazing job. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because furniture wasn't moved in the loft (it was a heavy entertaining system) and once we moved it we had to cover that area with a rug. So I sent a message to Browns Carpet cleaning, I provided square footage of the house, provided number of rooms for the quote and confirmed a time for the appointment after a price was agreed to. They quoted me $195 for a 2000sqft home, with an office, living room, family room, hallway 3 bedroom with master suite. Mind you the house is only 1550 sqft so I gave them an extra room for them to quote me. Day of the appointment, curtis arrives, at nearly 9pm (6:30pm appt) does his walk through and says " naw this is atleast $215-235 to clean. I said no you guys quoted me this much otherwise I would've chosen another company that quoted me less. Him knowing my deadline, he stood his ground and ended charging me $40 more than what was quoted. I agreed to it because it was already late and I worked the next day. While I was out in the hallway, he ended up using my freshly cleaned bathroom and splashed urine on the toilet and floor. I just had this house cleaned by a cleaning company for moving out. Why did this guy not use the bathroom before he showed up late to my appointment? Anyway, after the job was done, I had to walk through the house to turn off the lights because he didnt think to turn it off after finishing each room. I'm giving five stars because carpets turned out decent but, taking away 4 stars for being 2.5 hrs late, switch and bait on price and using my freshly cleaned bathroom without asking first and forcing me to walk on wet carpets to turn off all lights. Update: Business manager and I spoke and we worked out our situation and I am happy with the solution offered. I must add, Curtis did call me to inform me he was running late, but the timing was still a little bit off.
