I couldn't be happier with how my carpets turned out--they look amazing! What really stood out to me was how honest and upfront he was about the pricing from the very beginning. No surprises, no last-minute add-ons. I had a really positive experience overall. Even though he ran into some unexpected technical issues with his van, he was completely honest and upfront about what was going on. I paid him when he arrived, and despite having to leave a few times to try and fix the problem, he always came back and made sure the job got done. He never made excuses or tried to cancel, and you can tell he truly takes pride in his work. That level of dedication and honesty is hard to find. I really appreciated his effort and would absolutely recommend him. I had a completely different experience with another company last year--they quoted me a low price, but once they arrived, suddenly everything cost extra. It felt misleading and frustrating. This time was the total opposite. Professional, transparent, and great results. I would definitely hire him again and will be recommending him to others! read more

Great company, had a tough stain to remove. They got it removed the same day I called. I was warned it may come back just due to the nature of the stain. Next day some of the stain re appeared. Contacted them and they came back out and to re treat the stain same day. Great communication, price and customer service. read more

Very professional with his work. Responds in a timely manner. I had a turmeric spot that my bissell couldn't get out. He did a spot treatment and came back the next day as promised. Steamed the stain and it was gone in seconds. Pricing was decent. All around good experience I'll definitely use his services again. read more

Browns cleaned the heck out of my carpet! I was really on the verge of pulling the carpet up on a DIY makeover mission but it was so close to the holiday (Indigenous Peoples Day) that I needed to switch up my plans and quick. I called, they had a great voice-mail that assured that they call all people back which was nice. They called me back within 10 minutes and scheduled a visit. Brown was on time, very warm spirited and knowledgeable. I got a deep clean, they got the job done in an hour and even treated a stubborn pink stain that was part of the reason I wanted to rip the old carpet out. I'm so happy with the results it gave new life to my house and my spirit! They do all things carpet so if you have some carpet problems, let Browns be your first choice! read more

I'm very impressed. And what can I say..... that rarely I haven't had carpet in my home in over five years (and still don't want it, but ehhh that's what happens when you're a renter). I have a beautiful plush 10x10 or 12x12 area rug to cover this ridiculous hideous indie outdoor carpet the cheap owners laid. Anywho.... I explained that to Mr. Brown over the office when I made my appt. I was quoted an insanely competitive price which made me think 1. My rug wasn't gonna get cleaned 2. They didn't know what they were doing. I went ahead with the appt bc honestly who can you find to come to your house in a Sunday and within 2 days of making an appt. I figured if it doesn't get clean clean, hey at least it got hit with some water. Sunday came and I was pretty surprised to see a few things 1. A black owned business. 2. A van with equipment cemented in the truck, like no carrying a machine in (like the ones a the grocery store) 3. The owner himself there to do the job. 4. The owners wife there's helping him. 5. No jiving around. When Mr. Brown saw my rug, he was like oh this a rug rug lol. Like a real rug. Him and his wife set up shop, I made sure they had cold drinks (to all my helpers out there reading this... please don't offer anyone outside of your family tap water or soothing unsealed. We're in an pandemic and no on trust you!) speaking of I thought that was amazing that this company was still working during Covid! Brownie points much! Back to the topic... within 30 minutes my carpet was done. I asked what's my damage, setting as the rug wasn't what he thought. (It took a lot to clean it). Mr. Brown quoted me the same price. I thought that was mighty upstanding if him. I wouldn't have been upset if he changed more.... due to me never vacuuming the rug due to being scared to mess it up. I know I know that's not an excuse but it's the truth. Now fall back off me. Any way I'm thoroughly impressed. He told me what to look for one the carpet dried and if those things happen to call him back and he'll spray some other stuff on it to keep it white. Now I thought I had a problem keeping purple and animals off of it then.... imagine what ya girl going through now smh! And don't even think about about looking for a before pic. read more

My carpets were filthy, and I called this company up for service. I was initially quoted a decent price online. Once in my home, the technician recommended a deep cleaning due to the severity of the carpet. I agreed with the state of my carpet. I found him to be honest and fair in his assessment and charges. He worked quickly and efficiently. My carpets look soooooo good. I was considering replacing my carpets. But due to the cleaning job I can put that off for now. read more

I found browns carpet cleaning on instagram and was pleased with what I seen . When I talked to him over the phone his tone wasn't very inviting he came off really aggressive. I just wanted my carpets cleaned lol. Usually I would have turned the other way but I love supporting Black businesses , so I went ahead and booked with him. He has to reschedule the time frame but that was okay with me. When he came in he got straight to it. My carpets came out really well except for minor issues in my daughters room. There was two slime stains still on the floor. So i immediately texted brown with these issues. His response was a bit condescending. But hay see for y'all selves. read more

I highly recommend using Brown's carpet cleaning. I found them through a social media ad and then saw their amazing reviews here on yelp. The owner and his worker did an incredible job cleaning our four bedroom carpets and stairs and 3 of our couches in decent timing. Me and wife are still talking about how the carpet looks brand new! Made an appointment to get two rooms deep cleaned very disappointed with the service done. Once my carpet was dry it looked horrible and smelled like cats and dogs in the last room he did and I'm allergic to animals. I had to call another carpet company to do the work right. And the guy told me after 24hours the tiny red stain in my carpet will disappear like seriously the red stain is still there. I left a review on Facebook me and another unhappy customer and he said nothing just deleted our post. Smh! Worst carpet company I ever dealt with and I tipped well. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Don't be fooled by those pics they don't even use the same equipment they advertise. If I could give 0 stars I would. God bless! read more

Responsive &!efficient. Came back to check on deep stains. Definitely recommend their service!

I have mixed feelings about my experience. I requested a basic carpet cleaning for my bedroom, living room and hallway. I was satisfied with the price he gave. One of the 2 men Stated that I should get a deep clean since I had so many stains on the carpet. Which was a one hundred percent increase. I declined. The stains he was referring to was heavy foot traffic, coffee, crystal light, and red wine. So I'm thinking nah, im good it'll come up as it did the last time had the carpet cleaned. (Which was 6 months ago) all the stains except the crystal light came up which I was surprised about and didnt noticed until the crapet dried But ok The basic is too basic. I'm not saying they were rushing but they were definitely done with the carpet within 30 mins and done within an hour for the second part of services So $240 for an hour worth of work. I think not. The 2 young men who came out were very respectful and on time. read more

They did not do a good job on my chairs. I called and told the owner about the work his employee did and sent pictures. He offered half my money back.. I said I needed my chair done correctly and he wanted me to call the same guy back, that did a bad job. I called for the next couple of weeks after that, to get me chairs redone and he did not take my calls. I was not disrespectful at all; I just wanted my chairs clean, I paid them for that. I did not even bring up the mattress I helped his employee with to clean. if you are in San Jose I WOULD NOT recommend using Brown. The employee that covers this area is not good at Cleaning. read more

Did a great job on my stairs . I didn't think there was any coming back . But Mr. Brown made the impossible-possible. I highly recommend. And ONLY took 20-30 minutes . He also said if any really bad spots show up to call him and he would come back out. read more

Provided great service in a last minute pinch. Even left a football game mid-game. Very pleased with the results and tips. Thank you!!!

Omg! My carpets are 7 years old and light colored. They was very dirty! I thought I would have to replace all the carpet, however, I decided to try to clean them first. So glad I did. They brought my carpet back to like new! I waited to see if stains would reappear as Ive heard in the past. Not one stain reappeared. They did an amazing job. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because furniture wasn't moved in the loft (it was a heavy entertaining system) and once we moved it we had to cover that area with a rug. I will be calling them again to do the tile floor and get that unsightly patch in the carpet :) please note: no blame for not moving the furniture! I did not clarify that ahead of time so I also take fault in that! I will certainly refer to friends and family read more

So I sent a message to Browns Carpet cleaning, I provided square footage of the house, provided number of rooms for the quote and confirmed a time for the appointment after a price was agreed to. They quoted me $195 for a 2000sqft home, with an office, living room, family room, hallway 3 bedroom with master suite. Mind you the house is only 1550 sqft so I gave them an extra room for them to quote me. Day of the appointment, curtis arrives, at nearly 9pm (6:30pm appt) does his walk through and says " naw this is atleast $215-235 to clean. I said no you guys quoted me this much otherwise I would've chosen another company that quoted me less. Him knowing my deadline, he stood his ground and ended charging me $40 more than what was quoted. I agreed to it because it was already late and I worked the next day. While I was out in the hallway, he ended up using my freshly cleaned bathroom and splashed urine on the toilet and floor. I just had this house cleaned by a cleaning company for moving out. Why did this guy not use the bathroom before he showed up late to my appointment? Anyway, after the job was done, I had to walk through the house to turn off the lights because he didnt think to turn it off after finishing each room. I'm giving five stars because carpets turned out decent but, taking away 4 stars for being 2.5 hrs late, switch and bait on price and using my freshly cleaned bathroom without asking first and forcing me to walk on wet carpets to turn off all lights. Update: Business manager and I spoke and we worked out our situation and I am happy with the solution offered. I must add, Curtis did call me to inform me he was running late, but the timing was still a little bit off. This is something I can forgive due to situations beyond his control such as road conditions. read more

I called last minute for a move out cleaning and the owner was able to offer a cleaning almost immediately. The owner offered to meet or best other offered I got as he did. This guy was nothing short of an amazing life saver! We are getting new furniture and wanted our carpets cleaned. I called him today because his Facebook said he had openings throughout day! Nope!! This guy was working when I contacted him, but said he could fit me in around 7. He got super busy, called to confirm that he was a little behind but would be here. He came and changed our whole look! He was quick, professional and very appreciative of us allowing him to come. But I'm appreciative that he was able to come and I was able to support my own! Showed up late on top of rushing the job. Poor service. You'll be better off renting a carpet cleaner from your local grocery store!

This gentleman is very Professional and accommodating to schedules. I had to reschedule my appointment a couple of times and move the time around and he was very accommodating. Service was better than I could ever ask for. He lifted the pet urine stains and smell out of carpet quick and throughly. I moved into a new apartment and my puppy was potty training after about two weeks of being there I could smell heavy pet odor I couldn't get out. Brown's Carpet Cleaning got it RIGHT OUT! Carpets were left smelling fresh and brand new. I couldn't be happier and I will always use Brown's Carpet Cleaning service moving forward! read more

I requested an estimate on Yelp to have our carpet, rugs and couch cleaned. Mr. Brown was very responsive and he was the only one of the carpet cleaners I requested an estimate from who gave me an estimate online without having to come out to my house first. I find it annoying that you can ask for online estimates, but most businesses want to come out personally to give a quote. Who has time for all that?? For my busy lifestyle, I appreciated getting an online estimate. I was really impressed that they took weekend appointments. I work during the weekday and it's not something I looked forward to having done after work. Jessie came on time to our Sunday appointment. Although, he charged a bit more than the estimate, I didn't mind because he did such a fabulous job. I'm glad I found a reliable and professional carpet cleaning service.
