What happened next is why I will never go anywhere else, and why I will stand behind them and recommend them to ANYONE! The first two issues were fixed with no problem, but I had an issue with an expensive part. They verified and issued a prompt warranty part, which would be the end of it for other shops. The problem persisted, but instead of giving up, as most shops would do, they dug in. It took a little bit to finish it off as there were some other variables involved, but Jose, the manager and an incredible mechanic, and Aaron, the owner himself, worked with me to ensure that in the end, I was treated fairly. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to this establishment and to Jose and Aaron personally. I am a customer for life."

I was originally going across the street from them to another mechanic and when an issue was not corrected after a few times to the other mechanic, I took it across the street to Wes at Express Auto. After taking a look under my hood, he pulled me in and showed me the problem. He fixed my vehicle and it was very reasonable. He has been fixing and doing the maintenance on all 3 of the vehicles I have had over the past 20 years. I have since referred him to friends, family and clients. Sheeler Auto Repair has an excellent reputation so I called and spoke with Demytrius about my annual servicing. Since I use only Amzoil, Demytrius agreed to do the oil change if I brought the Amzoil in. I made an appointment and was out within 30 minutes. While waiting I met another client who turned out to be a long time customer. He couldn't praise the shop and employees high enough. I left feeling I had chosen my new shop wisely.

It says a lot in itself if I find myself on Yelp to write a review (and even then, unfortunately, I…read moream the one to leave negative reviews if I've had a horrible experience somewhere) so here goes! I may be young but I cannot even begin to explain just how many times I've been in a rut due to car trouble. My experiences at various places (both big corporate auto shops and mom and pop type shops) have always been nothing but awful. It's gotten to where when my car needs to be looked at, I'm left feeling traumatized and reliving all of the times I've been taken advantage of, belittled, or ripped off by every place I've been to. Seriously, a man at Pep Boys spoke to me like I was a 5 year old child and caused a scene in front if other customers when I simply asked to make an appointment for a tire change. That's only one of over 100 experiences I've had. So when Triple A told me I needed to get a shift cable replaced, I immediately went into panic knowing I'd have to brace myself for wherever I went. I'm born and raised in the central Florida area and moved to Apopka almost 3 years ago. There's multiple auto shops around but I'd never been to Sheeler before until now. I came in and was out within an HOUR. Sadly, as a young woman, I never feel comfortable going alone to auto repair shops (that's another story for a different day!). I've learned to expect the worst. But this was by far the greatest experience. Everyone was super friendly, communicative and respectful. On my way home I immediately called several friends (other single women who have unfortunately had negative experiences with auto shops) and recommended Sheeler. I will 100000000% be coming back for any issues with my vehicle. Thank you sooooooo much for being honest and friendly. Words can't begin to describe what a relief this experience was!

I voiced my concerns and told them I feel ripped off, but they refused to budge at all on the bill. Maybe this place is good for rich people with fancy cars, but if you are a regular person like me then do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Altamonte Springs Automotive.
