In the meantime, his shop personnel diagnosed the car issues (water pump stuff). We returned the next day to retrieve the vehicle and nursed it up the road to our home in northern AZ. Mike was very knowledgeable and I am SO GRATEFUL for his kindness when he knew I was frazzled and badly shaken up. They got some parts off (he had a friend helping him while I sat in a plastic lawn chair). It took most of the afternoon for them to figure out how to get the parts off. Then he determined the metal parts in my oil pan meant something was seriously wrong with my engine. He showed me a picture of my pistons & said that one blew up. He wanted me to leave the truck there. So I called AAA & had them tow my truck back home. By this time it was 8:00 pm. I had paid $169, including parts, including parts, up front. When I contacted him about a refund, since he had only taken parts off, he said he couldn't but would think about it later. Now he doesn't answer his phone.
