I am honestly baffled how Susan has a license to practice Psychology. I had seen her for over a…read moreyear when she was affiliated with an association of other practitioners, but after she had a falling out with the management there, she broke off on her own. Now that she is a solo practitioner, she has become rude and openly hostile about almost every aspect of our relationship. She has repeatedly ridiculed my religious family while I have discussed sensitive matters related to my faith, and she has repeatedly asked if I am a homosexual, almost in an attempt to manipulate me into thinking I am. She took my journal and will not give it back although it contains years of my personal thoughts and reflections. She has suggested hypnosis and discontinuing my medication, both of which my physician has vehemently opposed. She is openly hostile with insurance companies and refused to even provide me an itemized bill to send into my insurance so I may be reimbursed for my visit. After seeing Susan for more than 18 months, I cannot more strong urge you to stay away from her as she could quite honestly pose a serious danger to someone who is suicidal. I am not one for hyperbole, but dealing with Susan has honestly been the worst experience I have ever had in any field, let alone medicine. Avoid giving her your business at all costs and save yourself the trouble.

A profiteering quack, Halla was happy to provide a divorce court friendly evaluation for $2500,…read moreportraying father (Airline Captain and former Naval Aviator) in unfavorable terms, severely hindering his efforts to co-parent eight year old daughter. It was necessary for Halla to "invalidate" (his words) scores of the MMPI II and Rorschach tests - the only remotely objective tools psychologists possess - in order to match his diagnosis with his foregone conclusions. Halla, to complete his "Catch-22," suggested that prescription drugs were probably in order, and noted "subject would probably strongly disagree" with his 7 hour, single visit diagnosis because the FAA disallows psychotropic drugs and his professional occupation would be jeopardized by Halla's hit. Disgraceful.
