Judy Cormier Age 72 When I first came to Crossroads Chiropractic 8 1/2 months ago, I had several medical issues. A bad shoulder, Scoliosis, neck pain and occasional lower back pain were the main problems. When my husband and I met with Dr. Graham for my initial consult, we were very impressed with his knowledge, how professional he was and how he was eager to help. He also has a sense of humor, which we loved. He also will tell you whether he thinks he can help you or not. We were impressed with his honesty. It also meant a lot to me that Dr. Graham was willing to let my husband in on the consult and other follow-up consults and improvements. This helps my husband to understand what the issues are and the ability to see the improvements going forward. My husband is very supportive and this is important to me. My initial X-Rays, showed that my neck was misaligned and that my scoliosis was quite prominent. My spine had a definite U in it. Yes, it was shocking for me to see that. After the first month of adjustments, my husband noticed that when I now walk or stand, my shoulders are even. He said that, one shoulder used to be higher than the other. I had no idea that was the case. Wow! It was nice to hear that some improvement had begun. Dr. Graham took another set of X-Rays about 4 months later. This set of X-Rays showed big improvements in both my neck and spine. My spine was what wowed me. It was more or a C curve versus a U curve. I understand that my spine may not ever be perfectly straight again, but any improvements are good. However, it may continue to improve over time. Not in my wildest dreams did I think my spine could be improved, especially at my age. What's not to like? My shoulder is a lot better and flexible. My lower back pain is just about gone. I use my neck block every day to speed up the alignment in my neck. Even when we are on vacation. I have been getting my adjustments religiously. I have been to other Chiropractors in the past. There is no comparison between the way they perform their practice and the unique way Crossroads Chiropractic performs theirs. I will be forever be grateful for having the pleasure of coming here and having met Dr. Graham and seeing all the good he does. Leah has been accommodating, friendly and professional. I went here twice, once for the initial take pictures, xray, talk about the practice appointment and second time for reviewing everything from the first visit and figuring out a treatment plan. What I can safely say is do not go here if you do not like a timeshare sales presentation or a TJ Maxx adjustment setup. You might think I am joking but I am not. In the initial appointment, they first lead you to a room and put on a video around 10 minutes in length and have you watch it there by yourself before they come back in. This immediately turned me off. They also asked many personal questions on their intake form not related to my medical history such as if I had children, their names and ages which I refused to put down. I cannot recall now but there was a lot of other questions on the intake form that again were not medical and were totally not necessary for them to be asking. The other piece I mentioned above that is absolutely ridiculous is their literal TJMaxx adjustment checkout setup. It is like 4 or 5 tables in one open area that is part of the waiting room and they have a speaker that says "Table 2 open please" again just like the way TJMaxx does it. This is not a doctor's office, this is a business masquerading as a doctor's office. Last thing I will say, they wanted to see me 3-4 times a week to start which I felt is completely unnecessary and from what I saw in the adjustment area, they were just doing the same adjustment process for everyone and it was not tailored to the individual. Their treament plan is their business plan and they want to get you hooked. For context, I have no pain or injuries, I went to them proactively just to see if I could improve my health in any way and boy was the whole situation way too salesly, corporate and not focused on the individual. I have been to many chiropractors over the years and Dr John and Dr Brooke have changed the quality of my life for the better. Having had chronic back and neck pain for several years I literally had relief during my first visit. I have no words to describe just how much I recommend them. If you have pain or just feel generally less than you should, please do yourself a favor and get adjusted at Crossroads Chiropractic. I went to Crossroads on advice from a 3rd party. When at the location I found that the 3rd party's wife actually worked there..... I was in pain and was desparate for help. After filling out paper work, giving insurance information, had exrays taken and being in extreme pain which i mentioned. My next appointment was 5 days later. At this appointment, Dr. Stephanie never asked how i was feeling. I was adjusted in about an 1 1/2 minute time and handed a contract for 12 months. This amounted to over $2600.00 for the year. Well, I did'nt sign up and went home in pain. At diner i was discussing with family my desire to find another Chiropractro. My 11 year old son reminding me of family we know who frequents their chiropractor. I called them and actually found out their Chiropractor treats Dr. Stephanie. After appointment with him I also found that my problem was actually my pelvis and not lower back. I won't mention his name here but will right a great review for him. Also, when i asked for my exray's, they made me wait 48 hours. The law is actually 24 hours but then your pain and well being are not their priority.....advice....Stay away for Crossroads!!!!!! read more

I have been going to Crossroads for a couple of years now. I went to them because I was having severe hip pain, especially when I was running. After a couple of months, I was able to start running again. I ran the manchester half marathon this November and I don't think I'd be able to do it if I didn't have my routine with Crossroads. The visits are very easy and only take a couple minutes of your time. It's well worth it and I look forward to my weekly visit. They are also very flexible with the scheduling. If I find I have a bad day, I can call and come in for an additional visit without any additional charge. I would recommend them. read more

I've had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Stephanie and her team. She took the time to walk me through everything after I had a complete tour of the beautiful and clean facility. They took the time to give me a complete exam and answered all of my questions. Dr. Steph has great energy and takes the time to know her many patients. The surgeon was ready to wheel me into the operating room to put a plate and screws into my neck. Then I began having severe pain in my other arm so he stopped and had a consult with other doctors while I waited. It was decided that I could not not have surgery at point and needed to understand what was causing the other arm to be an extreme pain. The surgeon sent me for an MRI and canceled surgery for that day. I was sent home and they were going to reschedule the surgery. I decided I wanted a second opinion and wanted to try a chiropractor. I went to Crossroads Chiropractic in Pembroke, New Hampshire I consulted with Dr. Stephanie Mills. After just two weeks I was pain-free. I had an appointment with my Rheumatologist and he was totally shocked that I was in no pain and could move my neck freely. He then asked me for the name and address of the chiropractor. That was three years ago and I am still pain-free and I still see my chiropractor now once a week. Just recently my doctor diagnosed me with frozen shoulder and made an appointment for me to see sports medicine. I went to my chiropractor and explained what the doctor said and she helped me in just two sessions. I went to the Sports-medicine doctor and she asked me why the doctor sent me because she could not see any sign of a frozen shoulder! Thank you Crossroads Chiropractic. I went to crossroads chiropractic for about 3 months I won a free X-ray and exam from a raffle at my work and always wanted to try it... I was not impressed at all my first visit was great they told me what needed correcting and showed me my X-rays so I could see for my self. I was very excited to start going.but right away I was not impressed with there hours of operation I work first shift Monday through Friday and they had no appointments after 2:30 ... and then when I did finally manage to get in they take you very quickly not very friendly you get your adjust in under 30 seconds and done... they treat you like your cattle herding you you through... they mentioned in my exam that they were gonna give me exercises to do at home but evertime I asked they would tell me oh next time we will put it together for you and after asking 3 times and hearing the same thing I gave up. And they never accepted my insurance even tho I gave them all the info so I had to pay out of pocket and the price is insane... but anyway I was very unhappy and eventually just cancelled all together because it did not one bit of good read more

After signing a year long contract for monthly care, I do not get adjusted by Dr. Stephanie. It often feels like a conveyor belt - come in, get adjusted, get out. Despite the fact that I provide information on how I'm feeling, injuries I've had, ....etc, there are never follow up questions the next time I come (I go multiple times per week). I do not feel valued as a client at all. They don't even track where my spine is out of alignment during each adjustment. I see the notes - it's basically a cut and paste from the visit before. If it weren't going to cost me so much to get out of my contract I would see someone else. I really don't understand why Dr. Stephanie doesn't make it a point to rotate who she adjusts so that all clients have an opportunity to get adjusted by her. Very disappointing. read more

I was disheartened with my experience with this establishment as I saw it as a beacon of hope when I couldn't get rid of excruciating lower back pain that I had experienced for 4 years. Dr. Stephanie uses a one size fits all model for fixing back pain. For example, in the middle of my 9 months of therapy, I began responding poorly to treatment by developing intense headaches. When I expressed my concerns to Stephanie she responded by saying that this was normal. However this was extremely abnormal and adjustments should have been made to accommodate my particular injury. My injury and overall health were worsened because Stephanie and her colleagues failed to acknowledge my particular health needs. This type of treatment may work for some, but please take your time in researching multiple chiropractic practices to make sure that it is right for you. read more
