Dr. Sam has given me my life back. For the last 15 years I have been suffering from extreme back pain to the point where I was unable to walk correctly or at all. I had a pretty severe compression injury at the age of 10 (5th grade) and have been to several physicians with no real help. Only pain medications which offered temporary relief instead of long term relief. He's very caring and knowledgeable and he truly takes the time to understand what your body needs before adjusting anything. To start the process he showed me my X-Rays and explained the whole process thoroughly, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease. After my first adjustment I noticed immediate relief which I couldn't believe. Before every adjustment he takes the time to talk with you to see how you are doing and to see if there are any points that need extra attention. In addition to the back pain, I also suffered from migraines multiple times a week which I always believed to be genetic - as that is what I was always told growing up. I can honestly say I have not had even a slight headache since being adjusted about 2-3 months ago. I used to have chronic neck and shoulder pain. A friend suggested that I try seeing a chiropractor, specifically Dr. Sam. I gave it a try - 13 yrs ago back in 2001. I was shocked at how misaligned my body was. Dr. Sam adjusted me and soon I was living pain free. I went often at the beginning of my treatment and slowly decreased my visits as I was feeling great. Later on, due to health insurance coverages, I did try two other 'in network' providers. Let me tell you, Chiropractors are not created equal! I never felt felt completely adjusted except for when I saw Dr. Sam. I wasted valuable time and quality of life going to inferior providers. Lesson learned. I will only see Dr. Sam now. I have a tendency to put my neck 'out' now and then and nothing will help except a visit to Dr. Sam. I have been living in pain for several years from having spinal stenosis. I was able to get my first appointment the same week I called. Dr Sam explained everything thoroughly as to what my treatment would be and what I should expect from treatment. I was having upper back pain and was experiencing headaches almost daily. After my first adjustment I knew I had made the right choice. I started going to Dr.Sam when I was a kid with my whole family right after he opened Community Chiropractic. I have been out of the area for many years, but upon returning I had some nagging neck issues that just weren't going away. I remembered Dr.Sam and looked up the office, he was excited to see me again (remembering me after 15 years!) and was able to get my neck issues sorted out, through not just adjustments but help in teaching me how to be proactive and preventing them in the first place! His adjustments do feel a bit "rougher" in the beginning compared to some other chiropractors I have been to, but he is the only one who has ever made a long term impact on my health. My husband was having trouble with what he thought were his feet, and able to only use one pair of shoes, he kept on buying different inserts and nothing worked. His father recommended Dr. Sam, I decided to go with him, too. What a change! The problem was in his spine and now he can wear any shoes, and since he walks on cement floor all day long, it is a blessing. I also get tremendous relief from occasional back pain. Great office staff and Dr. Sam's approach to my treatment was spot on. I started seeing Dr. Sam after finding him as a participating provider with my insurance. I have been going to Dr. Sam Sanzone at Community Chiropractic for over 13 years. My husband and children see him for adjustments as well as many friends we have referred through the years.
