On 8/16/2025, I went to Valvoline (3452 Airline Drive) for an oil change. I have been a loyal…read morecustomer at this location for over two years. During my visit, the technician Monroe told me my right headlight was going in and out and asked if I wanted it replaced. I agreed but asked for the total cost of both the oil change and the bulb replacement before proceeding. Monroe assured me they had two bulbs in stock. He and another technician, Christian, attempted to replace the bulb but broke it in the process. Afterward, Monroe admitted that they actually did not have the correct bulb--despite previously saying they did. I submitted a claim with Valvoline, which led to a meeting with the manager, Morgan, three days later. Unfortunately, this only made the situation worse. Morgan was dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. He refused to acknowledge what happened--even though the bulb was working before his team broke it--and he would not reimburse me for the $20 bulb. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. As an African American woman, I felt disrespected, ignored, and devalued as both a paying customer and a loyal one. The way Morgan handled this situation shows a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. My warning: If you are a woman or a minority, stay away from this Valvoline location. They do not respect loyal customers, and management refuses to do the right thing when their employees make mistakes.

You pull into one of the 2 bays and shut down the engine and sit in your vehicle while they do their work. Things move quickly and their prices are comparable with any other oil change station in Bossier/Shreveport. I'll continue to use them in the future and if your needing your oil changed and see the sign for a Valvoline Oil Change location give them a try.

They are unprofessional and downright slimy. Do yourself a favor and use the Valvoline station about two blocks further north. Overall Take 5 and Chris are Trash.

After being directed into the bay, a person by the name of Kendi took over. She was very condescending when I questioned the pricing. I was then told I needed an oil filter and was told I would get a 25% discount on the filter. She also changed the grade of oil I had been using and then, after she had run my card, said she could drain it. I have never been treated so disrespectfully at Take 5. Mr. Jerome is a fair person. I regret that I will have to find a different place for my oil change.

The tech came in and got the 2 ladies from the front desk to go outside and look at my tire. They came in and tell my husband my tires were dri rotted. ( 2018 f250 250,000 miles) I do not sit still long enough to dri rot a tire. The tires were put on in April by Discount Tires in Shreveport. He has the tires chamged on the front. Come December, tire light comes on and pull into Walmart for them to tell me I had slashes all on the inside of the tire. I was leaving out of town so spare tire it was Took truck yesterday to Discount tires and those new tires they said were splitting due to being cheap tires. So 2 more new tires. On top of this as soon as we drove the truck we had to go and have the tires rebalanced due to entire front end shaking. Although I did receive my refund, I am writing this to for warn customers!…read moreThe first visit there my girlfriend got my oil change and everything went fine. A couple days later, my skid plate (plastic) came down! I thought nothing of it because I'm not familiar with cars. So I took it to my dealership and got it fixed (metal one now) ! I was happy that I had my oil changed and this place is literally up the road from my job so I took it back once it was time for another change. The guys were friendly and happy to answer any questions I had! Informed me about their products and services for extra bucks of course! Just awesome! Once the oil change was done I headed back to work (literally 0.1 miles up the road)! Once I got off work, I was headed home, and my skid plate fell again! Mind you my dealership replaced it with a metal skid plate so I'm literally dragging sparks down the road! I pulled over and DOT helped! Moral....make sure you have them recheck everything before you drive off! Make sure everything is tighten and screws are back into place! You guys do work hard, but to keep good reviews, take your time and make sure you've done everything properly!
