As stated on their website Danelle is the artist doing walk ins so we just stopped in to see if she was available. She happened to be working on someone else but was available in an hour so we left and came back a little later. She was great! So nice and very informative. I have another tattoo so I was familiar with the process but she provided 2 difference sizes as well as some background info about what she thought would look best as it was a thin line tattoo and I wanted to see all the details. I'm super happy with my end result and would totally go back. The shop was also very very clean and the girls at the front desk were super nice as well! They seemed really happy that I mentioned I was from out of town as they usually just get locals but that also did make me feel more confirmed with my choice in knowing they seemed to have lots of reoccurring local customers. Overall great experience!

There was 4 of us wanting to get stuff so we called an hour ahead of time to make sure there'd be time for multiple tatts and custom work and was told yes. So we drove over there, called again from the parking lot to make sure, were told yes there's absolutely still time, paid for parking, got in the building and talked to the guy up front who basically said that there was *not* time for us to all get stuff. We had actually made sure there'd be time to do custom and that's where he said that basically they would only do flash for the rest of the day (which is not even close to what we were told on the phone). Lowkey felt embarrassed bc I had bragged on this place so much going into it but we ended up leaving and having a *fantastic* experience at a different shop that we've now made our go-to. Might've just been an off day or a new guy up front, but that was lowkey cringe.

It's very important to me to have a positive experience with the artist when getting a tattoo because it's permanent and I don't want a bad memory on me forever. The shop is super clean, organized, and covered in tattoo drawings from floor to ceiling so you're able to look at cool stuff to take your mind off the pain. The receptionist helped me book my appointment and Nathan kept the piece within my budget. Nathan pumped out my tat in two hours (!!!) and I'm so happy with it. I can't say enough positive feedback about the shop and about Nathan. I'll be back again next time I visit Nashville.

It was a really laidback vibe, we appreciated that. Aaron was a cool and kind human being. He explained the process to us and honestly got the tattoos sketched and equipment ready very quickly. I want to start by saying the shop itself is great. It's clean, welcoming, and the staff working…read morethe front desk were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my experience with the tattoo itself. I do not recommend Tim Peterson. A friend and I came in for matching tattoos. Her design ended up being slightly larger than mine, but they were otherwise very similar. The quality of our tattoos, however, looks like they were done by two completely different artists--even though Tim did both. Within 3-4 days, I noticed part of my tattoo already looked faded and unfinished. I waited nearly a month before reaching out because I wanted to give it time to heal. When I contacted Tim, I told him I loved the design but felt part of it looked incomplete. He did not dispute my concerns when I showed him a photo of how the tattoo looked after nearly a month of healing and simply told me to come back so he could fix it. The problem is that I live over 4.5 hours from Nashville. Coming back isn't as simple as making a quick trip--I have to take time off work, drive several hours, and pay for a hotel. Despite staying in contact and trying to plan multiple trips, Tim never once mentioned there was a six-month deadline for complimentary touch-ups. It wasn't until I reached out recently about pricing for a friend who wanted a tattoo during an upcoming girls' trip that he mentioned his hourly rate is now $200. I then asked whether I'd have to pay to have my original tattoo fixed. That's when he informed me that because it had been over six months, a small touch-up would cost $100. Had I been told from the beginning that there was a six-month limit, I would have done everything possible to make it back sooner. But that was never communicated. This wasn't a tattoo that faded from age or sun exposure--it looked unfinished from the start. I assumed an artist would stand behind work that needed correction due to the original application, regardless of when I was able to return. His response was: "I'm not sure if you were under the impression you had unlimited time for a touch up. But unfortunately we can't offer that. If you were unhappy with the tattoo from the beginning I'd hate to solidify the unliked design further for you, and you may want to seek out another artist that works for you." Instead of standing behind his work, he suggested I find another artist to fix a tattoo he acknowledged needed to be touched up. That response was incredibly disappointing. I have several tattoos, and this is the first time I've encountered an artist who wasn't willing to stand behind the quality of their work. My issue isn't simply the touch-up fee--it's the lack of communication about the policy and the unwillingness to take responsibility for a tattoo that appeared incomplete from the beginning. If you're looking for an artist who stands behind their work and clearly communicates expectations, then do not book an appointment with Tim. I'm sharing this so future clients can make an informed decision before trusting someone to permanently tattoo their body. In my experience, I was left with work that appeared incomplete from the beginning and was then expected to either accept it if I couldn't return within six months (and was never originally told this time frame) or pay an additional $100 to have the original work corrected.
