I wish i'd read reviews first. First of all they charge insanely high for just a threading. I figured "must be good"... i dont think ive ever been so disappointed with a brow threading in all my life. I have naturally thick, beautifully shaped eyebrows. Went to them out of convenience and left with what my friends are calling "two Nike checkmarks". Like literally HALF the top part of my eyebrow is GONEE. I tried to tell the girl just a cleanup, i like them thick (i wanted to talk and explain myself a bit more) and woman shushed me, like she was annoyed with me, and motioned for me to lay down. Eyebrows shape your face and now i've been letting them grow out for two months and the shape is still patchy trying to grow back. I also feel un groomed, just not at all worth the visit. I've been to Brow Arc a handful of times and I have never had a bad experience. I am super skeptical and careful about where I get my eyebrows done. If I am displeased with the way they look, I let them grow out completely. I hate having to wait months to grow them back and having funky eyebrows in the meantime. Before Brow Arc, I would get my eyebrows waxed at nail salons and I have tried countless salons, each leaving me with regret and thin eyebrows. I lost trust in trying new places but a friend of mine recommended this threading place and I decided to give Brow Arc a chance. I am impressed each time I get out of the chair. Ultimately, I was so scared of threading but in all honesty, threading is not as painful as waxing and afterwards, my skin doesn't break out. The ladies were nice but they don't take direction. I asked them to just clean it up and give me a sharp angle. Then she left me with thin curved lines for brows. I also got henna which was terrible. She couldn't follow the small design from the reference pic and it was sloppy. I also got it two hours ago and it's almost off. read more

My eyebrows are the single most important feature I have control over on my face. I've been growing them and grooming them forever, and I finally had them to the perfect thickness. I went in for a "clean up," as the girl called it, and left with HALF OF MY EYEBROW THICKNESS GONE. They're basically pencil thin now. I'm devastated. I just got my brows threaded this evening for my graduation. I've never had it done before and I asked if there's anything I need to tell her or that she should tell me. She said no. I explained what I wanted, I only wanted the stray hairs off and I like my brows thick. I had been growing them out. I even pointed to show her exactly what I meant. She took everything off the sides, thinned them on the top AND bottom, combed the hair upwards and trimmed it with scissors and I did not want any of that. Her response when I didn't like it was "you should have told me" and "everyone loves the arch." I reminded her that I did tell her that. I reminded her that I even asked beforehand if she needed to know anything else from me. I'm now robbed of my brows and am going to look ridiculous for my special occasion and while they're growing in. They are way too thin and the arch is extreme. I paid for my service even though several people told me afterward that I shouldn't have. I did not tip however. She was very unprofessional and did not listen to what I wanted. She did not even apologize. When I got home and was attempting to fix my brows, I noticed that I am even bleeding. I am extremely unsatisfied with the experience. I will not be returning to this establishment and I will be informing others of the poor service. read more

I don't like writing bad reviews, especially for stylists. Being one myself I know clients can be hard on ones work. However, why hire inexperienced stylists? How long are they even trained? Apparently all they know how to do is make a thin line. ( that's literally all that's done... I let my brows grow and was sketchy about trying someone/someplace new. But I needed them to be done for New Years. Luckily I'm also a makeup artist and was able to make a fake arch.... I'm not satisfied and I told the b*tch before the process started that I didn't want them to be uneven or thin. I asked her if she does good work. She said yes. I mean I guess I should have expected them to lie. Not all stylists are honest with their craft. Honey find a new profession. Don't know her name and I honestly don't care either. Yes the service was quick, because all they do is thin it out. LOL I read similar reviews, still decided to try it myself... This is my favorite place to get my eyebrows done. Its upsetting that today i went in for a clean up and they completely messed up my brows. my arch is gone and she made them super super thin. And when i ask for a clean up i don't mean a whole different brow shape and take chunks out of my brows. My eyebrows look so different from eachother. My daughter made an appointment with Noelle but when we went Noelle wasn't there, they keep telling us that she's sick (really sick for two weeks). I believe Noelle no longer works here. So another lady offered to do my daughter's eyebrows, my daughter was trying to explain to her that she's trying to grow out her eyebrows but the lady wasn't listening and did as she pleased. She thinned out the eyebrows! Clearly this lady can't take directions. My daughter did pay her but only because I didn't realize the horrible job she did. Let me start out by saying I have been growing my eyebrows out for a year now just to get them thick and full! I walked in while my mother in law was getting her eyes checked and was only looking for a clean up, not a full eyebrow makeover, like I received. I saw Tara which I've heard great things about. I have been going there practically since they've opened. Whether inexperienced or experienced, they are inconsistent. I had been going to one particular person for 2 months and she did a good job, but on my last visit she did not. I have been to more than one person at Brow Arc and it's the same. I hate to give them a bad review, because i love going here for my eyebrows but I got a henna done three weeks ago, one from them (it came out completely lopsided and they still charged me $10 for it) and one that i did that myself from a kit i got from Michael's. the henna i did from the kit came out amazing, super dark and lasted well over 2 weeks, the one done by the salon, broke me out in a HORRIBLE ITCHY RASH. (I do not have sensitive skin at all!) Both the hennas were left on the exact same time and were in the exact same spot (on my forearm of both arms) I went into the salon hoping to get at least some advice as to what I can do, at the most my money back, I got nothing. All she said was "no, we've never had anything bad happen with our henna, no complaints" then she blamed it on the oil that they are suppose to put before applying the henna, that maybe i broke out because of that, and I told her that they never put anything on before applying the henna, and i remember clearly because they didn't even clean the area or wiped it down, which i thought was odd. I searched all over the internet and one of the most common reasons I found that could have caused this breakout was because the hanna paste was not fresh. Or maybe the fact that they didn't apply the oil before doing the henna... either way, the way this was handled was completely horrible and i will never be getting a henna done from here again. read more
