Hole in the wall place serving amazing food! Best Indian food I've eaten in the US! Simple and homely - just what we needed after being on the road for a week. We only tried their vegetarian fare and it was truly out of this world.

Feels like we stumbled upon a hole in the wall type of place here, although later realizing that there's so many of these dhaba style Indian restaurants around, I guess it's not surprising. They seem to have a buffet everyday, which seems to be usually the same stuff, and then you can also order off their a la carte menu. Came here a handful of times and tried a handful of dishes, all of which I was pleasantly happy with. Authentic taste, great portions, and good prices.. The only downside of this place I would say is that after every time I ate there, I would feel super heavy the rest of the day. Their food is pretty oily and heavy so just keep that in mind.

The food IS good. They raised their prices. There's no AC inside and it's extremely humid. They play the music obnoxiously loud. They don't hardly speak English, it's very hard to understand them. They have a slightly racist sticker on the cashier window against white people. I drove all the way out here from in-town just to realize they screwed up my order. If it weren't for the good food I wouldn't ever come here again.

This place is an absolute gem. If I could give 10 starts I would because it is that good. I have never come across a place that serves finger licking food at such good prices and you are served with smiles and kindness, politeness. This place deserves to be covered in media for selling such delicious food with the excellent service. I forgot to ask the name of Paji who served us but I can't forget the ever smiling face he had. He offered to have the chef make anything on the menu for us and I was wowed. We came here on our way from Grand Canyon to Vegas and I recommend all who enjoy indian food to make a stop if you are on route 66. I wanted to eat everything on the menu but that wasn't possible so we settled with two paranthas (mix and paneer). It was served just like it is in India i.e. with yogurt, pickles. Chaai was on point. We got mango lassi and kids loved it. My daughter finished all her butter parantha made specially for her and couldn't stop saying 'this is so good'. We ordered paneer makhni and parantha with it. Paneer was amazing as well. I will plan to visit again when ever I am close to Kingman area or visit Vegas. What a treat and the owners are too nice. Must visit.

THE FOOD HERE IS SO GOOD ! Highly recommend! I got the chicken tikka masala for 12$ YOU CANT FIND THAT NO WHERE. If you're not a spice fan. Please let them know. They didn't ask for a spice level. I also ordered a side of garlic naan. ITS ALL AUTHENTIC. Do not miss out !

Don't let this off the beaten path and looks of this aged truck stop building turn you away. The Indian food was as good as I've had in major cities. In fact the tandoori chicken not as dried out as most I've had. Rice was perfect and the naan bread amazing. Owner and staff are all very friendly. Prices were fair for our current economy. Parking easy. Ordered off menu to go but will try the buffet next time. Ordered 3 orders of tandoori chicken. Got much more than I expected. 1 chicken curry. 3 orders of rice 3 regular naan bread 3 garlic naan bread. Everything was good! Ordered too go and was all packed well. Easy parking and turning around for RV, long trailers, and just a few easy miles from Tesla charging location. Fuel prices at this location are slightly higher than few miles East but the convenience is worth it if you want to eat, grab snacks, and are traveling in a motor home or hailing. Of course it's very trucker friendly since the location is a truck stop.

The food is totally on point. Kudos to Chef Prince. That boy can cook. Check it out!

Imagine terrific Indian basics like naan, tandoori chicken and various curries in a gas station right out of the Book of Eli. But its true.

Somebody told me about this place recently and I happened to be in Kingman on business and tracked it down. I never would have found it except for a lottery guy who was in the gas station I stopped at to asked the cashier if he knew where it is. That lottery guy (a big, very well fed guy), knew right where it is and gave me good directions. Anyway, it's as authentic as it gets. I was the only white guy in the place and there was a bit of a language barrier. I say these things as good things because I knew I wouldn't be eating white people Indian food (to be clear, Indian as in the country India, not Native American). When I walked in, I was the only person there. I was hesitant to do the buffet because, we'll, it's a buffet. I tried to ask the guy to make something like he's going to have it for lunch, but failed to convey what I was asking. As I sat down with my awesome food and more people came in, they all had the buffet which made me feel better about my choice. I really don't know what else to say other than it's really, really good. Even the stuff that didn't look appetizing was good! If I'm ever near this place again, I will go out of my way to eat here.

As I was driving on my way to Oklahoma I randomly found this place while I stop for gas. I was hungry so I gave it a shot. Probably one of the best samosas I've ever had. It's a trucker pitstop for good Indian food they even have an all you can eat buffet for 11 bucks. It's not a Buffay like you think just a few items, but still worth the money the non-bread was really fresh and delicious as well. The chicken curry was a little too spicy for my taste, but still flavorful.

Fortunately there is a room with the menus and cash register that's brighter and not quite as gloomy looking. It's still budget dining but pleasant enough. Enough about the ambiance. You're not coming here for that you're coming here for Indian food. Everything was tasty the samosa, the black chickpea on rice that was perfectly spiced, and chili naan, made with little bits of green chili. Unfortunately it didn't have much garlic to go with the greenery, so I was disappointed with that. Wish I'd gotten the garlic naan. No saag paneer but plenty of other choices both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The latter are mostly chicken options, such as tandoori and tikk.i. Service was attentive and friendly. Five stars because this is Kingman Arizona and not New York City. A hot freshly prepared Indian meal really hits the spot after a day of driving I-40, or in my case the Oatman Highway, one of the more treacherous but spectacular alignments of old route 66.

First, this is the smallest buffet lunch I've ever seen. The chicken dishes (you guessed it, Butter…read moreChicken, Tikka Masala Chicken, & Tandoori Chicken) were paired with three vegetable dishes that change daily. Today, it was Alu Matar, Mushroom Matar Masala, & some noodles that I have never seen before. Of course, there was rice and the cook brought out a basket of naan seconds out of tandoor that was perfect. Also, while I got the last two pieces of Tandoori Chicken, it was grilled to perfection with a bit of char, yet quite juicy. The other chicken dishes were delicious. The vegetable dishes were spicy at the level of 3 on a scale of 0-10 and also quite delicious. I asked for water and immediately received a pitcher of cold water, even though it appeared that the cook was the only person servicing lunch. The menu offered a reasonable selection of "a la carte" items as well as the only Indian place in town (there are three) that offers a complete selection of biryanis. Definitely have to try the biryani next time. Attached to the Rodeway Inn, there are ten tables and about 20 chairs scattered in two small rooms. It is lightly decorated with Route 66 memorabilia due to its position on Route 66. Considering the high quality of the food and very small number of selections, the price of $12 for the buffet is quite a bargain. Closed on Mondays.
