sales guy was nice, helpful.. although the Nissan we drove way pricey. Above bluebook value. this car was claimed to have gone through inspection by their department. The car first thing I noticed while on the test drive was oil pressure was very low! No oil light indicator. I turned around brought it back and let the salesman know. he said the shop would look at it and repair anything further. He called the next day and notified me the oil pressure sensor was bad and they replaced the part. inquired about a loan for the vehicle and they wouldn't due to price of the vehicle. At this point the hard inquiry exists on a car they knew wouldn't be eligible for a loan due to the asking price. my first experience here and most likely my last. read more

Sadly, my car was totaled and I went to their car lot to see if they had a replacement. I took my F350 truck in for tire rotation on a Friday afternoon. I opened the hood the following Friday( I check my oil every Friday morning) to find the plastic cover for the top of my engine missing, it had been stolen. The truck was never out of my possession during the entire week. At my home it is parked behind my house, inside a locked gate. I live down a long private road. The truck is taken to work everyday. I park atop a log deck with only one road in, past where I've been cutting firewood. The truck is never out of my site and doors locked. The hood release can't be actuated with access to inside the cab. The only people to have access to my truck was the shop at Brookwood Auto Group. I did not witness the theft, as they had me wait inside while the truck was taken around the back of the building. It took over 60 minutes for them to rotate the tires (no balance). I called and spoke with David, the reply was, 'Not us'. I will be filing a theft report with the Forest Grove Police Department. read more

My daughter and I went to Brookwood to look at a truck for sale. We were leery of buying from a small dealership, but it turned out to be an excellent experience. We bought the truck for a very reasonable price and they agreed to several repairs. We scheduled to bring the truck back for repairs and paid at that time with a check from the credit union. This is where I thought it would be like pulling teeth to get the repairs done, but I was wrong. Sam, the manager (owner?), promised he would take good care of my daughter, and he did not disappoint. When she dropped the truck off for repairs, Sam set her up with an Acura SUV that ran great and got her to and from work. When she returned to pick up the truck, she found that they not only fixed what was listed on the purchase agreement, but installed new brake pads, shocks and did an alignment free of charge. I only post on Yelp if a very good or very bad review is earned, and Brookwood earned this review. If you like a vehicle they have posted online, don't hesitate to go check it out. Through chance came across a vehicle that I was interested in at Brookwood. Drove all of the way out to Forrest Grove from southeast Portland. Thank goodness for Google maps absolutely not familiar with Forrest Grove. Mike Cook took me for a test drive including taking the Jeep to a location where the 4x4 could be engaged. Through full disclosure he indicated that gas gauge was not operating properly and if I was interested they planned on the resolve by next day. Went back next day and purchased the jeep. That was last Saturday, drove it back to Portland and immediately took it to HID Systems and had the headlights changed to High def and drove home parked car in garage since it did not have an alarm. On Tuesday took to Stereo King for have blue tooth, am fm cd player installed as well as Viper car alarm. Took home and the following morning used jeep to run errands and when car stops at light it dies. Called Brookwood to advise and did not expect any resolution from them since I did buy it "as is". Pleasantly surprised was told by Nate to bring it in and they would see what was wrong. Found out due to battery being disconnected when stereo and alarm was installed that the jeep lost its base throttle plate position. Throttle plate was closing 100% causing a full rich condition which flooded the engine causing it to die. They cleaned the throttle body and reset base position. Runs great!!! NO CHARGE !!!! I can't thank Nate, Roger, Heather and Mike Cook enough absolutely did not expect the wonderful customer service I received. Would not hesitate to do business with them in the future and would highly recommend them to all seeking a vehicle. read more

We purchased our vehicle here a week ago. I am so pleased that it was a 5 stars experience. Sometimes buying a car can be difficult. Mike (owner) makes the experience anything but difficult. He will go out his way to get you into what you need. We have a kiddo at OHSU and our old car wouldn't make it up the hill comfortably. Not a problem now! Wonderful place! Very conscientious about their cars and ensuring they are in top shape. Friendly staff who do not pressure their customers. Even though they didnt have a car that right for us, they still stayed in touch about cars they were finding at auction that might work for us.
