When we first started a GR2, my older son was 17 months old and we LOVED it! My second son came…read morealong and went straight into GR2 at 7 weeks. We still loved it. Over the past few years, things have only gone down hill. My younger son is now 3. Not only did they not have a lead teacher in his room for well over half the year (leaving the adult to child ratio completely unacceptable), but my son continued to get in trouble for things that shouldn't have even been an opportunity for him to have done. For example, TWICE my son got out of the side door of his classroom and ran into the parking lot. Does he know better? Yes. But, he's 3. He was given an opportunity that shouldn't have been there. HE was reprimanded for it. Another time, he climbed on top of stacked nap mats. The stack was higher than I am and I'm 5'6". Again, he knew better, but, 3 year olds climb. He could have fallen and hurt himself. He was punished. Why was he not being watched when any of these things were happening? I emailed the CEO and expressed my concerns and told her honestly... if my child got hurt or worse due to their safety issues, I would own them. She didn't respond to me, but instead immediately called the center and "dismissed" my 3 year old. We've been there for FIVE years (Five EXPENSIVE years)and my son was dismissed because I sent the CEO an email expressing my concerns and she didn't like what I had to say. I do have incident reports and emails to back up all of my claims :) Don't send your child to Growing Room. If you want to keep them safe, send them elsewhere. Am I bitter? Yes. This is my child. But, I'm leaving this review to protect other children. Most of their staff is fake to your face and lazy behind your backs. My little boy goes to a new CDC now and NEVER gets in trouble... everyone there loves him. All it took was getting him away from an unbelievably toxic environment.

I tried to speak to the director about it, to see if this was the way they normally monitor their classrooms, and she hung up on me. My son didn't like it there, and if you are looking for a place that is safe, secure, and well mannered...Do not put them here!

I use to recommend Growing room to everyone. I believed wholeheartedly that it was the best place…read morein town. However after this experience I can no longer say that. You can read the incident report. What the incident report doesn't state is the truth the that cameras show. Veronica was standing right in front of my son as he stepped onto a chair and then jumped onto another chair and then jumped to the floor. He then circled Veronica to do it all again 5 times in a row until the chair flipped back and he busted his head. The other teacher in the class also walked right by him as he was jumping out of the chair on her phone. I have proof that the Area Director for Growing Room told me that she also did not feel safe with my son in Veronica's care. Instead of removing Veronica from the center they relocated her to another room. So she can now neglect other children in the center. They guaranteed me she would never be in contact with my son. I've been promised that before when walked in on a teacher snatching by his arm. That promise was never kept she was around my son many many times. Before she was fired months later. Needless to say I left there with my registration fees and tuition were reimbursed. Now I'm without childcare because they put a negligent employee before the safety of their children. If you child get an incident report from here watch the cameras!!!!

We have two kids and our oldest is now in kindergarten and she is well a head of her classmates. The teachers are wonderful! I have never worried about my kids care when I drop them off; they run into school and are ready to learn.

In the beginning, everything was positive and I truly felt that my child was safe and cared for…read more That sense of trust is the only reason I remained enrolled as long as I did. However, over time I experienced ongoing concerns regarding communication, consistency of care, and professionalism within the environment. My child was placed in another child's diaper despite my clearly communicating multiple times that he cannot use anything outside of what I provide due to allergic reactions. This resulted in days of discomfort and a rash that required care at home. Even after addressing this through their communication app, the issue happened again, which was extremely concerning. I was also not informed about classroom/teacher changes, and communication around my child's needs, including snack notifications related to allergies & it became inconsistent. Additionally, I became aware of situations where other children reportedly went home in dirty diapers, which raised further concerns for me about attentiveness and care standards. Beyond childcare concerns, I was uncomfortable with what I observed regarding staff dynamics. From my perspective, certain staff members appeared to be treated poorly and favoritism toward others was noticeable. I remained enrolled largely because of one particular teacher who consistently showed care, patience, and genuine love toward the children. These qualities clearly reflected in how the kids responded to them, yet I witnessed that teacher being spoken to and treated in ways that felt dismissive and disrespectful. Every family's experience may differ, but mine ultimately led me to withdraw my child. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, responsiveness to parent concerns, staff support, and hygiene oversight because these are foundational expectations when families entrust a center with their children.
