At first I was very nervous with using Skype instead of in person tutoring. But Carmen is a person that makes you feel very comfortable and soon you'll be great friends along with speaking Spanish. I started with wanting to learn to speak Spanish for medical mission trips. We talk about various topics and our homework has progressed in many directions from using audio - music, movies, dramas and news feeds for learning. as well as modern contemporary magazine translations such as people magazine in Spanish. I went on a mission four months after starting with Carmen and was able to begin speaking some Spanish. Now a year and a half later I'm understanding and speaking even more.
