    Small pepperoni pizza
    Janine S.

Holy crap!!!! We love our pizza and Brookside just made it to the top of the list. The sauce is INCREDIBLE, the crust is perfect...not too crunchy not too soft and the cheese blend is lovely. We keep a ranking of pizza places as my son is somewhat of a connoisseur. Brookside has just made it to the top of the list.

Brookside Pizza III is open in Concord, which is located inside the former F&P Pizza & Subs on Manchester Street. The inside of the place was totally redone with the very old school convenience store atmosphere eliminated completely. The counter/kitchen area was shifted to the back of the space with ample table seating and seating along the front windows for eating in. The menu offerings and specials are the same here as the other two locations in Loudon and Belmont. See the menu at http://www.brooksidepizza.com/documents/store1menu.pdf actual prices slightly higher. Slices are available until 4PM with specials offered 2 cheese slices & & 20 oz bottle of soda ($4 plus tax), 1 cheese & 1 pepperoni & 20 oz bottle of soda ($4.25 plus tax) and 2 pepperoni slices & 20 oz bottle of soda ($4.50 plus tax). After working late at the office, I was starving and I decided to stop by Brookside Pizza III for dinner takeout on the way home. I didn't feel like cooking. I was surprised to see that they had pizza slices (cheese & pepperoni) in the heated display case at 7:45PM since they usually stop serving slices after 4PM. I decided to enjoy 2 slices (cheese and pepperoni) with a 20 oz Canada Dry Ginger Ale ($4.25 plus tax) in house, while I waited for my Lasagna Dinner ($10 plus tax) to be ready. The warm pizza slices were pretty decent. The thin crust was very firm and very crispy along the edges, right amount of thick sauce, browned cheese, and greasy pepperoni. The service was very prompt and the lasagna dinner was ready in about 12 minutes, perfect timing as I finished the 2 pizza slices. The good sized portion of Lasagna (baked in an 8" round aluminum container/packed neatly in a sturdy plastic dish) was very filling and rich, which had 6 layers of soft noodles, cheeses, ground meat, smothered with lots of thick & hearty tomato sauce, and topped with browned mozzarella cheese. The side salad was very fresh, which had iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, red onion, tomato wedges, carrots, cucumber slices, and a kalameta olive. The baked garlic bread (8" sub roll slices) was very buttery. I had ample leftover lasagna and bread for lunch, saving me a trip to the Shell station for my usual lunch of gas station subs and pizza. Brookside Pizza III will now be a regular stop for lunch and dinner. (3.6/5.0 stars)

    Chicken finger pizza!

I've been eating Brookside my whole life, starting in the original in Loudon. I was so stoked to find one in Concord! Great food, my go to is the chicken finger pizza and the chicken fingers and fries for my kiddo. Prompt and friendly delivery!

Friendly staff. Good pizza always ready when promised. Yelp says good pizza is not a good enough review. Need more characters.

We were able to park close by and get in before the big crowd. Barley seems like a happening place. An upscale Irish Pub, for sure! The set up is a bar with a decent amount of restaurant booth seating. Of course, there were tables of different sizes available, as well. We were given a 10 minute wait after meeting with the Hostess. There was alot of activity around the bar and lots of drinks coming out of the bar well....always a good sign! When our time was up, we were quickly escorted to our table. We were each given a menu and a drink menu. Lots to choose from on both menus (see the pic below) I ordered the chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and my son ordered a Chicken Pot Pie. He had a beer and we both had water with a lemon. The food came rather quickly. I was immediately taken back when the caramelized onion was not on my sandwich. I was going to ask the waittress to fix it but it was far to busy and it was not a big deal. Of course, I would have enjoyed the onion but "no big deal". My son's Chicken Pot Pie was a good size and was thrilled with it. We both ate everything on our plates. Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either. We were thinking maybe people leave to get ice cream at one of the nearby establishments. 5-Stars Price: Fair Parking: plenty near by Vibe: perfect...I would like to watch a game, someday, at the bar Pepsi/Coke: Coke Would I come again? Sure...we enjoyed ourselves and the food and service was excellent

Nice enough place for families with young kids or 20-somethings looking to get drunk, but forget…read moreabout the food! Everything our party of four ordered was a disappointment, starting with an ice-tea cocktail that was undrinkable-- our nice waitress took it off the bill. My grilled salmon on a bed of rice arrived as dry as the Sahara, surrounded by burnt roasted carrots -- at least I think that's what they were. My husband's steak he ordered medium rare was also way overdone, served a block of with cold mashed potatoes. The overly sweet Apple Pumpkin Bisque (for $9) went uneaten after each of us tried a spoonful -- it was more like a bowl of pie filling than soup. Even the dessert, bread pudding with some whipped cream, was gloppy and unappetizing. This is a great place to go if you are fasting.
