I stopped to use the Western Union and waited and waited. They said they were busy but they didn't seem too interested

I understand that stealing is a problem. At just about every Walmart, But not with me!!!! So, I…read morehave OCD and go through the self check out so I'm able to bag how I feel comfortable, I haven't ever had problems with this. Until I go here. So.. I am checking out and not even 5 items in, I am greeted by an employee. Asking (more like TELLING) me I'm in need of help. I say no, I am fine. I am very used to GROCERY SHOPPING & can navigate it on my own. But yet she stays.... Starts going through my checked items and the bags I had aside , asking me to see the register to make sure everything was "actually" scanned. Then pushes me over and says she needs to do it for me. My total was like $700 or $650 around there. And when it's time for me to lay she like is breathin down my damn neck looking at how I'm possibly gonna pay. NY CARD DECLINED I was on my way from Austin to Denver, CO & my bank felt it was suspicious & needed further approval. So, I had to call & get it set straight. Oh man, when I tell you this lady was gonna have an orgasm thinkin she really caught on to me... HER PANTIES WERE WET MAN. & when it took longer than w seconds to get it straightened out she had 3 other employees around us. So when it comes time for me to swipe again they're all like sweating I swear. And I got the max amount of cash back that I could just to show that broke broad I'm not the one. & i hope to never see her outside of that establishment.

He likes his beer afterwork everyday and I order from HEB Curbside and he left his wallet in his jeans this morning. He went to pick up the Curbside order and they would NOT let him get the beer! We are Senior Citizens PEOPLE! We are Gray headed with wrinkles! You have just lost one of your best customers! You wouldn't even let me take a photo of his DL and send it to him for y'all to see it. Y'all should have his photo in your system already! Geesh! Ridiculous!!!!! Yeah I guess it's Kroger now! I'm so disappointed in HEB awful!!!!

There is no need to say how nice this store is and the ease of shopping it's been done many times…read more What I would like to say is how overwhelming today's experience was for me. I'm having a few health issues and you store manager and several staff came to my assistance. They made sure I was OK and gave me a bottle of water. Instead of a cart the manager requested an electric cart so I would be more comfortable shopping. I'm so sorry but i'm terrible remembering names but Pat as store manager comes to mind. Either way I have never in my life been so well treated by anyone and i'm 73 years old. This includes the young man that walked to my pickup with me insuring I made the trip safely. I live in Fort Worth but love shopping at HEB. I never dreamed this old geezer would be treated so well. Thanks again guys and gals job well done...

HUGE AND LONG-OVERDUE RAVE FOR H-E-B…read more I went to the H-E-B this morning. My beloved bride (also known as my domestic supervisor) slept late, but not before giving me a list of what to get. And in spite of the fact that I had a list, I still forgot a couple of things. In my defense, I can only say that I read lists just about as well as I read instructions or ask for directions. Such is life. I enjoy grocery shopping at H-E-B. I can't think of very many men who do enjoy that particular activity, but to me it's fun. Going to the H-E-B gives me an opportunity to "people-watch," something that I have done as far back as I can remember. People can be very entertaining. One morning, I saw two Tarleton students - male and female - shopping. What got my attention was the fact that the young lady climbed over into the basket with the assistance of the young man, and it was obvious that she was thoroughly enjoying him chauffeuring her around. About five minutes later on that same morning, I saw a young mother negotiating with her child, who was probably four years old. Frankly, I've never understood parents who allow their children to talk that way, but it's not my child or grandchild, and therefore is none of my business. This morning, I had a brief conversation with a beautiful older woman. I was getting a gallon of milk out of the cooler when I heard her voice behind me, saying "I just wanted to let you know that I'm right behind you. Would you please hand me a gallon of that milk? I hope me being this close to you does not bother you. I promise that I won't bite." I turned and looked at her as I handed her the gallon of milk and I said, "ma'am, I don't believe that any woman is beautiful as you would bite." She smiled, looked me dead in the eyes, and said "honey, has anyone ever told you that you are full of sh*t?" "Yes ma'am, I hear that quite often." She laughed, gently patted me on the arm, thanked me for helping her, and walked away. I love interacting with nice people who I don't know. I also enjoy grocery shopping because I get to see all of the wonderful employees that the H-E-B has. Unless they are on the Texas or FBI's 10 most wanted list, people like to be recognized. Whether it is by facial recognition (or even better by the sound of their name), people enjoy being recognized. They never fail to do that at the H-E-B grocery. They never fail to greet me by my name or with a smile or both. People like Shelley, Sean, Linell, Koran, and many others, whose names escape my memory at this particular moment in time. I've never had a negative experience with any employees there. It is obvious that they are selected very carefully for employment and then trained very well afterwards. I have actually had those employees woke up to me and say, "Mr. Hutson, are you finding everything you need today?" And if for some reason I can't find something, I can always count on them to either tell me where that item is at or find someone who knows. In an age where having pronouns is popular, H-E-B employees' favorite pronouns must be "sir " and "ma'am, " because they never fail to interject them during a conversation with a customer. I can always find what I want to eat there. Their trucks arrived promptly, and the shelves are stocked just as promptly. I often hear complaints that the store is still too small, and I suppose that it is true. I know that I have made that same claim to my beloved bride/domestic supervisor, who tells me to stop complaining and to just be thankful that they have a wider variety of items than they used to have before remodeling. I have also heard complaints that the parking lot is too small, and maybe it is. I think that it speaks to the fact that Stephenville is growing. Tarleton is at an all-time high with enrollment and it's only going to get bigger. I just try to shop early in the morning when there are very few people there. I am retired and I like to sleep late when I can, but I've got to shop sometime. I can control the crowds if the crowds are not there when I'm shopping early in the morning. The downside to shopping early in the morning is that there are not nearly as many people to watch. I guess you can't have everything. The HEB grocery store is managed by and staffed with ROCK STARS! I am sorry that I am just now writing this rave when I have been shopping with you for 25 years. I suppose that doing it now is better than not doing it at all, but I wish I had done it sooner. I'm sorry that I didn't. Thank you all of you not only for all that you do, but for making my life such an easier place to live.
