The water smelled bad here. There's a tv, soda vending machines, detergent vending machines, coin exchange, limited seating. There's no ATM in the building. There's parking behind the back of the building, as well as a convenient exit.

I usually stop here since the prices are reasonable. However, it has come under new ownership…read morewithin the past couple years. The laundry attendant is very aggressive. She's an older lady. The times that I have been there (on busy days), she runs around cleaning machines while they're in use. She HAS to sweep the floors on a busy day while you're using the machines. She also micromanages customers. I was sitting on one of the the old plastic chairs and had my legs crossed. She scolded me stating that people sit in these chairs and I should have my feet on them. Keep in mind, these aren't some plush, chic, fabric chairs. They're old, plastic, cheap chairs that can easily be cleaned with a towel and spray solution. She scolded another customer for sitting on one of the folding tables on a non busy day, and it didn't need to be used. Again, old equipment that can easily be cleaned. Due to this lady, I am never returning to this establishment. Unless you like being talked to like a child and scolded, I don't recommend this laundromat.

I'm starting to think that this place is one of those secrets kept within a neighborhood…read more Typical laundromat with washers, front load washers, dryers, change machine, and vending for various laundry related items. A bit drab inside, but it's not like you're going there to meet people. Opens at 8, closes when the last load is taken out of the dryers (sign says that last load in the washer has to be by 8:30 PM). Magazines lay around for you to browse through if you didn't bring anything with you to occupy your time. Convenience store right next door if you feel the need to get a drink, something to snack on or a newspaper. I've been here at different times on different days of the week and although there are not very many washers/dryers located in the building, there is never a crowd. I frequented the laundromat in Edgewood Town Center for a while but that got old because it was always crowded. Prices for the washers are the same as the one located in the center. $2 to wash, $.25 for six minutes in the dryer. Go in during a time that no one is there, and you can be out of there within a hour if you start all your laundry at the same time. Very convenient and kind of nice when not many people frequent the place.

We had a terrible experience with Northumberland cleaning and tailoring regarding some linen…read moredraperies. We took them in the first week of August and it took nearly 6 weeks for them to be cleaned. The draperies had metal loops that needed to be removed, and apparently their tailor was part of the problem. The people that I and my husband spoke to in trying to get them back to us were not very helpful, and all we got were excuses to various problems they had. Then the bill was $265, which is insane. I was out of town when my husband picked them up and he did not question it, which I definitely would have done. So, beware of this highly expensive and inept cleaner, and go elsewhere. Oh, and they also lost one of the loops in the draperies.

I hate to do this since the people working there seemed very friendly. But I had a few expensive…read moredress shirts washed and pressed there and I was very disappointed to find that (1) they usually write in permanent ink at the bottom of the shirt (but they were happy not to do this upon request), (2) one of my shirts was ironed incorrectly with most of the buttoned area folded onto itself (but they offered to fix this and have me pick it up the next day), and (3) there were large oval shaped indentations ironed into the bottom of each shirt, which they said were "normal" caused by the ironing machine they use. Other than that the shirts came out relatively fine, and the prices were reasonable, so its fine for your everyday business casual shirt I guess. I don't think I'll be coming here again though for any nice quality shirt.
