No where on the receipt was an option to tip my server. I asked how do I tip. He said you gotta tell me in advance. I said you should probably tell people that before they pay. I went back in to the restaurant and talked to the server. She said she barely sees any tips and only makes $2.13 an hour. Va law states $2.13 and tips need to be equal or greater than the states minimum wage. That's not happening. So I asked to speak to the manager to to let him know his employees arnt informing people to tip and there isn't anywhere to add it to the point of sale . He told me not to not tell him how to run his f***king business. So we got into an argument about human decency and taking care of employees and they kicked me out immediately. The little guy got in my face like he wanted to hit me. They also called me a dirty fat truck driver. They do not appreciate their employees enough to pay them correctly and do not appreciate truck drivers even though we are most of their business. I will be calling the labor board of Virginia To inform them of the unfair wages. These people are scum. I would avoid. Parking is $15 and the parking lot is at a massive slant. So enjoy sleeping with your feet over your heads. Slumlords of the truck stops. If anyone talkes to the sweet lady in the diner. Tell her thanks for me and I hope things work out for her!!
