I play Modern here every Monday and this store is a great place to play Magic: The Gathering. The tourney organizer, Ezekiel is friendly, helpful, considerate, and really cares about the people playing Magic here. He will wait to start if someone is running late and will work with the players to figure out proper judge calls. I believe he also hosts Warhammer 40K events too. The store itself is very well lit, maintained, and most importantly clean. We all know board and card game enthusiasts can be on the smelly/ less hygienic side, but this store is thankfully better maintained. The bathroom is cleaned regularly. The staff is friendly and helpful. They've always been nice to customers from what I see, and will regularly bring your order to your table if you're busy playing a game. All in all I couldn't recommend a better place to play board games or Magic: The Gathering.

As a black mom of two black boys - I love that the staff is DIVERSE - all colors and genders of the rainbow. Representation matters! I also love that they mix up the day with chess free play, board games, outside play and a movie with chess instruction. They are wonderful role models and are funny, patient, and engaging. This is the fourth year that my kids have been attending their after school and summer camp (since they were ages 4 and 6). This chess program has helped build their social skills, their analytic thinking and their confidence. Plus, the kids love it there; they say, "it's like going to camp in a toy store!" Also, any day that school is closed, they offer an affordable all-day chess camp from 8 am-6 pm that's so appreciated by us working parents.

I will say they had lots of really neat " toys " I had not seen elsewhere. Also, in the far back, they have two sets of the big drum game and four driving games. It was a nice surprise to find.
