I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from BROOKLANDS Motors due to their gross negligence and lack of customer service. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, severely impacting my business, personal life, mental health, and studies.
I reported issues with my vehicle, including high oil consumption and white smoke coming out, needing to top up every 900-1000 miles, which further led to the oil cap exploding during the first month of purchasing the vehicle. Following this, the engine management light came on. When I brought the car to the dealership, Craig assured me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. However, the problems persisted, and my car eventually required an oil change every 400 miles.
Despite multiple complaints and requests for repairs, BROOKLANDS Motors failed to take any significant steps to address these issues. All they did was awaiting for me to run out of my warranty.
The situation worsened to the point where I had to take my car to 3 independent garages, which revealed further issues.
Due to the persistent negligence, I have been without a vehicle for a total of 7 weeks. This has had a devastating effect on my business, resulting in numerous canceled meetings with clients, financial losses, and significant travel expenses from renting cars and using Uber.
Moreover, this situation has severely impacted my mental health. As someone who has been suffering from depression for the past three years, the added stress and burden have been overwhelming. I am a female and single parent with no family support, and the negligence of BROOKLANDS Motors has only exacerbated my struggles.
Despite my attempts to resolve this matter amicably, BROOKLANDS Motors has continued to avoid responsibility. I have now involved the AA, The Motor Ombudsman, the Hire Purchase Company and am proceeding with LEGAL ACTION to seek compensation for my losses and suffering, as I have substantial evidence of issues with the vehicle and extra expenses and losses incurred.
If you value your peace of mind, financial stability, and overall well-being, I strongly recommend avoiding BROOKLANDS Motors. My experience has been a clear example of their disregard for customer satisfaction and their failure to address critical vehicle issues. read more
