In less than 48 hours my mother was taken, by ambulance, to the ER for shortness of breath. I stopped by one week later to give them an update to find her room cleaned out & her belongings boxed up! We never rec'd written notice or a phone call re: "bed hold", which I am only now familiar with. Now the staff & administration are lying trying to cover their tracks because they did not adhere to the state standards and requirements. The food, when delivered to her room, was ice cold, inedible. The evening aide turned the a/c, in her room, to 62 both nights. That was the care she got overnight. I do not recommend Cypress to care for your loved ones.

I can only speak of my experience there and I was so thankful that they got me strong enough to go home. Also the family must stay involved with your care. At any nursing facility it's a must. The staff turnover is atrocious, the maintenance guys are massively incompetent, the social worker is duplicitous. For some inexplicable reason, they think having a meeting everyday is important, but they accomplish nothing so why bother? The only good things here are some of the nurses and aides and the psych guy. The food is horrible and I often don't even receive a meal. I've repeatedly told them I can't eat egg or fish and guess what? Yep, eggs every day and fish 1 or 2 times a week. The kitchen is incompetent and for food allergies it's dangerous and here's a hint: fish shouldn't STINK. This review should be no stars, but that's not an option so a 1-star review it is, but they should receive negative stars. There's no compassion, almost a pride in being the absolute worst. They blame shift, but the atmosphere and staff turnover is a reflection of management's absolute incompetence and the enshrinement of the lack of values and the deplorable conditions point directly at management. Don't let your ill loved ones be subjected to this malignant behavior. I have filed complaints with the State of Ohio and the Montgomery County Ombudsman. I will continue to file complaints.
