Every detail, from curriculum planning to fundraisers and school events, is thoughtfully planned with so much care and love. The staff genuinely wants to help shape the future of our children, and that meant everything to me when choosing a preschool. As a parent who values being involved and understanding what my child is learning, I can confidently say their communication is exceptional. You truly feel included and informed every step of the way. Having parents as part of the staff and welcomed into the classroom creates a strong sense of community and gave us such peace of mind when sending our child to their first preschool. I cannot thank the CPI staff, teachers, and families enough for the kindness, support, and care they've shown not only to our family, but to all families. This is a wonderful place to send your little one, especially if you value being involved in their education. I highly recommend CPI to anyone looking for a preschool. We look forward to sending our future children to CPI and continuing to be part of the CPI family.

The teachers are very loving and my daughter has learned so much in such a short amount of time. Just this past week I heard my daughter sing a whole song in Spanish and her teachers commented on how quickly she is picking up the language! Also, MCC offers additional programs that come to the school at an additional cost such as sports, ballet, music, etc. I enrolled her in the ballet class and she loved it, best part, the class was during school hours so I didn't have to rush to get her anywhere, just sent in her leotard/tights/shoes! They did a recital at the end of the course for parents to come and watch their progress. I could go on and on about MCC, I'm so glad I made the switch and can't wait to see how she progresses over the next 2 years before Kindergarten! Thank you MCC for taking such good care of my baby! Other pros: Very secure - you need a key fob to enter the building No TVs Learning at your own pace Loving teachers Diversity Cross-Cultural exposure I'm not sure why there are even any negative reviews, as a person/mom who comes from the Daycare industry, I'm very picky and MCC checks all the boxes. My daughter is also very shy and attached, but she goes here with no issues. I know if she wasn't being treated fairly I would hear about it and she would be throwing a huge fuss every day when I drop her off, but that is not the case. Sometimes it's hard for me to pick her up because she doesn't want to leave!

What I appreciate the most is the flexibility offered in order to meet every child's needs, and the kindness with which my son is being treated here. He loves going to school here and hugs the teacher when he sees her. Also, MCC has great classes all year round. We love the summer program!

There are seemingly endless options of schools in this area that you can send your child(ren) to, but very few, if any, will come close to caring about and investing in your kid(s) the way the teachers at Phoenix Nova do! Our son was a year behind after attending another private Christian school in Fairfax, but Dr K and Dr Frank got him up to speed and he passed the CAT for entry into the next grade. Their selflessness and investment in this school and its students is second to none!

I begged to be let into public school like my neighborhood friends the last three years of elementary school and even as a kid I was blown away by how much better the local public school was. You would think a private school would have more resources than a public school but this is not the case in Fairfax County where our education system is ballin. Many many many moons later, I had a friend who enrolled her kid in a private religious school and ended up moving him to public school a year later for the exact same reason I stated. The one thing that was awesome / appalling about St. Tim's was their utter disrespect for healthy school lunches in the 90's. They literally would cater our school lunches from McDonalds, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Oh memories.

We love Epiphany Preschool and are about to enroll our third child. I highly recommend Epiphany…read morefor all kids because of the expertise and passion of the teachers. I love nature based education for my kids and our family. I love the way my son's imagination and capabilities skyrocket from his time at epiphany. When the giant snow storm came and the kids in the neighborhood all went inside, my son played for hours. Epiphany had taught him to put on the right gear and how to stay warm. But I recommend it to anyone, because I am so impressed by the staff. Jason and Amanda have built a community that really cares about the children, families, and staff. They go above and beyond other schools in the area ensuring safety inside and outside for this community. They are creating a space most higher level schools and even employers haven't mastered to help our natural environment help give us tools to be more resilient and adaptive and even find more joy in life. They have created a team with incredible credentials and experience paired with passionate energetic newer teachers. I realized a few month after sending my two oldest, that every teacher knew who my kids were. The whole campus really cares about each other and helps each other's passions grow. I thought our son found the perfect teachers for him as a Sparrow with Ms Araz and Ms Nancy matching his energy and enthusiasm. And then he became a Cardinal and Ms Melanie and Ms Shannon have matched him perfectly where he is developmentally and now he is making up songs every day. Our daughter became more confident in her own strengths in the Hawks class with Ms Wendy's support and Ms Heathers ability to match each child's individual entry points and the best method to take the next steps. Due to moving from Atlanta, this is our third preschool experience and Epiphany has the spark of magic I want for my kids. The community events help me reflect on the changes in nature and the joy of friendship. The staff have this ability to remember all that each young child holds most precious, while also having the patience to get them dressed in the right gear for all the different weather. (The gear is important, but they give great lists to help parents be prepared and we've been able to get almost everything on Buy Nothing from our Neighborhood group so it hasn't added extra cost.) My kids are both more practical and more imaginative from the time at Epiphany. I am grateful for the space for kids to really get to be who they are and fully seen. I have loved getting to know other families and finding support as we all figure this out together.

The staff feel like a family -- and they have a knack for nurturing social skills, problem-solving, and have a contagious deep appreciation for nature. I complained and requested that he never be alone with her. Additionally the CSS principal is either uncaring and incompetent. The school has had budget cuts and no longer had a full time psychologist for the CSS kids. Instead they've hired very poor IAs and a woman who worked in law enforcement.
