Excellent, caring, professional staff and educators. Students are happy, engaged, and seem to love to learn.

All three of my daughters have attended Pender Hill Preschool and we have very fond memories of…read moretheir time there. We have formed long lasting friendships with both the staff and other attending families. They have put a lot of heart and effort into cultivating an environment that IS FAMILY! The teachers are warm and loving, and you really feel like you are putting your child in the best of hands during their time there. The kids get plenty of socializing, playing, practice with fine motor skills, learning their letters, months, numbers, seasons, etc. The list goes on and on. The children get music class, science lessons, library time. I mean, it's the perfect prep for elementary school! They also have a couple of wonderful programs that other preschools don't often have. A Mothers Day Out program for the one year olds that give the kids some fun time with friends and the Moms some much needed time to get errands and appointments in! They also had an extended day option that was available on some days for some of the ages that gave them an extra two hours of time there. If you live in this area and you want your child to have a wonderful preschool experience, please call to schedule a visit!

He was able to learn, socialize and have fun all during Covid with mask and all. My son also has food allergies (pre-covid) and the school is allergy aware having kids keep good hand washing hygiene and good communication with the parent regarding food activities and parties. My daughters is attending here and will be here for one more year before she starts kindergarten. The kids have time to get use to procedures and attend specials such as library, science, and, music. All of the activities they enjoyed here got them excited and ready for kindergarten.

Saint Timothy's is a phenomenal school! We've been a part of this community for 11 years, and as…read moreour twins get ready to graduate 8th grade, we couldn't be more grateful. The teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated, and the faith-based curriculum has allowed our 8th, 6th, and 3rd graders to truly blossom. The academics and community atmosphere just keep getting better. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing, Christ-centered education!

I went to St. Timothy's from 1990 - 1994. While I really enjoyed the religious aspect of the school…read more(their religion classes were top notch) the educational portion of the school was questionable. I begged to be let into public school like my neighborhood friends the last three years of elementary school and even as a kid I was blown away by how much better the local public school was. You would think a private school would have more resources than a public school but this is not the case in Fairfax County where our education system is ballin. Many many many moons later, I had a friend who enrolled her kid in a private religious school and ended up moving him to public school a year later for the exact same reason I stated. The one thing that was awesome / appalling about St. Tim's was their utter disrespect for healthy school lunches in the 90's. They literally would cater our school lunches from McDonalds, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Oh memories.
