But my wife, who was a former client of Andrea's raved about the service and the results. And so I decided to give it a go, and I'm really glad that I did. Andrea is a joy to work with and a very cool human being. She is an expert at assessing the person, understanding their tastes and needs, and walking through the process. Great communication, too. The result is that I have a wardrobe that I really like (it feels like "me"), my wife thinks I look great and I'm getting complements at work. I also understand which colors are my friends and which to avoid. And for the first time, I would dare to say that I have adopted a sense of style. Only took 50 years :) Andrea is a pro, and what she offers is a true life upgrade. Do yourself a favor and give her a call. And this would be an extremely cool gift for your spouse or a friend in need of a little bit of "help". Thanks, Andrea. You're awesome.

Jen is a Partner Stylist with Edit by Lauren. She came to my house for a one hour closet consultation. And whoa - this girl is GOOD! In our one brief, fast moving hour, she pulled together 21+ new outfits from the clothes in my closet that I would never have thought to put together, complete with shoes, accessories, and purses. Later in the day, I received a personalized photo collage so I could remember the combinations and the next day I received a shopping list, complete with online links, so I could get the few pieces I need to extend my wardrobe and make the clothes I have go even further! That was four days ago and I've never felt so fabulous! Each day it is so fun to pull out my pictures and get dressed with confidence. And my husband is a huge fan - it didn't require any new clothes to get 21 new outfits. He said I should have her out quarterly. I can't wait! She was fun and professional, incredibly encouraging - which is important when dealing with something so personal as someone's clothing - and she even helped me figure out how to wear a boxy, too-big-for-me 1980's Benetton sweater because she could tell I loved it and didn't want to part with it. I walked into our consultation needing guidance on how to put together a polished and approachable look. She delivered that and more. Her demeanor is warm, friendly, down to earth and fun. During our meetings I felt like I was chatting with a friend :) She is compassionate and understanding of the struggles I felt about my body. Society isn't kind to women with curves and as someone who struggled with eating disorders her whole life, I had been beating myself up about my appearance. She approached those concerns from a loving place and has helped me look at clothing sizes in a more healthy way. In an industry that typically shames women for their "inadequacies" Thea helped me feel good myself. I love my color wheel and it's already proven so helpful during my most recent shopping trips. The color analysis alone is a smart investment in yourself because it enables you to successful select clothes/accessories that truly compliment you and get you the most bang for your buck overall. I also did the body consultation and learned so much about what types of clothing works best on my figure. She created a lovely book for me to use as a guide and I adore it! I always like to have a little self-improvement project going on in my life, and since I've just moved to Austin, and a lot of things are correspondingly very new for me, I thought it would be a great time to focus on the way I present myself, and project my personality, to others. Consulting Thea was, for me, the right choice. Hands down. The Service: Thea has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She reaches you with a seamles blend of professionalism and warmth. Her passion for style is visibly apparent, and her enthusiasm for helping you look your best is contagious. The Product: I love my color fan, and I take it everywhere with me - it's beautiful, first of all. On the more practical end, it's easy to use, and Thea has helped me to understand why certain colors work better than others, and how to use them, and what to look for. My style guide is detailed, personalized, and easy to use. Finally, the clothes I've bought with Thea..... well, I'm beyond happy with this. She takes the time to get to know you - your personality, your lifestyle, your goals - and she uses this to customize your shopping experience. In the clothes I picked with Thea, I don't feel like someone else dressed me. I feel like someone else guided me toward what I really wanted and needed, but never would have found on my own. The Bonus: I've learned so much about myself in the process.... so, if you really embrace the process and open up to it, you're really working on yourself both inside and out. Best of luck!
