Wife and her friends went to the adult Easter egg hunt tonight. Everyone was supposed to be guaranteed 12 eggs. My wife got 2, and coworkers all got between 1-4. Multiple people in the fields with big buckets and multiple bags full. The place where you turn the eggs in didn't care at all about this. Pointless activity when no one follows the rules. Our friend group was excited to try BF's Jingle Joint Pop Up Christmas event and were disappointed. Having never been on the property before, there is hardly any signage that stands out. Maps will lead you to a bldg thats clearly not the barn which is across and down from this location. Once we figured out where to go and got inside, the setup was cute. Our tickets were not checked so I feel like just anyone could have walked in yet it says make reservations. We had no issues getting a table because literally no one was there. The way its advertised was is always sells out. Not true! Food is finger foods made to order. We did not have any of that but we all did get drinks. I got the Grinchmas punch which reminded me of a Malibu drink. Others got the bourbon drink and boozy hot chocolates. It advertises fun. Barely could hear the Christmas music playing, but no games and even the staff seemed to not want to be there. I asked if we could maybe do karaoke, they said no microphone. I said any cards for games, no cards. No working wifi either so couldn't get the phone to do fun. Tickets were $15 a piece and honestly it should have included the drink or something. We love visiting Brookdale Farms for their fall festival/pumpkin patch event! The property is huge and there's lots to do- hay ride, pony rides, pumpkin shoot, sunflower maze, corn maze, bounce houses and slides, petting zoo, and food and drinks. We love the variety that they offer and how you can spend a whole day there. I do think tickets and food and drinks are pretty overpriced, but we do enjoy our visits there each year. read more

We came with seven of us. Three adults and kids. When you park the gravel is very hard to get through with your strollers wagons etc. you check in at a blue tent which is pretty quick. There is face painting, pony rides, a jungle gym, bags, some food, bull riding and tractor ride for kids. Then you take a tractor to the other side where there are three bounce houses, a corn maze, hay maze, one food booth (they ran out by 5pm), a jumping pumpkin (like a trampoline park but one area, horses you can pet, a field so you can play with puppies, donkeys and goats, pumpkin shooter and a small area to pick pumpkins. It is very spread out so takes some time but I wish they had more activities especially for the little as we had two under two. It sound like a lot of activities but really there isn't. The pumpkin shooter, pony rides and bull riding cost extra on top of the pass as well. read more

We came to Brookdale Farms for the first time for the Easter Egg hunt. Parking and check in were pretty easy and we were given instructions for our age groups. The egg hunts are short (as most are with kids rushing a field) and then there is a lot of waiting in between to announce prizes and do the next age group. It would be nice if there wasn't an hour in between groups next year for parents who have kids across multiple age groups. I was thankful there was play equipment to keep them busy in between. The food options didn't have a lot of variety and it was very expensive for lunch. read more

We usually go to Brookdale farms every year and bring our kids so we can create memories that will last a lifetime! The ropes course and playground are always a hit. The huge bounce pad was perfect for my boys! The area where we got to go in and pet the goats was special! The little maze in case we didn't want to do the big one....the hay ride...and multiple other attractions were just stellar! Our entire family enjoyed ourselves! We are also incredibly thankful to Brookdale and their staff because I had left my water bottle (that is meaningful) over on the other side of the farm and it was going to be a hassle to get back on the tractor and ride over. My husband called and told them what happened and about 10 min later a man came and found us on his four wheeler and gave us the bottle! They truly went above and beyond and we are incredibly thankful!!!! read more

We attended the Adult Easter Egg Hunt this year for 2026. Parking was fast and easy as we arrived promptly at 6pm. Our tickets were a little disheveled but they figured them out quickly. The ENTIRE event was a scam! The egg hunt was fun (30 mins late), our food was price about food truck pricing but the drinks... OMG $9 for a 12oz beer!!!! That is worse than the ball park, $14 for a mixed drink, at one point I asked for a bucket and they just handed me 5 beers (Rude) $44 total with tax. There was NO extra tickets in the eggs, there was no gift cards in the eggs (This was promised on their Facebook Web Page), all that was in the eggs was extra passes and candy.... what adult wants candy?... it was cold and they did not put extra fire pits out until 9pm.... we all left at 9:30. The DJ kept playing so people would eat and drink more but we were all too miserable to put up with those shenanigans. All and all it was a terrible experience. read more

The person operating the produce stand said they buy from local sources only which probably means local farms and local produce warehouses or even grocery stores. My friends and I had a really fun time on our float trip with Brookdale Farms this past weekend! We started by meeting at the Brookdale Farms float trip parking location. The area had plenty of clear signage, so it was easy to find where we needed to park. There was a small stand where we checked in and customers could purchase drinks, snacks & merch. One complaint we had is that the stand was closed when we completed our float. We were going to stop by and grab a tee shirt on our way out, but they had closed up shop. We then hopped on a school bus and took about a 10-minute drive to our river drop-off location. The bus driver was driving so fast I was starting to get motion sick on the way. Luckily it wasn't a far drive. At the drop-off location, we grabbed our floats and rafts. They also had rafts for large coolers which was awesome! I recommend purchasing a cooler raft and packing up drinks & lunch to enjoy on the float trip. The staff was friendly enough and kept emphasizing that we needed to keep an eye out for their Brookdale Farms sign to come in at the end of the float trip. They said if we missed the sign, it would be another 2+ hours to reach the end of the river and we would have to find our own transportation back to our cars. I'm glad they emphasized it so much, but it was difficult to climb out and get back to land once we saw their Brookdale Farms sign at the end of the float. I would recommend that they have a staff member there waiting to flag people down and help them get out of the river. The float itself was wonderful! It was so peaceful on the Meramec River. We were able to use some life jackets to connect our party's floats and rafts together. Overall, we had a really nice time and I would definitely go back for another float trip! read more

Good recommendation by staff on stopping often. Staff probs could have emphasized the best sandbars were after the bridge (polled other boats who agreed b/c my boat could be the one off not paying attention. Staff was trying to get us off and there was a large group. I'm sure that's stressful). Also, the website said float is usually 3 hour and it took us 8 hours b/c we stopped. Their "Field of Nightmares" was a lot of fun. We have been to a lot of the haunted houses in St Louis. This one is second best haunt out of ALL of them. I'm not just saying that to support a small family business. It was well done! Because of the nature of the corn maze, the workers could come out of more unexpected places. A lot more jump scare opportunities. Caught me by surprise a few times. There is a part that squeezes you tightly that is really cool and unique. Reminded me of the people getting digested in the movie "Nope". My wife and mother in law also thought it was fun. They use a tractor "hayride" to get you to the beginning of the maze. We were the only three people on it. Not too bad at all! Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are clean Porto-John's. Just go before you get to the farm if you don't like the idea. Lol It is outside and weather dependent. But I highly recommend going even if it's "just cold". It was cold tonight. We wore basically winter clothes and had no issues. Went for photos with their Sunflowers. $5 cash only per person, collected before we parked, in grass near their sunflower "maze". Their money collector seemed tired, like she didn't want to be there -- maybe the heat was getting to her. $5 per CAR would have been worth it, but $5 per person was not. FYI only cameras, no stands, no external lighting allowed for that fee. Photographers have to reserve and pay a high session fee. Glad we tried it once but we won't go back. read more

What a scam! The adult Easter egg hunt tickets were very pricey to start. But they gate kept the area for the hunt so you had to wait in an hour long line to take a tractor to the field instead of a 5 minute walk across the street. Because they forced us to take the tractor, at LEAST 150 people were left waiting in the tractor line while hundreds started the hunt. By the time we got over to the field, all of the eggs were gone. We paid $30 each to have the worst tractor ride of our lives only to leave empty handed. There was no limit to the amount of eggs a person could collect which left nothing for over well over 100 people. This was the most unorganized and failure of an event I have ever attended. After all of this, a member of my group posted on their instagram and the comment was deleted. read more

Glowdeo review, horrible! Had to walk a mile over gravel roads or walk in field with divets all over. They are lucky no one is suing them for twisting an ankle. No paved area to walk the mile on. Had on western booties, which I was going to a rodeo so who would expect that was a dont. Get there and it did say bring lawn chairs but thought that was only for the balloon glow, not a single place to sit to watch the rodeo and even if we had brought lawn chairs would not be able to see in a lawn chair. Got way overpriced food and guess what, not a single place to eat food either. This was so poorly planned it makes me sick I spent $90 between tickets and food. It's a big NO for me. Would NEVER go here again and could not recommend to anyone. read more

A decent spot for a short, cheap, float close to STL! It took us around 3 hours to finish. We stopped a few times and the river wasn't moving too fast. I will say the staff is certainly not the friendliest group of people but they were informative and got us from point A to point B. I would also agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if the staff helped you with the raft at the end because once you see the flag you have to cut across the river while the current pulls you the other way. One in our group lost her phone while trying to help pull the raft to the shore and the staff members just stood there watching us struggle. read more

After having visited Brookdale, Theis Farm, and Eckert's, I can confidently say this is the worst of the bunch. Biggest problem is bees everywhere. You can't get away from them. Trash cans are surrounded by them, the food areas are full of them, etc. If you buy a snow cone, they give you a $3 cup of shaved ice and they send you around to the side of the building to do your own syrups. The syrup bottles are covered with dozens of bees. flying around them, walking on them, even walking into the spout to eat the syrup. The "petting zoo" is a bunch of animals locked into tiny cages where they just barely have enough room to turn around. Horses, camels, llamas, pigs, and miniature horses are just locked in, surrounded by poop and mice. It's really depressing. As for the rest of the place, it's completely unremarkable. The "hay ride" is a tractor ride with nothing to see except poorly kept storage areas. The shop is pathetic. The corn maze was full of stalks that had fallen down and no one had been through in some time to clean up the path (and this was only Oct 3, at the start of the season). The "pumpkin patch" is just pumpkins lined up on the ground. I don't even think they grow them there. Save your time and money and go to Eckert's. We'll never go back to this place. read more

We took a group of about 170 kids to the farm today and it was amazing. The staff was very helpful, patient and friendly. We had to shorten the day due to the heat and they accommodated our revised schedule with no problem. Our kids had a blast on the low ropes course and enjoyed the large yard games and riding the cow barrel train. My spouse and I were walking along The Mississippi River by the St. Louis arch when we saw a horse drawn carriage. I went to take a picture with the horse "Odin" and the young blonde woman working on the carriage offered us a ride. I replied "no, I feel bad for the horse". She then said "you have no business talking to me or petting the horse then, this horse works 4 hours a day.. etc..etc...etc..." I had no intention of starting an issue and I just did not want to be carried around by a horse. This woman started an argument in public with me for no reason and is an embarrassment to your company. She was unbelievably rude. read more

This farm is so poorly lit you can barely see where you're going. Our private hayride was "rain or shine", but the rest of the farm was closed due to weather. Suggestion: If you are closing your business, close it completely. The signs stating, "Private Hay Ride" would lead you to believe that's where you should go if say, you had indeed booked a private $200 hayride. But no... we were supposed to park in the unmarked lot (or not visibly marked lot on a dark & rainy night) behind a locked gate. Suggestion: Post signs that clearly indicate where your customers should park. (And light them if you have after dark hours.) There was one employee on duty who let us in and drove the "hay" ride (no hay), and after the ride he was never seen again. We were left with no employees to help us send away the numerous customers who showed up to our private event. Suggestion: post on your social media platforms that you're closed due to weather. Suggestion: Have "closed" signs at your entrance. Had it not been for the fact that we overheard the gate code, the rest of our party wouldn't have been able to get in. The gate also closed after we were in and didn't open each time a car approached to leave. This business is poorly run, overpriced, and every table was disgusting. Outside of the "ride" in the back of a truck in the dark on a rainy night... this place offers less than a city park in the way of amenities and services. 0 stars. Would not recommend. read more

Every event we've attended so far has been done well. From canoeing to haunted mazes to attending weddings, we've had great service and made some fantastic memories. They are also very supportive of the communities around them. They've donated time and resources during times of natural disaster(floods), helped neighbors during the Covid shutdowns and cleared debris and overgrown plants/weeds/grass in under-served areas like Kinloch. Generous and kind are just two words that come to mind. So glad this little gem is so close for us to enjoy. Looking forward to see what the future holds. read more

I had such a horrific experience that it took me awhile to let my emotions settle and decide if I wanted to give a review. But when I think about the danger my friends and I were put in I feel everyone should know of our experience. My cousin has been here multiple times and done the same float that we "signed" up for every time. It is a 4 mile, 3 hour average float, in a tube (says so in the photo below which is also were you hit "book it"). It was the first float of the day on July 4,2018 @ 9:00am. We rode the bus out, jumped out and were thrown tubes, normal. We were told we would exit one mile after the bridge, cool. Noon rolls around and no bridge, 2:00pm rolls around.. no bridge. We should have absolutely been done by 1-2pm. Started asking people on the river where the bridge was, they told us "of hunny, you aren't even half way!" Then we find out from some people that were on the same bus as us that we were dropped off at a NINE MILE FLOAT! Now it is 4:00pm - we have been on the water for 6 hours and were not even half way - we have no life preserves or paddles - we have been out of drinking water and without food for several hours - it was a heat advisory Soooo, we are at a point where our skin is on fire, panic is setting in & we are hanging to our rafts with one arm and paddling with the other arm. Trying to wave down boats for help. Finally at 6:00pm this amazing couple in a fishing boat stop to help they took us 3 girls down the rest of the river to the end where we saw the kids (employees) that dropped us off early that morning. We advise them that they put us on the wrong float and that we had been stuck on the water all day without water! They LAUGHED.. heckled is. Mind you, we still have two guy friends out there that couldn't fit in the boat. The employees said they couldn't do anything to help & left. No one was there, we were the only car left in the lot. We waited an hour and then called 911, while we were on the phone them the couple that helped us earlier showed back up with our guy friends! We didn't leave until 7:30pm. I don't want to think about what would have happened if not for that gracious couple that helped us! Sorry this was long. It generates so many emotions for me. My friend sent an email to the owners and they were not sympathetic at all, offered no reassurance, money back.. nothing. Burnt, blistered and dehydrated.. not a happy 4th of July! They have a serious honey bee problem that are swarming everywhere. Kids frequently burst out screaming, scared they're about to be stung. Don't ride in the trailers that go across the highway to the other side of the venue because you'll be covered in dust due to the road not being watered down to keep dust down. The food is a joke!! Way too expensive and NOT good-worst corn dog ($10.00) I've ever had in my life. The lemonade ($7.00) was sugared water with no, no, no lemon. They want $5.00 to shoot one pumpkin out of a cannon. Definitely seems like a place to visit on the weekends opposed to weekdays. Unfortunately Wednesday was my only day off this week and I wanted the whole pumpkin patch experience. Their website offered tons of things to do so I bought tickets. $14/person plus the cost of pumpkins didn't seem bad but when we got there nearly everything was unavailable. No petting zoo, the snack stands seemed closed, etc. I totally understand it's a weekday and they aren't doing as much business, but I'm kind of disappointed we paid for tickets and didn't actually get to do anything that was supposed to be Included in the price. There were very few employees around and the ones we did see were pretty unhelpful. Terrible customer service! Unfriendly, inflexible staff and business altogether. I would leave 0/10 if I could. I booked a float trip for 8/12 and was notified by email at 5pm that night that my trip was being cancelled due to high water levels. I then had to schedule a float for somewhere else as I had company coming in from out of town. I asked for a refund and was told I could reschedule that they do not do refunds. I feel this is very poor practice to not issue refunds. I did not cancel, they did. I therefore had to pay for 2 float trips that day and due to the very poor customer service I do not plan to ever book a float trip with this company in the future. I see other reviews similar to this, just wish I had read the reviews before booking. read more

This morning we woke up ready for a nice day full of fun fall activities. We drove out to Brookdale Farms Eureka, MO. When we got there we were surprised to see no signs regarding CDC recommended public health practices. No social distancing, masks not required. While we didn't feel 100% great with this, we figured we would wear our masks and keep a social distance as it was an outdoor event. We paid the fee to get in, and wanted to walk over to the pumpkin patch to spend some more money- we were then told the only way to get to this pumpkin patch (which was a walkable distance away) was to take a hayride there. However, the hayride was stuffed with people not wearing masks and not practicing social distancing. We were told "sorry" when we said we'd like to walk instead of being on a crowded hayride. It's one thing to ignore CDC public heath recommendations, but it is another thing to stop visitors from participating while they are trying to abide by these recommendations. We paid our fee and were not permitted to participate unless we chose to be unsafe. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It is unsafe, and they are blatantly ignoring the fact that Covid-19 is spreading... and from where... but rural areas just like this farm. Disappointing. read more

So let me start with they list on the website they have pony rides on weekends for the fall event, the lady who did them quit. Only place this is posted is if you buy your tickets there! If you bought them online like us you just get a ya we have been telling them to take it off the website. Half the petting zoo was just empty pins. There wasn't a huge amount of pumpkins to choose from and most were small. The food from the burger bin thing was terrible for the price, McDonalds is easier to choke down!
