I think the best part of this farm was the ducks! They actually was talking back to me? They didn't have a lot of veggies and fruits, seem to be picked over. But they did have peach wood for the smoker! I also tried some chocolate zucchini muffin that was delish, not too sweet. But would I go back? Definitely...for the ducks!

We didn't notice the farm on our visit, so I'm only reviewing the strawberry picking portion. We came on absolutely the wrong day - it was blistering hot - almost 100 degrees - with not a cloud in the sky. We couldn't stay long, but still had a fantastic time! The strawberries were plentiful and large. They were the best I have ever tasted! They were incredibly juicy and crimson red all the way through the core of the berry. It was so wonderful I have not been able to buy grocery store strawberries since, as they now taste like cardboard in comparison. It was a blast to pick our own strawberries and the price of about $1.75 per pound a believe, was unbeatable. Strawberries for weeks! This is an awesome place to bring the kids for a day out, don't miss it!

The event included food trucks and a variety of vendors. My friend and I grabbed some BBQ from S&J Catering and it was delicious. We also grabbed donuts from Klassic Donuts and Glazed & Infuzed as well, which were very tasty. As we walked through the different shops, I absolutely loved all the fresh local, produce that was available. One of the shops offered a variety of jarred items and sauces so I purchased Crab Salsa and Spicy Pickled Okra. Both were very good and I definitely need to go back and get more! I absolute love supporting local businesses and I will definitely be returning very soon! Everyone was very nice and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

The staff were friendly and nice; our waitress even made some conversation at our table for a little bit. The outdoor dining area had a cute setup; def would like to see how it is during the summer. I don't remember the name of the drink I got because I asked the lady at the order window to make whichever one was both fruity and sweet. I'd give the drink an 8/10; it was pretty good, but became watered down really really fast. Didn't try any food off the menu because we were already planning to go eat after we left the farm, but after looking at the menu, I definitely see myself going back here soon to try their food and whatever new seasonal items/drinks they'll be adding to the menu in the next month or so. My overall rate of experience : 8.5/10

I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich with fresh fruit & a Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail. The chicken salad was horrible, lol like I actually took one bite & couldn't eat anymore. It's like the chicken salad was ground or puréed. The fresh fruit was delicious & ripe! The Strawberry Lemonade was delightful, a little heavy handed for my liking. I'm so happy this place is open that I'm still giving it 5 stars, despite not eating the sandwich.

I haven't been to any type of market in ages, but this morning I felt like exploring. I moved to Virginia 3 1/2 years ago and I enjoy cooking in my kitchen. I've had several thoughts about going to the farmer markets in the areas and I made those thoughts come true on today. My first stop was here at this particular one. Upon entering, we were greeted by Anna or Annie. She was working behind the counter and welcomed us inside. She even told me where I could find something specific I was looking for. As she waited on customers to shop she stocked up on some things and aligned items on shelves. Super helpful! We walked around and collected several items before heading to the register. I told her we hadn't been to a farmers market in so many years and she told us to come back any time and that they would be happy to serve us. Made my entire day!!! The ambiance of the market felt family strong. I loved the atmosphere and the foods/products made readily available. I can't wait to return. Upon leaving we saw that there was a food truck on the premises serving ice cream and hotdogs. We had just came from eating and didn't get to check them out, but if it's there when we return we'll definitely check it out. If you're reading my review, please go by and check them out.

My kids and I stopped in last week and it was nice and tidy. There isn't a ton of inventory, but enough to line the shelves so it doesn't look completely empty. There were tomatoes, cantaloupe, blueberries (locally sourced) and some jams and other preserves. I was surprised that most of the produce was not locally sourced since there are sooooo many farms in Chesapeake and VA Beach. I'm sure they are working on getting more inventory as the weeks progress. We purchased a cantaloupe, tomatoes from GA and some local blueberries and all of them were fantastic! The cantaloup was super juicy and cantaloupe-y flavor, tomatoes were juicy (made a Caprese salad with fresh basil from the plant I've been keeping alive) and the blueberries were gone before I could even taste them. My little fruit fiends got to them before I could! They also have a little animal area outside. We saw some rabbits, chickens and baby goats. I would really call it a petting zoo (no charge to look at the animals), but still a nice area for the kids to explore. Look forward to see what else they add to their store! Stay safe, Friends!
