These charges are in the range of $12k-20. The only thing I am able to do is hope no one else has this experience. I went in for a removal of a cyst in my neck. Everything seemed OK until a couple hours later. My neck began to swell due to internal bleeding from being improperly stitched. They were responsive and requested I return to Therapeutics. Once Dr. Bhatia reopened the wound, he realized he would be unable to fix it at the clinic and I was taken to Sharp ER by Ambulance. So rad, I am unable to have the procedure fixed for hours due to my BP being elevated while a nurse stands next to me with her fingers inside my neck. This is a great way to celebrate your Birthday. Since it was my birthday the night before and my elevated BP, Sharp requested I submit a drug test. Which I did and it came back clean. I was sewn up after multiple hours in the ER. They gave me BP medication to lower it before they were able to proceed. With the large amount of lost blood and the combination of medication, I passed out in the lobby while waiting for my ride. By this time I had enough. They wanted to admit me to the hospital and open the area back up. I couldn't do it, I had had enough. They said they couldn't make me but highly recommended I stay. I ended up leaving. The next day was 4th of July. Dr Bhatia did checkup on me to make sure I was OK. I did appreciate him taking the time. I went back to the see them and requested pain medication. I was told they were unable to prescribe this and was forced to make an emergency with my PCP. More money for no reason. When I went back to work, I was placed on mandatory "stress and medical leave" from this incident. This was supposed to be 30 days but for some reason extended to 90 days. When I was supposed to comeback I was fired immediately. Now, I am thankfully on disability from this incident as I went into a deep depression and have extreme anxiety. Due to the massive amount of blood loss, it was hard to bounce back. I am massively in debt which debt from this incident and as I stated, basically ruined my life. I was talking to the HR Director and now of course unable to get a call back or response to email. Dr. Bhatia is not a bad man. He just made a mistake and has refused to correct any of it. They are lucky I did not know about the statute of limitations. I will never go back again and when I did to get my record had a panic attack. I do not recommend this institution if you value your life. Therapeutics, Inc. does not value you life and even brought in an Executive to insure I knew this was a mistake. My experience with this office taught me one thing, advocating for yourself is incredibly critical…read more I told them that I had very sensitive skin and an allergy to adhesive. No instructions were given to me post surgery on how to keep the wound covered and clean without using bandaids. When I called a few days later after a rash appeared, I was treated so rudely and they were incredulous that I hadn't been using telfa pads. I had never heard of these and was never told to use them. Then when they removed the stitches a few days later, they used a chemical cleaner and steri strips on the incision that caused my skin to bubble with fluid filled blisters. My skin literally peeled off and bleed when I removed the strips 48hrs later. The discomfort was too much to handle and they told me to keep them on for 5 days but I couldn't do it. When I went in to have them look, no one apologized. I was told, you do have sensitive skin, just let it heal. This whole experience was completely avoidable. I've had to deal with constant rash, itching and discomfort for over two weeks and am worried about scaring due to how bad the blisters and skin peeling have been. The area of blisters is a 2in x 3in area with a rash that spread to my entire upper arm.

I have a scar on my lip. I got a shot of steroid in my lip a few weeks prior by a different doctor and the results were amazing. Minimal swelling, really decreased the scar and it looked great. But it takes multiple sessions. Since that doctor was in another city I decided to try Dr.Anne truitt. The first time I came in there, her PA Ms.Daly, gave me a steroid shot and charged me $120. Absolutely nothing happened. It looked exactly the same as it did the day before. I don't know if she even injected my lip with anything but saline, but I did not get my money's worth. I know what it's supposed to look like from having it done previously. So I called, I told the receptionist that her PA either made a mistake or didn't know what she was doing but I needed a redo, because as it was, these people took my money and did not give me what I paid for. I came back in, saw Dr.Truitt, she injected something? Into my lip. When I was leaving the receptionist said "wait you still have to pay" I said excuse me? I already paid for this service. She was fixing the incorrect work her PA did on me. She said the Doctor wants you to pay and you're not going to leave until you pay at least half. So I was FORCED to pay again for a service I already paid for. When I asked why she didn't tell me why she would be charging me BEFORE she injected me, she said "well I don't work for free" oh but you do charge people for services that you don't do correctly? And she knew what she was doing. It would have been as simple "we can inject again but I'll have to charge you" she specifically did this to scam me. it gets even better than that! When I tell you my lip swelled up so bad, I needed to go to the ER. It was so swollen I could barely open my mouth, and it started turning blue and purple and small holes were popping up out of my lip. After going to another dermatologist within a few days because I was worried something was very wrong, they told me she injected too much volume, too quickly and it resulted in damage to my lip. Not only do I have to wait for my lip to resolve, it has already been 2 weeks and it is still swollen and purple, but she it did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO MY SCAR. Before I left, I requested her to write down exactly what she put in my lip and how much, so when I go to capable doctor, they will know what she did to me. I called, I left messages, nothing. Only today, 2 weeks later did I receive medical records with inaccurate information, and a medical record full of derogatory remarks about me. She implied that I was "biting my lip" and that's why it was black and blue. HAHA this would almost be funny if this woman wasn't a medical professional in charge of people's faces. Even though she put 2 full pages about my "attitude" she STILL DID NOT WRITE SPECIFICALLY WHAT WAS INJECTED WHICH IS ALL I ASKED. This doctor has got to have something wrong with her mentally. And I'm not a professional, but that's my opinion. What doctor charges someone for one service twice, completely messes up their face, and then tries to bully me into saying it's my fault? I'm going to have to make a report to the medical board because I don't know what this woman is doing, but it's wrong. SHAME ON YOU TRUITT.
