My first visit I was shocked by how disgusting the salon was. There was hair, dust bunnies, and a band aid on the floor with the trash overflowing. There was also sweat and oil all over the bed as if someone didn't clean it after the last person. Personally, after my experience here, I would rather go somewhere and pay more money than stay somewhere where the beds aren't cleaned and the salon is not taken care of.

The store isn't anything fancy, but always fast and friendly service, clean beds and you won't find better prices anywhere in Muncie. After living in NYC and paying sometimes $30 PER TAN, I really appreciate that you can get 10 tans for that at Ultra Image! Their regular beds are plenty strong but you can also try a Genesis (with extra face tanning bulbs) or the bronzer bed to get extra dark. The Genesis and regular beds are the same price, bronzer bed is a bit more expensive but you get great, lasting color. They generally have a early bird special too, which is $3 tan if you come in before noon!

Do not do their Mystic Tan!…read more I'd done the Mystic Tan before and assumed it was the same- not the case. The process was terrible and their booth is poorly ventilated. It was soaking wet and seemed homemade, not like the nice Mystic Tan booths I'd used before. They didn't ask me what color I wanted to be sprayed with and against my better judgement, I went ahead with the process. The tan was a terrible shade of orange and very streaky. Luckily I still had a few weeks before the wedding that I needed to be tan for. The facility was disgusting and there was a sign on the wall asking patrons to not use the trash cans as toilets- gross! I bought a package but definitely won't be returning.

I've never had a Mystic last past one week or look "natural" until here. It's common sense and you HAVE to know how to do them, how to pose, how to dry off afterwards. Mystics are different than VersaSpas, etc. Don't be afraid to ask questions!..Which is why I've never had a bad sunless tanning experience. As to the other review, I've seen signs regarding urination in salons across the United States. It's common sense to not do this in a tanning salon, but people still unfortunately ignore it, even though the staff can pause the beds.

I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!

I scheduled my appointment on September 12. Found out the next day I had to go out of town for work for several weeks, not knowing when I could reschedule. I called Monday September 16th and left a message explaining I needed to cancel. Followed up September 19, day before the appointment to confirm it was cancelled and it was not. They will not reimburse me and I only have until October 12 to use the sessions, which will not work for me. So I asked for a credit for a single tanning session and was told their system does not work that way. Which I know is not true. Bad business.
