I really appreciate how honest she is...she'll tell you exactly what you need (and what you don't), which builds so much trust. Wonderful experiences recently at David & Mary - The Salon Experience! I scheduled online which was…read morequick and easy! Enjoyed a wonderful facial with David. Beautiful and modern but approachable and comfortable salon spaces with an elegant, French vibe. The treatment rooms are cozy and featured lovely French music that was perfect for the setting. He walked me through all the phases of the facial and the benefits! Knowing the experience David has in this industry and the great esthetician offerings he has was definitely a reason I booked. I also scheduled a hair consultation with Mary after my facial to discuss some sizeable challenges I was having with my hair. I was able to get scheduled shortly after on an evening appointment (which are on Thursdays as of the time of this review). Mary spent a lot of time talking with me on what I wanted, what my problem areas/concerns were with my existing color, how we could make a plan and made sure we were both very comfortable before the color went in! I am just thrilled with the outcome and she is an expert colorist! She was very transparent about pricing and realistic expectations with what we could and could not do in order to achieve the best outcome. All while trying to figure out my hair as a new client. I had visited the salon a couple of years ago during a Yelp Elite event and was so excited to return for some wonderful appointment experiences!! Highly recommend, as they are some of the best in the business!

You can choose from a chart of existing colors or completely make your own. They will ask you some questions to see if you are more of a cool or warm tone person, do you want frost (think light shimmer, not 1980's!) matte, gloss, cream base. You can even flavor it with pink champagne or raspberry truffle! I love bright colors so that's what we went with. You watch them make it right before your eyes. Legit, one of the coolest things I've ever experienced! I love my new colors! One is bright magenta and the other one just has some more red in it along with a touch of frost and moisturizer! Highly recommend checking out this new addition!

I had to buy some more work clothes and came across two tops that I loved ever so much. Sadly they…read morepresented a mild cleavage-related problem. Great by themselves for socializing, but for work not so much. So began my search for chemisettes. For those of you who dont know these are some snazzy little inserts that hook onto bra straps and lie flat underneath a shirt to cover up the cleavage area. This way you can be covered in an appropriate fashion without all the bulk of wearing a tank top underneath. I stumbled upon this site and found two i liked very much. The site is easy to navigate and has an easy to follow guide on finding which sizes to order. They have several different styles (in terms of fabric type, with or without trim etc). Very affordable with most sizes being $8, with the extra extra larger sizes being $9. Staff is really friendly. I attempted to put an order through on their website and found an error page. I sent an email explaining the problem and i kid you not - within three minutes I had a reply. THREE MINUTES. They tried to fix it quickly but discovered it to be a larger problem than anticipated so they sent me an order form i was able to fill out online and submit via email. The items shipped the next day and I received them shortly afterwards. Both items are exactly as described, and the sizing chart was accurate. I've used chemisettes before but some of them are a little short, so they have the potential to poke out of the shirt. Which kind of just makes it look like your wearing a weird bib. not attractive. These are the perfect length to stay hidden without adding bulk. Yay!
