I signed my little waiver and within 5 minutes got into a bed. She also gave me her recommendations, as I burn super easily, and I actually didn't come out burnt! It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!

All of the girls in my family got spray tans here before my sister's wedding. My sister also did a…read morebridal trial months in advance to test the coloring and to ensure that her sensitive skin reacted well (recommended). She had a light glow that she liked, and we all booked appointments to be set two days before the wedding. Booking was seamless! The spray tan studio is a small room inside the Carmel Office Suites building, which houses a ton of small beauty businesses. You can also have them come to your house. To book an appointment, you'll submit an email on their website and they'll call you soon after to get you in the calendar. There's only room for one person to get a spray tan at a time, and it'll just be you and the spray tanner in the room. They have a paper bandeau or underwear for you to wear if you want to be covered while they spray you if you want, or you can go nude. My spray tanner was super friendly and talkative, and made the whole experience not awkward. You can choose colors 1-10, but for a super light-toned person like me, she recommended anywhere between a level 1.5 to a 3. They describe the levels by saying that a 2 is about the level you'd be after being in the sun for an hour or two, and a 3 is more like your skin after coming back from a weekend in Florida. I would have loved to have more of a visual, but I'm sure that's hard for them to accurately display since everyone's skin tone is so different. You have the option to shower five hours after your spray tan, or to sleep in your spray tan all night. They told us that our sheets might get a little color if we didn't shower before bed, but that it washes out easily. Since the spray tan makes you a little sticky, I really wanted to shower before bed and therefore stayed up until 1am to hit my five hours. I therefore personally would want to book an earlier appointment now that I know that. All in all, it was a great experience and our color looked pretty natural. When I returned, the daughter "owner" confronted me as to why I was returning after my 2017 Google review (see attached for my original review.) Although I felt like this was an unwelcoming return, I explained to her that I was hoping that the kinks of the new ownership has been worked out and I was willing to give them another try. Her attititude didn't change...still unfriendly, unprofessional and unwelcoming. Being in a customer service role, a more appropriate reply would have been, "Welcome back, we hope to serve you better." Clearly, I was expecting too much. Several visits later, I was approached by the mother of this girl (I assume the owner of the salon) asking the same question. I explained the initial incident with her daughter from the years prior. She responded very apologetically for her daughter's behavior and explained that she was "young and immature with a mouth on her back then, but since then she became a mother and has matured." I responded that being a mother of a mouthy daughter myself, I can totally relate and we laughed it off. In my opinion, this was resolved and I accepted her apology on behalf of her daughter's behavior. This week, I went into the salon to purchase a month tanning package. As I was leaving the salon, I was approached by an old man sitting on a chair by the exit door (later to learn that he was the husband/father of the family that work at the salon). He asked me "Can I ask you something?" I responded cheerfully "sure". (Thinking that he was just a jolly old man going to ask me something about the area, tell me a joke, etc.) To my surprise, he said, "If you gave us a bad review, why are you coming here?" I was caught off guard, because I have never seen this man before today and thought that this issue was resolved. I explained to him that my previous review was written 5-6 years ago after a bad experience upon their new ownership, but that it was resolved. He began insisting that I take it down. Within minutes, all three (Mother, Daughter and Dad) were verbally attacking me in the lobby for giving the salon a "bad review" on socal media. I asked the purpose of this conversation, and the mom said "because the review still exist but I can't ask you to remove it." I explained that my review was an honest review, but if she was wanting me to remove it, then she could have simply asked me to do so or ask me to respond with an updated review with my current satisfaction. She stated that as a business owner that she isn't allowed to ask me to remove it, yet the husband was insisting that it be taken down or get a refund and go elsewhere. In my opinion, the effective way of asking me for a positive post would be "If you are happy with our services today, we would love to hear an update on Google." I refuse to be bullied to take down an honest review, especially after seeing nothing has changed with their customer service! I still remain honest and today's review is warranted. The customer service is extremely unfriendly and pricing is high! Ultimately, I took the offer from the old man to refund me my purchase today. My hard earned money will get spent elsewhere! I would drive to Florida to get a tan before I step a foot into this salon again. I highly recommend any other local salon to experience friendly and professional service. Specials are offered at other local salons..so, pricing is more reasonable too. To be honest, the ONLY reason I gave Tiki Tan Fishers another chance was because of convenience to the east side of Fishers. Let's face it, driving an extra 5 minutes for a relaxing tan is worth it! Enter Tiki Tan Fishers at your own risk...this family is brutal, yet cowardly to verbally attack one woman in their lobby. Intimidation didn't work on me...I will take my business elsewhere and conitnue to provide honest feedback to our community. Most of the staff is pleasant to nice and easy to deal with. The only reason I didn't give 5's is their snail like computer system and the quality/condition of the beds. It usually takes 2-3 times longer to get checked in than it should and, some of the beds have button/ sound/ bulb issues. Over all it is a good place and I would recommend them just not if you are in a hurry.
