One bad employee can really put a bad taste in your mouth, so I don't think I will be back. Pros: - Always super clean. - Reasonable pricing. - The two blonde girls that are usually working are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cons: - I signed up specifically for level 3 membership back in April to be able to tan in room 1, but only got to use it a handful of times. It has been down for some time now. There is one other lay down bed on this level membership, but the fans don't work so it's like an oven. - The tall brunette that was working the past 2 times I went in was very sassy and at times flat out rude. Made a big deal about me coming in 20 minutes before they closed and even though I left before their posted closing time, she was annoyed to have to unlock the door to let me out. Easily avoidable if you don't lock the door prior to your posted closing time ‍

The facility is usually clean and MOST of the time, I don't have problems with the sunless tanning machines. My biggest problem with this location is that when certain employees are working, I get a 25-30 minute lecture about why I need to buy their products. You know those people at the mall who try and grab you and convince you that their products are the absolute best? Yeah, kinda like that but more annoying. I'd say 4-5 times I've come in and one of the two sunless tanning machines weren't working or my spray tan got jacked up because someone didn't do something right. This place is too pricy for mistakes like this frequently.

I don't know the particulars but they use to be Malibu Tan. You could join, pay a monthly fee or purchase minutes, to include prepaid minutes. Not only is PBT extremely overpriced for their facilities and services but they no longer will honor my Malibu Tan minutes which were worth a couple hundred dollars. When they bought Malibu Tan I was told our minutes would be honored with the new company no problem. I was never told I had a time limit or expiration date! When I went the other day, I said "It sure would have been nice if someone had informed me that they were set to expire so I could have used them or transferred to another member." I was told by some unfriendly irritated employee that "tanners were notified". Not if they didn't come in often because it' was winter and they were embracing it and it's pale skin. They didn't call or email me and I'm thinking of taking this a step further. I think what they did was illegal and if so (my friend is in law school) I plan to get my money back. This is so unprofessional and dishonest. I know you've lost many loyal customers because of this as I've read other reviews. same shock and utter disappointment I had and still have. Greed is what ends up ending little rinky dinky places like this. AND yes, at this location they are like door-to-door sales men or a used car salesman pushing their lotions and more over priced stuff onto you. No means no! I was weaseled out of money this way though it was some deal on buying more tanning credits (when they were still Malibu but some employees remained) in another unreal occurrence with this establishment. This is the only place near me that I have time for so I'm paying a small fortune to tan here JUST for the next month or two.

Perla was my esthetician, and she was absolutely incredible--knowledgeable, gentle, and so thorough in explaining every step of the process. The treatment itself was comfortable (with numbing of course) , and the results are definitely noticeable. My skin looks smoother, brighter, and more even, and it has that healthy glow I've been trying to achieve for a while. The epidermal leveling add-on made a huge difference in how well my skin absorbed products afterward. This service is truly worth it, especially in Perla's hands. You can tell she genuinely cares about results and your overall experience. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this to anyone looking to invest in their skin.

Unrelated to the services or folks at the front desk--I found it a bit frustrating that, during both times I've visited, other guests were taking phone calls in the relaxation room.
