I wanted to share an update to my previous review for Brandon Foot & Ankle. I was referred to Dr. Mike by my primary care provider after struggling with plantar fasciitis for over a year. The pain was intense--I had to put parts of my life on hold, including hiking and even walking longer distances comfortably. At my first visit, Dr. Mike recommended electromagnetic shockwave therapy. While it was an out-of-pocket cost (around $800), I chose this route because it was less invasive than injections or surgery--and I'm so glad I did. I completed six treatments, and I could truly feel improvement week by week. Now, about four weeks post-treatment, my pain is nearly 100% gone. It's honestly life-changing. I also want to highlight the office itself--very clean, welcoming, and staffed with genuinely kind and professional people. My experience has been nothing but positive, which is why I find some of the negative reviews surprising. Brondon Foot and Ankle - Podiatrists Near Me - Centerville, Ohio

took my 88 year old father to his follow up appointment for his foot issue. The front desk person told us they did not have an appointment for him. I showed them the appointment card we were given from the previous appointment. They ultimately said that they needed a referral from his primary care doctor and that they reached out to them multiple times, but they had not heard back from them. I asked them why they did not call to inform me that they had cancelled the appointment. (they have my phone number and my email address) They just gave me the runaround and no apology. I had driven over 2 1/2 hours to get my elderly father there and to get him back home. The next day I called his primary care doctors office, and they told me they had not received any phone calls from Brondon Foot and Ankle. I made 2 more calls back to Brondon's asking for one of the doctors to call me back with an explanation, but I never heard back from them. The last office person I spoke with told me they could not give me any information because of HIPPA rules. This is unacceptable. If we had not shown up for an appointment, I'm sure we would have been charged a fee. read more

Dr. Michael Brondon is great with communication with me, answers all my questions and I just feel he's awesome man. Visits with him are enjoyable, how many people can really say that about a doctor!!!! All around nice, knowledgeable, easy to talk to guy ! read more

The ability to except responsibility and not place it on patients when they screwup. Another would be the ability to speak with patients without requiring the patients to scream to be heard, when telling them I had already decided not to return, Ms Dr Bronson called me after my first post to convince me I was wrong and she was right. Having to remind her she didn't get to do all the talking said go ahead I won't interrupt but as soon as I said something she disagreed on she went back to dominating the conversation interrupting me three more times until I told her she's wasting my time, I have no intentions of coming back there. She started raising her voice, completely dominating the discussion and drowning me out yelling she was terminating me and closing my file, I couldn't tell her I fired them, I was forced to yell, you didn't discharge me, I discharged you, she was still yelling when I hung up. There are so many podiatrist to go to, even though I could have gotten my shoes from Medicare, I'll buy them myself before I'd ever go back there! read more

Go look at their reviews on Google. The responses from the staff are obnoxious to anyone concerned about the way they were treated. Common denominator is it's the same issues being experienced by patients, and the same nasty replies from the staff showing disrespect.. Would you want to go to this practice? Dr Brondon was knowledgeable and friendly. his treatment plan really helped my foot pain.

The office experience is beyond sub-par. In fact, it's the first time I've experienced such a lack of professionalism and concern by medical staff in Ohio. Our appointment had been arbitrarily cancelled--which considering the patient being brought in was in his mid 80's, getting there was not easy. What's even worse is when we asked to speak with someone like an office manager, we were told flat out there's no office manager and the doctors would do the same thing. When I requested a corporate headquarters or anyone else we could speak with, the "staffing lead" who kept looking at her phone didn't look up, but said, "Yeah, I'll talk to them," right in front of us. Then, after effectively saying that we we're called, she knew we were called, and it was all our fault that they cancelled, she sat back down and as we were walking out, hollered, "Have a nice day," as sarcastically as possible. They didn't seem to care about my symptoms, pain level, or whether or not they could help me, just whether I had proof of health insurance when scheduling an appointment. I'll patronize a practice who is patient focused instead. It is no wonder they receive consistently poor reviews! read more

Receptionist was pleasant and friendly. Doctor was attentive and efficient and problem was taken care of

The receptionist Lindsey is very unprofessional. She is dressed like a slob, not friendly, no eye contact, has no interest in helping you as a patient. My son had an ingrown toenail, and it ended up costing almost $200 because they scheduled a bunch of follow ups and each follow up was an office visit co-pay. I am so tired of the lack of concern and poor customer service anymore what is wrong am I the only one who feels this way I sure hope not that's why I am writing this review. About 2 months ago I went to seek relief Because I was in excruciating pain and couldn't get into my regular podiatrist honestly now I wish I had waited. I called today and some sarcastic and rude woman answered the phone when I questioned if they were open she was very snarky in her response and said yes as if I was bothering her oh well they were obviously getting ready to close. when I told her the reason why I was calling was to speak with the Doctor she wanted to know why I told her I think when I got my injection in my foot The pain never has subsided and was worried if maybe she hit a nerve. She then says what was the injection for I said why don't you look me up then she laughed at me out of annoyance she then puts me on hold and never comes back on the line. I tried calling back and then they were closed. Truly this how you run a buisness it's truly unbelievable she knew my name yet didn't even call me back this was at 3:30 on a Friday. I had a bad feeling about getting the injection in the first place but I was in so much pain I just wanted relief. How ever no one should ever be treated as if they aren't important period!! If this is how they run a buisness they won't be around for long.I certainly will never go back and please be aware of the unprofessionalism at this establishment!!! read more

Dr. Brondon treated my husband she told him to rest his foot for 2 weeks. Then when he went back in to get checked and to get his off work papers filled out, she yelled at him in waiting room in front of other patients and told him she never said that and that he basically was a liar. He didn't know what to say, left there very upset cause he did what she said then thought he was going to lose his job because she wouldn't fill out the paper. That same day he ended up in hospital with heart attack and had to get a stint put in. My husband went back to this practice but to see the other Dr. Brondon, he ended up signing off because with the rest he had given foot and been off work helped his foot (the male Dr. Brondon was much better). But to go through this and her patient confidentiality breaking HIPPA was a horrible experience. The lady at front desk even remembered my husband and apologized for her outrage. My mom had a bad experience with Dr. B and the office staff. She went in March to see Dr. B because she was referred by her primary. She has been having a lot of pain all over her body so she was looking for help. The first appointment went alright and she was hoping he would be able to help. That time the office people gave her incorrect information on pricing of her biopsy's. Then corona hit so she made a tele-health visit. They went back and forth on the pricing of the visit and no one knew they actual cost of the tele-health visit or if her insurance even covered it. Right before her appointment she called and a rude women answered saying she knew about all the confusion, kind of like they were all gossiping about her. The doctor gave her the results of the biopsy. He then asked her if she had any more questions and she said she wanted to know if she had bone spurs in her heals. He had already taken x-rays in the past so he would have just had to look at those. He replied to her "I don't want to get into that now, that would be for another time". That is such an unprofessional and greedy thing to say to a patient who is trusting you with taking care of them & is looking for help. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. read more

With as weird as my symptoms have been, both diagnoses I have received have been spot on. This practice is patient, not rushing through to a quick diagnosis. The orthotics they prescribe are sturdy enough to last 7+ years as well as comfortable. read more

This place sent me to collections over $41 dollars. I didn't get any bills or nothing. I have a HRA account with plenty of money in there, so it wouldn't have been an issue to swipe a card or write down the card # on a bill. Another issue is that they make you return for an additional appointment to tell you lab results. They won't give you the results because you might self treat and they want more of your money. I'll never go back to this place. Plenty of choices in dayton, don't choose this one. read more

I have had trouble with fungal nails for years, tried all the crazy home remedies, and even a few over the counter things. I made my first appointment with Dr. Brondon, the staff was so friendly and helpful while scheduling my appointment. I am hard of hearing so it sometimes can be frustrating to talk on the phone. Dr. Brondon talked to me about the different options we could try to treat my fungal nails, but suggested that I have him send some off to the lab to make sure they it actually was a fungus. Unlike the previous review (Brandon K) I loved the fact that Dr. Brondon brought me back into office ( which wasn't a surprise they told me about it and had me sign something saying that I understood this was their policy ) Dr. Brondon went over my results with me in person and gave me all my options, come to find out after all these years it wasn't a fungus but a mold. Which I learned are treated very differently. He was very personable, and friendly, his medical assistant was helpful and more knowledgeable than expected. I would recommend Dr. Brondon to anyone with any foot issue. read more

We were not pleased with this husband, wife team. My son had surgery on his toenail that wasn't done properly. It became infected and we had to return to the office several times and it caused him a lot pain. Every time we returned to the office , they charged us an office call, even though it was the Dr.s mistake. Would never return for any future problems. Very dissatisfied read more

Looking for a good foot doctor? Keep looking and don't bother going to Dr. Brondon. My experience with him was horrible, and I wouldn't recommend that my worse enemy go to him for care. He had no idea what the actual problem was, and just had me keep coming back over and over for care that didn't get to the root of the problem. Then he finally took some x-ray's of my foot and was completely overwhelmed by what he saw. Told me he never heard of my condition and wasn't sure how to treat it. I finally went to another doctor who immediately recognized my condition and provided relief. After months, I am still trying to untangle billing issues with Dr. Brondon because his staff is an incompetent at billing as he is at diagnosing foot issues. Trust me, stay away from this guy. read more
