Best Motel Ever!!! Exactly what I was looking for!! Has flat…read moretv, an awesome bathroom and the shower was even better!!! Paid $100 for the bedroom upstairs which was big enough for my kids and husband. I think if you want a bigger room with an extra bed is $120 I really recommen Clover Motel

My husband and I made a reservation a week in advance, and the booking information stated that check-in was at 11:00 AM. However, when we arrived, we were told we would either need to wait until 3:00 PM or pay extra for a room. We were also told that our reservation was "not guaranteed" if we chose to wait, which was frustrating and confusing. Thankfully, the owner's wife was very kind and reassured us that a room would be ready at 3:00 PM. Unfortunately, communication throughout the process felt unclear. For example, when we went to pay, the tap option appeared available, but we were then informed that only card insert or cash was accepted. Overall, the check-in process felt unnecessarily stressful. After paying the additional fee, we were given what was described as one of the "nicer rooms." I wasn't expecting luxury given the price and location, but I did expect basic amenities to function properly. The shower was very difficult to open and close, and it made a loud noise that could easily disturb neighboring rooms. The sink also had a strong unpleasant odor coming from the drain, and the TV was not working during our stay. The room itself also felt unclean (which was expected), and some features, like the stove and cabinets, appeared to be more decorative rather than usable. Just don't trust the pictures posted completely. That said, if you simply need an inexpensive place to stay for one night and don't mind these issues, it may still work for you. Just be aware that the reservation and check-in process may not be as straightforward as expected, and there may be additional charges upon arrival.

I'm giving a 5 Star review not necessarily because of the hotel. But because of the GM, Rachael…read moreHernandez and somebody at the front desk named Christine. (Kristine?). My wife, my daughter and I have stayed at this hotel over 100 times in the last 30 years. We're loyal to it, because it feels like home, the way we have always been treated. The location is perfect when we are visiting our many relatives in town. My wife actually had a difficult time checking in the last time we were there. Due to my own mistake, I did not put her down as an "additional guest". When she tried to check in after a 9 hour, 400 mile drive at 11 PM at night on her own. A new front desk person, wouldn't let her check in, unless I was present. We have never had that happen before in all the years we've stayed there. Normally when we check in, there's always somebody at the front desk who knows us. But this was a new person, and that's not her fault for being new. I will confess that the discussion became heated between this person, my wife and me. My wife felt intimidated and afraid she would have a place to stay for the night. Ultimately, she was allowed to check in and I got there several hours later. The reason I'm writing the review, however, is because when I called to explain/complain, Christine (Kristine?) and Rachael, we're extremely responsive and polite. They didn't immediately go into: "We believe only a coworker's story and not yours." mode. They didn't take sides. They listened and made this loyal customer feel heard. The de-escalated the situation like professionals. This is rare these days. My wife had felt so intimidated by her interaction with the front desk clerk, we actually ended up canceling our next three stays at the hotel. BUT talking to Christine and later Rachael changed everything. I'm impressed. We will be back.
