They send exterminators regularly (totally preventative - I've had zero pests) and Gary is super responsive anytime I've had a question or an issue with my apartment. A+!

They all were actually very good, I picked the one that was closest to my work and I scheduled showing. I met with Marvin and he was incredibly professional, honest and upfront. There was no weird feeling like with other agents I met recently and he was responding very fast to my messages. I applied in the evening and the next day in the morning i got the answer that I approved. It was very quick, specially when I didn't have much time left to find a new place, they just literally saved me! On multiple occasions Omar would come to our apartment after 11PM and tell us we would need to pay more. He would stand in our kitchen and rant for 30+ minutes about how he knew Mayor Adams and cared about us. These were intimidating and unnecessary. This is during our active lease! When we eventually left to buy our own place, Omar got involved with the landlord and they withheld a reference until we agreed to give them additional money beyond forfeiting our deposit and moving out weeks early. I typically don't leave reviews like this, but anyone considering working with Omar/Zealestate should think twice.

The property isn't of newer construction, I'm sure the building is over 100 years old however, I do not hold BrownStone Management accountable for the problems inherent to the property, I do however hold them accountable for the repairs, upkeep and maintenance of the property. That said I feel as though they try to exceed my expectations of getting those matters addressed and satisfactorily completed in a very expedient way . And so far they have done that. I can think of horrible experiences I have had with other management companies, none of which can compare to any experiences in regard to BrownStone's services. Being a member of my tenants council I can also speak on behalf of most all the tenants of my building. If we have a problem, we call, they answer, and take action. Very simple. I was referred to chezi by my friend and since using him to manage the units we have never had any problems. Any issues with tenants he has dealt with from going to court for representation or assisting with finding me someone to fix a small issue at a very cheap price. He's helped me a lot and I can not recommend him enough as a property manager. He also manages one of my cousins house after he had to relocate and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is in working condition and the tenants are happy.
