I was there last night and a sweet disabled man was there with his service dog minding his own business was very well behaved dog and the owner had them removed it was very disrespectful and left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Won't be going back. Wish I could give zero stars. The owner was very rude. read more

This is literally my favorite place in Lake Jackson. I feel like I'm in Austin again! Beautiful patio with an amazing, massive oak tree! It's the best outdoor spot around. The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable of different cocktails! They remembered what I drank after not being back for over a month, which I was super impressed by! I just always feel at home here! During the week it is a very low key date or relaxation spot. I've occasionally even had the place to myself. But if you come on a weekend, the energy is amazing! They play classic music videos on their TVs and have an array of board games to keep the fun going. They don't really have food, but they do allow you to bring in whatever you want. They also have a great special almost every day of the week! I've never had a bad time here, whether I was alone in the bar, or couldn't find a spot to sit! (Ps: try their minty Moscow mule! The atmosphere of this place is off the charts! I went to college in Austin, and I can't help but get Austin vibes here. The tree and patio is great, the bartenders are the best in town by far, and the prices are significantly lower than a lot of other places around. They have good specials. Didn't even know this place existed! It is a great bar if you don't want to be in a crowded place like Rickochets or Wayside. I love the interior and the patio. The staff there is really friendly. I will definitely be going back next time we go out. read more

Solid cocktails and decent beer selection but very limited and unimpressive food menu. The patio is excellent and they have classic music videos playing on the outside TV. Seriously, the place was made for 30 year olds. I love it but the food needs work. read more

This place is awesome! Their cocktails are refreshing and perfect for sipping under the big tree on their patio! Love that they built the patio AROUND the tree! When you're there it doesn't even feel like Lake Jackson. I feel like I was at a secret spot in Austin! The person who suggested it to us described it as an "upscale ice house" which in a way feels true because it has a giant, glass garage door that opens up the building to the porch. They have a full bar with beer, wine, and liquor as well as a few items for food. We tried the muffulettas and the smoked boudin and both were good for snacking on. Overall I felt really relaxed and safe here with my girlfriends. The place is classy and the vibes were super positive. We didn't have to worry about being bothered by a bunch of sloppy drunks which is a HUGE plus for us. One of our favorite parts of the whole experience is that they play music videos on most of their TVs so we enjoyed the throwback videos and music; kind of a refreshing change from the jukebox battles at some bars around here. Overall we absolutely loved the drinks, the service, and most of all the atmosphere. Hands down Brody's has the best patio in town, and I think I'm moving in! read more

It's not horrible, I like the location and it is one of the few places with a patio in town. That's pretty much the only good things. Every time Im here they say their cook is out of town, so they cant offer food. They only offer your standard beer options, or basic drinks. That would be fine if their prices weren't so high or if there was an atmosphere to the place, but if I want to sit outside a garage and drink under a tree, I can do it much cheaper at home. read more
