If you are searching for a professional, quality repair shop in Jersey City, one in which their standards are based on honesty and integrity, look no further. Recently I ended up in a conundrum when AAA was unable to provide a tow truck that could navigate a low clearance garage. Broadway Sunoco in Jersey City was a godsend. They promptly sent two employees who actually pushed my vehicle out of this garage and onto a rollback for transport to their service station. Danny kept me well informed about the ongoing repair process, the amount of time I could expect this to take, and all fees involved. Several days after retrieving my vehicle, I received a follow-up call asking if the repair was completed to my satisfaction. As many of us know, this level of commitment and dedication to customer satisfaction is rarely practiced in this day and age. I've learned that this is a family-owned company which has been in business since 1962 and they take their reputation dead seriously. I highly recommend Broadway Sunoco - they are, without a doubt, the best! They specialize in 4x4 Services, AC Repair, Alignment, Brakes, Car & Truck Care, Domestic Cars & Trucks, Electrical Services, Electronic Services, Emergency Roadside Assistance, Engine & Transmission, Engine Maintenance, General Services, Heating and Cooling Services, Import Cars & Trucks, Inspections and Emissions, Miscellaneous Services, Tires, Towing, Towing & Recovery, Transmission Services and Undercar Services. https://www.broadwaysunocoservice.com/ Phone 201-333-5480 read more

Wonderful service here. Called about two flats and asked if they'd take us right away. They were quick to accommodate and when we arrived we were offered fresh ground coffee and some bakery treats. This was on New Year's Eve (a big travel day) so I was grateful for their quick service and accommodations. My tires were replaced with some tires they had in stock, aligned, and rotated them and all for a great value. I was very pleased and would recommend this family owned business to anyone in a tight spot. read more

Danny is the absolute best. I don't live close to my family (who know a thing or two about cars), but Danny goes above and beyond to make sure me & my car are taken care of. Will always recommend this place to everyone! read more

My car has 130K+ miles on it and had been having some issues that we couldn't diagnose. Danny figured out all of the problems and offered clear solutions in a way that didn't make us feel pressured or taken advantage of. The turn around time was speedy and Danny was extremely communicative throughout the whole process. Prices are very fair for high quality work. I'll be going here as king as I'm living in the area. read more

I came to update the review because although they didn't fix my car, the owner rectified the dispute without a lot of fuss. They're honest guys. So I would be willing to give them another chance if the need arose. read more

Broadway has become our go-to auto center when the family cars need repairs and/or servicing. We have used them for years due to their professionalism and reliability. We value their advice and absolutely trust them to troubleshoot and then fix the problem. I highly recommend them. read more

I've had only excellent experiences with Broadway Sunoco. I usually communicate with Danny, and he is honest and accommodating. When something needs to be fixed, they do a great job, for a reasonable price. And they never "discover" anything that doesn't actually need to be fixed, if you know what I mean! read more

I'm biased because I have been a loyal customer of Broadway Sunoco for over 30 years. But I'm confident that once you service your car with Broadway Sunoco you too will become a loyal customer. That's because Danny, his brothers Libby, John, and Sam, and their accredited staff have the experience and automotive know how to get the job done right. Broadway Sunoco is a family business that's been in existence for over 60 years and that's exactly how Danny and his brothers make all their customers feel, like family!! When you bring your car to Broadway Sunoco you will be greeted by Danny DeMarco, who is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He will listen to your concerns and do a quick assessment of your vehicle. Next he will give you a preliminary diagnosis and timeframe for how long it would take to correct the problem as well as a full breakdown of what it would cost. Danny is not only extremely knowledgeable in automotive repair he's also trustworthy!! He and his staff would never lie to you or try and scam you into repairs your car doesn't need. Like I said, I have been taking my cars and my family members' cars to Broadway Sunoco for over 30 years and they have NEVER let me down!! These guys are that good, but don't take my word for it, give Danny a call and schedule an appointment today!! You'll be glad you did!! Tell him Jason sent you!! read more

I took my car to a local garage last year to fix my AC, after 30 seconds they said it was the compressor, they replaced it and it died a month later. There was no communication, not even a receipt. It was the end of the season so I never took it back. This year I took it to Broadway Gulf and the experience couldn't have been more different, the owner was great with easy communication and they took the time to actually search what the problem was and replaced the relay. They explained this to me and showed me the part. I would highly recommend. read more

Broadway Gulf is a great auto center for everything. Jim was very helpful and went out of his way to get my brakes done. My brakes work great and very fair and honest on labor and parts. I will recommend Broadway Gulf to anyone that needs a mechanic that they can trust. read more

Was recommended to go here by a triple A worker when my car broke down. Felt that Danny was very nice and accommodating, however Lib was extremely rude to me. They fixed one problem with my car only sending me home with a different problem. I will never go back there even to fix the problem they caused. Also, when I went to pick up my car, someone was on top of the gas station roof dropping large piles of dirt to the ground not looking at who was walking by. I laughed it off when one came flying by my face until I realized they didn't even fix my car. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I have been going to Broadway Gulf for over 25 years. I trust them for their expertise and experience in servicing my auto needs. They're always there to help you out in all seasons in every kind of climate. Thank you for your excellent service and dedication. read more

Let me tell you something. I've never in my life had more favorable experiences with a mechanic than when I began coming here. My SUV, an '08 Explorer with 139,000 miles and a usual host of problems combined with my crap luck, has had to come in for numerous services and each time Bob and his crew have been nothing but TOP NOTCH. I live in a town with 4 different auto body shops and I'll still take the 15min drive every time to come see Bob because I know the job will get done professionally and I'll get a fair price. I've come for TIRES, BRAKES, an ALTERNATOR, TRANSMISSION, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, and BATTERY fixes and replacements and I couldn't be happier with these results :) If Bob can't fix it he'll always be honest with you and recommend places where you can get it fixed and they will NEVER screw you over on prices. 10/10 WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

These guys are AMAZING!!! Words can't do these guys justice...so hard to find good, honest mechanics, but these guys are the real thing. I recently had a new engine installed in my car and they where so honest and helpful through the whole ordeal. They have made sure the car is running well and have eagerly done all necessary touch ups. Thank you guys for everything! read more

I went to a Jeep dealership in Englewood Cliffs and was getting poor treatment and scammed. I quickly found Danny and went straight to him. My heater stopped working and he immediately fixed it and didn't charge me. He mentioned a few other things to keep and eye on, but didn't quote me on $1500 worth of repairs like the Jeep dealership did. Will go back for my next oil change! Thanks Danny! read more

Broadway Gulf was recommended to me by a neighbor after I discovered my last mechanic was ripping me off. Even though there are other places I could go that are closer to my home, I always look for a business that deals with me straight. I found just that at Broadway Gulf. They always fit me into their schedule, they completely take care of my car and give me excellent advice. I'm never shocked by the final tally and I receive great communication while my car is in for service. Even though I'm about to get a new vehicle, I will continue to bring my business to Broadway Gulf. I would trust no one else. read more

My 2005 Accord has been serviced regularly at the Honda dealership where it was originally purchased new. Out of fear and laziness after inheriting it 3 years ago, I continued this ignorant practice until last week when I took it to Danny at Broadway Sunoco for a second opinion. Over the summer, he saved me a couple of hundred dollars on the replacement of my AC condenser. This time he saved me from over $1500 in unnecessary repairs which wouldn't even have solved the problem of my power steering issues. But the integrity and fair pricing of this business is not primarily what will bring me back again. What I appreciate most is the respect shown by treating me like an intelligent human being and not a helpless female in distress. Danny took the time to visually show me what the problem was and explain how they fixed it. Any questions I had were answered in a way that I could understand without making me feel stupid. Plus, a convenient location, accommodating availability, welcoming waiting area, and friendly staff (although I've only ever dealt with Danny). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Broadway Gulf/Sunoco to anyone looking for reliable and affordable automotive repair services. read more
