Very nice and engaging. Come in and get you car smoged,so Fariborz can get rich. Very funny guy!!!!

This is the second time I've been to Smog Wizard in the last 2 years. Service was even faster and friendlier this time than last. The gentleman helping me even joked when I forgot to pay before I started to leave - no screaming, just friendly reminder. I was in and out in less than 20 mintes! I think they've spruced up the waiting room a little, too. read more

Great place to get your car smogged off Broadway in land park. Friendly staff and very fast. They also allow you to pay your registration on the spot so you can leave with tags. Price isn't bad either. read more

Quick, friendly service! I usually go to the smog next to my shop, but that's a whole town away and DMV needed my smog results by today. Actually friendlier and quicker than the guy I've worked with for 6 years (I'm a mechanic half of the year and there's a smog shop down the street from our shop we bring all our cars to). Price was near equivalent to my guy as well, so I'm a very happy customer! read more

Quick, easy and professional! We highly recommend using Smog Wizard for your car testing.

My elderly mother brought her Camry in to get a smog everything passed except for the visual inspection, they stated her air intake hose was cracked they charged my mother $157 and told her to go fix it and come back and she'll have to pay again to have it retested. She immediately went to another shop and had them replace her air intake hose. When trying to bring it back for a retest they're saying she has to do the entire smog inspection over again and she has to pay again. I've been to many smog shops and you get 1 free retest! Not this place!! She took her car to smog express on Folsom Boulevard and they only charged her $70 for the entire smog and certificate. This place is a rip off and they take advantage of the elderly people and woman. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to this place especially if you're elder or a woman!! read more

Quick service, with nice staff. Air conditioned waiting room while they check your vehicle. They transmit the results to DMV.

Been coming here for years. Pleasanton staff and quick service. Conveniently located on 24th and Broadway (not far from the DMV).

I absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for over 15 years and the owner, and customer service is fantastic. read more

The gentleman here is very friendly, fast, and efficient. I called on a Friday morning and expected to be told there was an hour or two wait but when he answered and I explained my situation, he told me to come down and he'd get me right in. (I didn't realize until that day that I needed a smog to get my car registered and it was due that day! Totally my fault for not opening the registration notice.). Anyway, I went down and he had me in and out in 20 minutes, and he had the info to the dmv right away. I was able to complete the online registration process as soon as I got home! In addition, his price is very reasonable compared to some of the other places I called AND he has $10 off with a Yelp check in. Sweet! If you need a smog, this is your spot! read more

The wizard served me well today. In and out in less than 30 minutes more like 15 minutes. Of course that's because nobody was in line before me. Want simple and easy come see the wizard for all your smog needs. That's my story read more

Broadway Smog Wizard - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Sacramento, California

Star Certified Smog Check in Oak Park on Broadway. Great and convenient location with plenty of parking and a waiting area. Quick and easy service. No waiting. I just pulled right up. The attendant with nice and pleasant. The total charge was around $65 ish which is about right. Probably a few cheaper places but this one was closer to me. They have a small waiting area and the total time in and out was 20 minutes so I didn't feel I needed to go somewhere else to wait. The place was clean and fine. I'd suggest having a radio or something in the waiting area. I brought a book so I just read which was fine. Conclusion: quick and easy place to get a Star Certified Smog Check. Price was fine. A few dollars more than some but whatever. I'll come back here. read more

This is where we take our cars - the staff are always quick and friendly and the price is right. Next to McDonald's or Taco Bell if you want a bite. Easy to get to from all directions, easy parking. It's a great spot that offers a very good service, and they are cheap. Just what I like. read more

At Apex Motors they offer great prices for smog. Their service is straightforward and quick.

Name: Sanjeev Singh License Number: EO633638 Went to Smog Gold Station and swore the technician was trying to invent something to fail me on. I was correct. He decided to fail me claiming OBD system check caused me to fail because of a communication error. I tried to explain to the technician as that this is a 1999 BMW and if it has a round 20 PIN BMW Connector under the hood that is what is needed to connect to. He said I was wrong. I said I could go home and grab my OBDII reader and Adaptor and prove that there is no communication error. Retuned and he just told me I was failing anyhow and he didn't care to look at anything because he was the expert. NOT on BMW that's for sure. Contact the BAR and filed a complaint and have arranged to meet with referee as I don't think I should pay anymore money out. read more

I procrastinated getting my car smogged for months and months. When I finally did it, it took about 30 minutes, and that's because there were a few people in front of me. It couldn't have been an easier task. It's first come, first served. Easy parking. The man is SO nice and even un-dented my dent a little. He sends the paperwork for you. I left thinking..."that was it? That was so easy!" I highly recommend this place! read more

I drove right in with out an appointment. A very pleasant gentlemen and his daughter were the only ones in front of me in line and they kept me company while I waited. This place has fantastic signage and is very convenient. The price is probably average. Usually I use a coupon, but this year I didn't plan ahead. I was just happy they could take me on my lunch break. The man running the place was very friendly and knowledgeable about what he was doing, how the system worked, and what to do next if you car doesn't pass. I will return. read more

Fast and easy for smog. Nice management team. Very professional. Highly recommend and will plan to return when needed.

Super quick and easy. Was in and out and there was no wait at all to get help with my smog. Sent all information to DMV electronically which made it super easy. read more

Inexpensive and very fast. Appreciate the speed and the chill vibes.

Went in for test-only smog. This place is run by one guy and he showed the hustle of a business owner. Greeted me when I arrived. Told me how long the wait was and ask if that was OK. Finished the job on time. In, out, no problems. Service with a smile. He knew what he was doing and it was obvious. read more

I do not recommend this place. I went on Saturday to have my car smogged and when they were done he greeted me at the window with my paperwork and said "Ok, you're done" and I said "We're all good, passed?" And he said "Yeah". I paid and assumed the info would be sent to DMV. I didn't think any more of it until I looked like an idiot at DMV yesterday to have them show me that it had actually failed. I cannot comprehend why you wouldn't point out and tell the paying customer that it failed so that they would know to go fix whatever the issue. Pretty ridiculous way to run business. I will never go there again! Update: I was never offered a free retest! I left thinking my car had passed because the person there told me I did. Like I said before, I wouldn't go back there again. read more

I had a great experience here today. Fast, courteous, and professional service. I'll definitely use this company again!

Really great people! Very kind and knowledgeable, made smogging my truck a breeze. Couldn't be happier!

These guys are the best! Honest fast service with a smile. I've used them exclusively since I found them. Don't go anywhere else.

Smog Wizard is awesome! Got in and out super fast. Very good customer service. Will definitely be back.

This place is still great -- I've been using them for 7 years now on various cars. No matter who is working, they are fast, friendly, and organized. With no line, you'll be in and out in 10 minutes. Even with a line, you can do your quick paperwork and go order lunch at Viet Ha next door... you'll be done by the time you get your delicious food. You are welcome. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews but I seriously do not understand how this place gets so many 5 star ratings. The young man who took care of my car was not the owner so maybe that is why my experience was so horrible and completely different from what others are writing about. The guy who was working that day was not helpful at all, rude, and in my experience very dishonest. The check engine light in my car had come on the night before I brought it in but since we were already behind on the registration I brought it in for the smog check before getting the car serviced. I didn't realize that alone would mean the car would fail but Smog Wizard should have known that. Instead they charged me the $59 fee and ran the test which of course the car didn't pass. The guy then tells me "the car didn't pass, you have to get serviced and bring it back to retest" I ask where I bring it to and he just says "there are places downtown." He didn't even give a shit to try to help me. So I find a garage that is also highly recommended on Yelp. But when I ask them to fix the car they can't b/c they are not Smog Certified! SERIOUSLY! Apparently when you fail the Smog test - you're car becomes blacklisted and can only be repaired at garages that are designated as a Smog Repair shops, which the guy at Smog Wizard failed to tell me. So I called the guy at Smog Wizard to ask if he could tell me how to find these designated shops, perhaps give me some recommendations. Instead he rudely tells me "just look online" (see the theme on how they are not helpful and why the customer service is lacking). So I called a few shops asking if they are "smog certified repair shops." Luckily I found Auto Express, who does Smog Repairs AND the Smog test - this is a much better option than a smog test station like Smog Wizards considering if your car doesn't pass, they can't fix it nor can they refer you to a place that does fix it. As soon as I told them the story with the check engine light coming on the night before, they wondered why the guy at Smog Wizards would have even tested it knowing it wouldn't pass with the light on. And that is why I say they are DISHONEST!!! I'm giving one star b/c I have to and at least they only charge $9 for the repeat test once you get your car fixed. I would NOT recommend Smog Wizards nor will I ever go back there again. read more
