I don't know why I have not previously reviewed this amazing business. The other day it came to me that I have been getting my hair cut here for 31 years! YES, THIRTY-ONE YEARS!!! Need I say more. The two business owners Flor and her sister Asusena have been in business a little longer than the 31 years I have been going to them. Aside from the fact that I could be asleep and wake up satisfied with my haircut EVERY TIME, they are truly two of the most amazing people I have ever been blessed to know. They are like family to me I love them and you will too. In terms of services. I see them work on babies to geriatric people. I see them do crazy stuff with hair, eyelashes, weaves and more. believe they have their own line of hair extensions. They do amazing coloring's. I see all kinds of men and boys in there all the time. I think once you go there you'll become a customer for life. They recently moved from their original location on Broadway over to Orange and this too is a fantastic location Prices for me are incredibly reasonable in fact over the years I have had to pay her more simply because she'll never ask. My hair is very thin, and doesn't grow as quickly as it used to. Stephanie does an EXCELLENT job with extensions! I alternate between I-tip and tap Ins. Its so relieving to be able to have someone who knows how to place them so well that they barely show , and don't give up quickly! My husband and I share a passion for travel, and I love having full hair that I can swim with for 2-3 weeks and not have to worry about! And of course I went to her right before our wedding last year going to her salon is like therapy, every is treated like family. When I come in, Flor offers her fabulous coffee or water (sometimes fine Nicaraguan brewed :) Flor is great at cutting and color Brandy is amazing with eyelash extensions and Stephanie does wonders with hair extensions If you need a new look they can definitely help you out with that! I made an appointment (via text message no less) with Stephanie for hair extension placement. I had never been to this "salon" before. My appointment was at 12:00 and at 11:56 I get a call from Stephanie asking if I'm actually going to show up because she "has another girl who wants me to do her hair so if you're not coming I'm going to tell her to come" Ok...I assured here I would be on time and was just parking she says ok and we hang up... I get to the salon right on time at 12:00 only to find out that Stephanie is not even there herself!! When I first walked into the salon I was struck by how tiny and hot it was and there was NO ONE in the front to help me so I just awkwardly stood there for 5 mins. Finally some lady comes out from the back (I think she might have been the owner Flore) and she proceeds to ask ME where Stephanie is!!! She tells me to sit down ( never offers a bottle of water or an apology or anything of the sort) and calls Stephanie and I overheard her say "she is here, are you still coming?" I'm completely put off by this horribly awkward and rude situation but for some reason I decide to wait for this lady to show up...10 more minutes goes by and Stephanie calls and rambles on about some wedding stuff she is taking care of (as if I should care about this strangers personal problems and the fact that she clearly thinks her time is more valuable than mine). She tells me she will be there in "2 minutes" 12 more minutes pass for a total of a half hour after my actual appointment when I finally decide I've had enough and tell the owner that I'm leaving, the worst part is that this lady has the nerve to give me a dirty look and tell me "well Stephanie is coming just wait". Unbelievable!!! I have never been to such an unprofessional, rude and unfriendly salon in my life. I would hardly even call it a real salon as it is about 500 sq feet in total with no air conditioning (on an 80 degree day) tacky bright yellow painting, and more than half of the writing in the salon was in Spanish. The only other 2 clients there were also Hispanic and I felt a bit out of place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!!! read more

I came in from a friend recommendation and I have to say that I Love this place !!! Got a facial and my skin feels amazing I've never had my face feel so clean and so fresh. Carmen does a great job and she takes her time on your face. Also she explains to you what to do every day and gives you tips on products you can use at home to get your skin to be clear.
