On the outside not looking like much, the interior is welcoming with refreshments available while you wait. The technician walked me around my car and told me the approximate time it would take as well as what they'd be doing. It was a relatively small job I appreciate the thoroughness about the job. A couple days later the technician called me alerting me my car was ready. They did a great job and the best part is they washed my car, inside and out! I'm not sure that is what they normally do but it's a great gesture and boy did my car need it. If you're in need of a body shop and/or you insurance deals with them, I'd recommend.

It is not okay for an employee to decide that my change is automatically their tip. I asked him THREE times, "Can I please have my change so I can go?" At that point, after being treated with such a disrespectful attitude, I had absolutely no reason to want to leave a tip. To make matters worse, there was a clear language barrier, and the employees seemed to have difficulty communicating with customers in English. I was even asked why I don't speak Spanish, which was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. I should not be expected to speak another language in order to receive basic customer service. The employees clearly need proper training on how to communicate with customers, handle transactions, and understand that tips are optional, not something they can demand or take without permission. Extremely disappointing experience and definitely not somewhere I would recommend.

We promptly rescheduled the car to be dropped off the Tuesday after Labor Day and, without any follow-up, I received a call on Friday morning informing me that my car was ready. I went to pick up my car and it was very high quality work. He even went so far to take a nail out of my tire and plug it. Five-Star Review - East Coast Collision Auto Body Repair Center (Jersey City)…read more Unfortunately, my girlfriend recently damaged my car--a 2011 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 that I've owned and cherished for over 10 years. The damage wasn't major, but it was enough to require a body shop. I was extremely upset and, to be honest, very hesitant about trusting any repair shop. I had a few sleepless nights worrying that my car would never be the same again. Since I live in Jersey City, we drove the car (it was still drivable) to East Coast Collision, and from the moment we arrived, my anxiety started to ease. The first gentleman who assessed the vehicle--later I learned his name is Chris--was professional, calm, and thorough. The shop itself immediately impressed me: clean, well-lit, organized, and extremely professional. I'm 56 years old and have been around long enough to know when a business is legitimate. This place is the real deal. While sitting in the passenger seat, another gentleman came down the ramp, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally moved my car. I don't know his name, but he carried himself like an owner or senior leader--polite, confident, and clearly someone who takes pride in the business. The whole interaction felt respectful and reassuring. When my car was pulled inside the shop, I saw the interior--and honestly, I was blown away. The place was lit up like a stadium. You could see every detail. There were several high-end vehicles being repaired, and everything looked precise and professional. This was not one of those shady, insurance-shortcut shops. This was top-tier, legit work. They sat me down, explained the entire process, and even coordinated an Enterprise rental seamlessly. At that point, I felt confident leaving my "baby" in their care. About a week later, I got devastating news from the insurance company: my car was declared a total loss. I was crushed. It felt like losing a family member. From what looked like minor damage--a scrape, a busted light, a bumper--the car was suddenly gone. I was in disbelief and honestly depressed. When we returned to the shop, we spoke with Chris and Marissa Riccardi, who I later learned are siblings and part of the family that owns East Coast Collision. Marissa stepped right up, took charge, and patiently answered every question we had. She and Chris explained everything in detail and made thoughtful recommendations--never rushed, never dismissive. I was stubborn and emotional. I wasn't ready to let go of a car that had taken me everywhere--Florida, Virginia, Washington D.C., Vermont, Lake George, Pennsylvania, Boston, and countless trips throughout the tri-state area. That car was part of my life. Chris and Marissa showed genuine care and empathy. They helped me understand the situation and made an incredibly difficult transition much easier. They even allowed me time to remove my personal belongings, knowing how hard this was for me. Because of East Coast Collision, I can now move forward and eventually purchase my next vehicle--something I honestly couldn't imagine doing at first. I give East Coast Collision in Jersey City a five-star, five-diamond review without hesitation. Hats off to Chris, Marissa, that gentleman who greeted me out front, and the entire team--from top to bottom. Even the atmosphere and cleanliness spoke volumes. Thank you for your professionalism, compassion, and integrity. I will absolutely recommend East Coast Collision to anyone who asks. @Thatdominicanlife YouTube-Instagram-Tik Tok

They paid $7025…read more https://patch.com/new-jersey/woodbridge/woodbridge-auto-shop-charged-hundreds-for-unnecessary-repairs-state-says I didn't know this when AAA sent them to fix the AAA battery. But then we experienced the Scam. My dad & uncle are both over 70. My dad wanted to give the car to my uncle in September 2018. AAA sent Moshe's to jump start or change the AAA Battery. Moshe's had come once before in July 2018. Ashton, the guy they sent, had said it was not a battery problem but an Alternator problem. He had argued on the phone with our regular repair guy we have been going to for over 10+ years - who had just repaired the Alternator. Ashton just jumped the car in July. Basically Moshe's did not want to honor switching out the AAA Battery that was under warranty. Then Ashton told my dad he'll fix it himself. He dented my hood instead of pressing the button next to the Driver's side like a normal person. He was there very late, working on our car in the driveway. My uncle and Dad both had to go to work in the morning. But it wasn't fixed. He still charged them. Fast-forward, I go to Toyota October 31, 2018 to get the battery and alternator checked, because the car had not been fixed in September by Moshe's. So they said there would be a fee, and that the repair that was previously done -- now the Alternator was from Moshe's -- should be refunded, because they put in the wrong one. So I called AAA - since that is who we had called in the first place. AAA said the repair shop would have to handle the refund or replacement. They told ME the repair shop was Moshe's and gave me a list of the various battery calls that year. Moshe's was unresponsive on the phone. So Nov 5, 2018 we went there personally. Moshe and his wife Michelle put up a Huge Show. They both pretended that we had never called them. Michelle called someone - claiming it was AAA - awho nd Michelle claimed that we didn't show up in Moshe's computer. "Oh, I have a call from you in the computer to M&M Towing on November 1st, not to Moshe's on October 31st." We did not know that M&M Towing IS Moshe's - until I looked it up later. Then after screaming and shouting at me and my parents for an hour, Moshe called Ashton in from outside -- who admitted that he had done all the previous things I mentioned. So then they pretended that he had backstabbed them. All this drama -- when really all they had to do was replace the AAA Battery that was under warranty in the first place. So then they did not replace the Battery or Alternator, but said - it's the Fuse Box -- and tried to charge $150, and to come back later. Then I remembered that M&M Towing had charge Double the miles in July 2018 when they towed the car to get the Alternator fixed by our regular mechanic. So then we went back at 5pm when they said the car was ready. Another lady was paying for her service. Moshe pretended like he had no idea why I was there, when we had just gone through all this in the morning with his wife and him screaming and shouting, and playing games. Then I said I'm going to report him, and he suddenly threw in a free oil change. Then the next day, I took the car back to our regular mechanic, Prospect Exxon, to check it. He said that Moshe's is notorious for scamming people, and told me about the Sting Operation. I don't know why AAA keeps referring them. But stay away!
