Right now, residents are trying to fight a change where we were promised a community center, grocery store, and other retailers and instead will plan to put in 450 4-5 story apartments which will tower over the single family homes across the street. The original rendering is still online, falsely advertising the future of Ascent Village. When this topic is brought up at community meetings, we are gaslight to hell. The hope for resident feedback affecting any decisions is all but lost. If you want to have any autonomy or say it what you do with your house, Do not move here. The CAB is the most intrusive, inflexible HOA I've ever had. No effort spent into mutual agreements, or logical thought processes into what residents try to fight. The website personals about how the CAB really cares about its residents and what they want is a joke. Neighbors are great. The CAB gives us something to bond over.

Bait and switch central. Even if you do the research of what will be put near your million dollar…read morehome CAB can change that and build what they want at any time. They are still lying to everyone on their website about what will built in this village. Making the most money seems to be their only cause for concern, not the retail they promised everyone, not the parks and amenities they fail to build year after year, and definitely not things that might negatively impact your home value. You can't even really research what will be built here because CAB wants to pull the wool over your eyes and keep you out of the discussion making until it's to late. Stay away.

There are numerous waste bag stations throughout the property also. I opted for a garage, and it has kept my vehicle safe; no issues with finding a parking spot either. Thank you to Nathan, Susi, Sally, and the maintenance staff, who were very prompt when called upon.

The office has been closed since mid March, no extra distractions and the manager Devyn is terrible, always has wrong amounts on my account, if your wondering how it changes month to month? I do too. Then Devyn doesn't mark as paid. Having a court order for possession when you paid during this already stressful moment is the worst. Managenent is terrible. Maintenance guys especially Andrew are awesome. Ryan and Thomas are great in the office, Thomas has moved up and not in the office anymore so again we have newbies that have no idea what they are doing. Customer service is terrible. You never get a correct answer. You need to record your phone conversations and email everything for it to be legit in their minds. Why am I still here? Long story short, one more year kiddo graduating high school nearby and moving sucks. Managenent really is everything. And Devyn is terrible. Also Managenent doesn't control all the non residents using the hot tubs or pools This was all last year Oh we are limited to 9-6 just recently for the gym and pool? We can't use the gun after or before work or the pool or the dog area but no of course we get no discount. Managenent is terrible

We were beyond miserable, and were often told "What would you like me to do?" In an extremely dismissive and condescending way. There are many more experiences with her that I won't go into because this review is meant to praise Shannon! Once she arrived, this ENTIRE place turned around. Things like Easter events were held! And coffee with donuts! So many planned events that were well thought out and overall so enjoyable! Things we never got with prior management. Notices were sent out using kind words, rather than threatening words. Everyone was heard, empathized with, and above all actions were taken. The care and pride in the establishment has increased by tenfold. All interactions are pleasant, kind, and positive. We actually look forward to going into the office! It used to be quite nerve racking, and often times tears were shed while problems remained unsolved. So to have a total turn around is rare. But Parkside is doing it! We absolutely adore Michael, Shannon, and Josh! They've made this such a special place to live.

The management and administrative staff are wonderful--friendly, approachable, responsive, and always willing to help. The maintenance team is fantastic as well and consistently goes above and beyond whenever something needs attention. The property itself is beautiful and very well cared for, and there's a real sense of community here. The pool and hot tub are great, but I especially appreciate that the staff makes an effort to create opportunities for residents to actually connect. They regularly host events in the clubhouse, and it genuinely makes this feel like a community rather than just a place where people happen to live. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and welcoming, and I always feel like the residents are valued and appreciated. It's rare to find an apartment community where the management, maintenance, grounds, amenities, and overall atmosphere are all this good. I'm genuinely happy to call this place home!

Jazmin was excellent in assisting with answering all my questions. Both Jazmin and Dee were incredibly welcoming on my initial tour and later when I returned to sign a lease. I have not been on a tour where the leasing agents were both knowledgeable AND friendly. I am beyond impressed with the service I have received. As for the property, I did get the apartment unseen, which is always a huge stressor. Westerly has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee that I've seen no where else. And no wonder because the place looked almost new besides superficial scratches. The maintenance team were quick and friendly when some fixes were needed in the first few days. I have been living here for nearly a month now and I have no complaints. The A/C and appliances all work great and are modern (which you should expect for the higher price point of these apartments). Despite being backed to 470, I can't hear traffic within the apartment. At this time, I can't recommend Westerly more and I appreciate Jazmin and Dee for making me feel so welcome.

After expressing concerns with patio furniture being damaged from neighbors above they never resolved the issue and encouraged us to resolve the issue our selves instead of becoming involved. Ashley Johnson was specifically bad at following up on this issue and seems more concerned with property parties. After complaining about loud banging at all hours or the morning and night she said it was children up stairs and after doing my own investigation I came to realize it was simply the storm/fire doors catch that had broken and would slam shut when opened. I also talked to surrounding neighbors and simply had to ask them to be mindful when opening their and shutting their doors which resolved the issue for the most part. We also noted several of the management staff smoking on premises even though it's a none smoking property. I terminated the lease agreement within four months because how incompetent they were. Be very careful when considering this property.
