While responses may be described as "direct," they often came across as defensive rather than helpful when concerns were brought up. Parking was also an issue. We were never clearly notified about how limited guest parking actually was, and visitors often had to park down the street. There were also times we saw people camping right outside in the corners of the property. They would get removed, but then come back weeks later. There were also multiple car break-ins while living here, and neighbors would often warn about seeing sketchy people at night. The move-out process required multiple follow-ups. The itemized statement was not initially provided by mail as stated, and was only uploaded to the portal after repeated requests. There were also duplicate charges and a prior payment that had to be corrected. After posting a review elsewhere, management responded stating that everything was clearly communicated and supported. Impressive and Excellent Work…read more We had a serious plumbing incident that occurred last month and the following three individuals are who I dealt with and were instrumental in resolving the crisis quickly. Problem: I went into the kitchen to find water pooling on the floor. It was cold water coming from under the sink area. It appeared that the cold water hose attachment was giving way and spewing out water. I grabbed a wrench and tried to tighten it but to no avail. The water pressure was too great. What a nightmare! Assistance: I then called the office and spoke to William. After I relayed the info to him, he immediately expedited the problem to two wonderful maintenance people, namely Luis and Gilbert. He also took some time to calm me down because I was frantic. William is very professional, diligent, and quite skilled in his job duties. There was no delay in getting maintenance to our apartment. Solution: Luis came in first and upon seeing the disaster, immediately went downstairs and turn the water off. He contacted Gilbert who came in record time with a water suction vacuum. He worked very fast and hard and all the water was gone in about 6-7 minutes. This is the best team work I have seen in a long time. Also when Gilbert came to replace the shelf under the sink, he discovered that our garbage disposal unit was inoperable and a very small water leak was detected. The unit could not be repaired, so he replaced it and we've had no more leaks. Luis and Gilbert are very hardworking, knowledgeable, and are highly skilled in their field of maintenance. I am truly grateful for all the work they did in resolving the situation. I'm also grateful for William's quick response to the problem and also his genuine concern. We were made well aware of the train before we even finished the tour and we were on board knowing full well there would be noise. The staff make every attempt to help residents when things arise. I had an issue with a homeless person poking around my apartment and Lena helped me sort it out asap. Jose has been the most helpful and handy person on the planet. He's even come after hours to help me sort out some things in my apartment. I love using the amenities and the property is well maintained. It's a great location to live as well with good access to downtown! I have noticed stray cats in the past, but they don't cause any issues. They look like they've been fixed by the looks of their ears since they've been tipped. They are not disease ridden that's just a harmful misconception. This street seems to be home to strays as they live down the street from what I seen. Them stopping by is inevitable, but they are not pests as others have seemingly implied. If you leave them be they will roam away as they roamed in. If you take reviews at face value then it can be easy to get carried away. The overwhelming regard for the lofts speaks for itself. A little due diligence on this Property Management's sister properties shows their consistency when it comes to negligence.
