Finally got to try Nana Morrison's Soul Food in Cary! Definitely a cool setup! I went around lunchtime and there was no wait at all to order. I decided on the fried pork chop, which I didn't realize was a made-to-order meal. I expected a little bit of a wait because of that, but I was honestly shocked when it took about 25 minutes to get my food. My friend had already finished her smothered chicken by the time mine came out Thankfully, her chicken was VERY good because I definitely stole a few bites while I waited! As far as my meal, I think next time I'd order something that's already cooked and ready to go and probably switch up my sides. The mac and cheese and yams weren't quite as good as I was hoping for, and the cornbread muffins were pretty dry and probably my least favorite part of the meal. Now the sweet tea?? SWWWWWWWEEEEET!
