My wife and I had always planned to get to it ourselves, but work and family always came first. So, we finally sought help, and BAM's was great. Another landscaper wanted 500 - 1000 dollars just to consult and draw a pretty picture of what our yard *could* look like. Then I reached out to BAM's. Initially I reached out just about the front and side yards and sent them pictures. They offered me quote based on what I wanted done (spring cleanup and mulch installation), and I accepted. They quickly got me scheduled and when the day came, they did just an amazingly efficient job (much, much faster than I ever thought possible) and a very thorough one (it wasn't just fast, it was well done). The three guys who did the work were just incredibly friendly and professional, and did the beds in the backyard too, much to my very happy surprise (the quote wasn't in fact limited to the front and sides, but I was so overwhelmed with what I thought were the worst parts of the yard, I neglected that fact). This excuse is not logical or valid, just like your charges. - Thank you for clarifying that I lived within 10 seconds of your business so it would not have been a hassle to come back on a non-rainy day. - Thank you for demonstrating that you took more time to respond to this public review than the many emails I sent you. I did not want to drudge up more drama or for this business to threaten to disclose my private information and address. There's a reason I waited until I moved across the country to post this reviewed. I was scared! Giving this business your credit card is a carte blanche for them to rack up charges. You are not charged for each visit, but for months at a time. The explanation is that weekly visits are not guaranteed, but your contract guarantees them weekly payment. I was charged extra to weed wack part of my yard that had a gradual 6-in elevation difference and therefore was not mowed or edged for months. No permission was sought of course for this extra charge.

After several weeks of service, I cannot be more pleased with Ferdy's reliability and the quality of the service. Even before the first service, he asked to walk the yard with me and covered critical questions such as what to do with clippings and how high I wanted it cut and went so far as to provide recommendations - my experience with previous landscapers has been that I would need to reach out to them to cover those details. Ferdy is someone who obviously cares about the quality of his work and satisfying his customers. The mowing and edging service is carried out each and every week on a very dependable schedule. The crew alternates the direction of the mow every week (as they should; a detail that they executed unprompted by me) and edging is always done so as not to cut too much back from edges but to also not let growth continue into landscaped areas. Clippings that fall outside of the yard are, of course, blown back into the grass for a clean, professional appearance. Rates for services are very competitive for the area and billing is conducted monthly at the end of the month - a very simple and straightforward process. I contacted Nature's Friends to sort out my issues and Cliff was over at my house in no time. He talked through any prior water retention issues I had, and came up with a plan to future proof our house from any flooding that could happen with big storms. The crew were back out within a few days and executed the plan as Cliff specified. The laborers placed one of the pop-ups a little too close to the house, and without any intervention, the day-of-supervisor spoke with me to let me know they would extend it according to plan, and corrected everything. They also replaced my sump pump, which was not the easiest thing due to a seized grate closure (see pics), and at a fraction of the price quoted by plumbers. I was really impressed with how quick everything was completed, and for a job like this (digging long trenches to run PVC), my yard looks nearly immaculate. They gave me instructions to heal the grass patches so my lawn would look as it did before in no time. After the work was done, Cliff reached out to make sure all was working well when it rained. I highly recommend reaching out to Nature's Friend for any of your needs -- you can tell they really care about their customers, and I will be reaching out to them for any future landscaping needs.

So happy with their work I'm going to give them one of my full on reviews. Estimates & Cost The damage was both near our house and further out on our property. Jeff quickly came out and surveyed everything and then did a bit of tree triage (treeage if you will, ha!!!) in determining what needed immediate attention and scheduling everything else. As for the cost of all of the work done it was beyond reasonable. Given the size of the trees and the timing I thought it would have been much more. Especially given the estimates we get from the randos who randomly ring our doorbell. Nope not falling for them, sticking with Services Unlimited from now on! Timing - aka Holiday Weekend All of this occurred right before Memorial Day weekend. Somehow all of my emergencies seem to happen on the eve of holiday weekends so I'm well versed in the various runarounds. Not here! Mother Nature struck and they were working and attentive as if it was a typical weekend. That alone is four stars in my book. They came out on Sunday morning over Memorial Day to take care of our higher priority damage. I was worried other parts of the tree could fall on the house as the wind was bad over the weekend. Their quick and professional work was greatly appreciated and gave me some peace of mind. Honestly, this stuff is scary. Triage - aka Treeage (sorry couldn't help it again) They were obviously super busy given that two tornadoes hit our area within a week. Thus they did all of our work in three separate segments over the course of about a week and a half. They had to deal with more pressing tree on house situations in the area yet they still managed to fit us in when they could. To anyone that has experienced the wrath of a large downed tree timing is critical especially when it comes to protecting healthy trees in close proximity. Employees Their employees are fantastic and have their system down to a science. On their second visit they dealt with a huge problematic tree that was just waiting to fall on our house. Watching how they did what they did made me anxious but it was also mind blowing. Starting to get carried away here but really they're all a great team I can't stress that enough. Overall If you've made it this far, how on earth have I written this much about tree removal? A bit out of my realm but I felt the need to share because they're just that good. My neighbors used one of the doorbell ringers on their tree and the comparison is laughable. It took them five hours to do less than what took these guys 50 minutes at my house in a much more professional manner. Please, please, please consult them for an estimate.
