Jess explained the process and pricing, and promptly sent forms and contracts that corresponded with our conversations to outline and finalize details. She spent a great deal of time discussing with me what were my needs and exploring possibilities for the overall look and feel of the photo I desired. The shoot itself was SO fun. Jess knows how to put you at ease and also gives direction and has an eye for detail. She'd move a hair that was out of place or tell me to lean forward or shift my weight if a pose I was going for didn't look quite right, etc. She also had a lovely assistant whose kind and easy-going demeanor was a bonus. Jess made this feel like a boutique experience: like I would imagine if going to a "big city" and working with the best in their field. If a photographer can have bedside manner- Jess is a 10! She is obviously technically skilled as well, so to have the full package was a find. She would offer her perspective but would also listen to my feedback and wants without condescension. Photo and video were such a big thing for us on our wedding day, and even though we've seen so much of their work and loved it, they legit blew us away with their talent and expertise.
