We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn Rochester Airport after arriving on a late flight before…read moreheading out on a family vacation to the Finger Lakes. While our stay itself was what we expected from an airport hotel, I wanted to specifically recognize your manager, Chardonnay Jeffries, who made a lasting impression on us. We checked in a little after 10 p.m., got settled in our room, and ordered a very late dinner. When I came downstairs around 11 p.m. to pick it up, I noticed Chardonnay had just arrived for work. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming and told me to let her know if there was anything our family needed during our stay. The next morning, we came down for breakfast a little after 9 a.m., and I was surprised to see Chardonnay still there. She was moving nonstop throughout the breakfast area--refilling food, bringing out fresh carafes of coffee, cleaning up, and making sure the 20+ guests eating breakfast had everything they needed. What really struck me was realizing that she had been there for nearly 12 hours at that point. Despite what had obviously been a very long overnight shift, she remained friendly, professional, attentive, and continued taking care of guests with a smile. I don't often take the time to submit hotel feedback, but Chardonnay deserves to be recognized. It's easy to provide great service at the beginning of a shift; doing it with the same energy and professionalism after nearly 12 hours is something else entirely. I hope someone in hotel leadership--and Marriott, if this feedback reaches them--takes the time to recognize Chardonnay for the effort she puts into taking care of her guests and the property. Employees like her are the ones guests remember long after checking out.

Was very nice to have a full kitchen that was well stocked with cooking/serving supplies. Fantastic gym, everything was brand new and in great condition. Allows pets and while we saw dogs come and go, never once heard any barking. I also never thought I'd get excited about a hotel closet, but the organization it afforded was fabulous! Most of all, the staff went above and beyond-always friendly, professional and made you feel like friends. Breakfast foods were ample (never ran out of items even at the rush) and the living room area appealing, although a little day-to-day variation in menu would be nice addition (we stayed a full week and everyday was the same.) All in all, two thumbs way up!

We were delighted with our photos and how well they captured the memories of our wedding in San Francisco. Eric is one of those photographers that isn't working with clients because it's his job -- he's incredibly passionate about his work, and cares deeply about the happiness of his clients. For our wedding in April, we were planning a pretty complicated Chinese - Indian - American wedding ceremony with five outfits between the bride and groom as well as two different ceremonies. Eric spent quite a bit of time working with us to make sure that he was familiar with the schedule of the day and making sure we got all the photos we wanted. He even put together a small wedding slideshow for our family to see. You can see a small subset of our photos here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFU16i1hhn4 They're worth every penny. Hire them!

We were disappointed with the quality of the DJ service at our event however. The initial introductions of the wedding party were done incorrectly and though the DJ was very apologetic, the night did not get better. It was hot so I understand not many people wanted to dance, but the music wasn't exactly something you wanted to "bust a move" to either. When requests were made, they were not always played, songs were repeated in the short time of our reception, and at least 3 group choreographed songs were played in a row (cupid shuffle, cotton eye Joe, etc.). The DJ was very nice, it was just not the night I had envisioned and really the only disappointing thing about our reception.
