The cabbie didn't get out. Did not know how to open back. Did not have change. The back seat was leaning all way back. I tod him, he said climb in a nd fx it. Finally he did. We stopped at hucks for glchange. He pulled out a vapor cig an smoked. Window up. Blew it at me. I gave him no tip. I usually tip. And even when I had to wait an hour, I tried to pay. Review is specific to the Inter-City service…read more I had to arrange a one-way ride out to just outside Benton, and *really* didn't want to use the sole taxi service. A call to PATS (though disconnected twice; apparently the shuttle service is new, and few ask to go out to Benton Highway as I did) got me setup for the nearly one hour ride... for $20. A bargain! My driver was fantastic, and when I'd commented on the price he mentioned the service is starting up (which in my mind, translated out to be things would cost more as the kinks work out -- though aside from the disconnected calls, there were none). The driver picked me up at the Paducah airport (and arrived 15 minutes earlier than I'd requested, even better as it was a no-hassle walk from the plane to the front door), and about 60 minutes later I was at my destination. Doesn't get any better than that!

If I had not gone to get her, she would've been there for the whole night. They normally had called her and canceled the ride if they couldn't get her, but there was no excuse no call.
